In 101 numbered blog ( immediate last one) we learned the basic important principle of Jainism that soul is immortal and even with killing of a unit the number of total souls in the Universe remains unchanged. Suppose with weapons like knife or revolver one cut a cow, goat or shoot a man. Then what will be the results of such act-?
In day to day life we see butchers involved in such acts. They may
be a direct culprit but the customers for whom they do it also are
indirect culprits one. Let us study the impact of it, so someone may
think to keep away from such sin in future and advise others also.
As a result there will be a physical disappearance of that particular soul which left for heavenly abode. Now what are consequences for the shooter or killer. Bhagwatisutra in 09/34 Shatak titled in Hindi "Purush,Nopurush and Rishi Ghatak "Mahaveerswami has told Gurugutamswami that such killer is a killer of dead together with souls living under his shelter. As the shielded one they lost shelter.
In case the killed one happened to be a monk or noble soul, the killer kills the monk and infinite souls who would have followed his path of non-violence Thus Bhagwan has clarified one popular misconception that killing kills only a direct victim alone. Such a
crime is being also committed for so many other orphan followers.
In such cases no doubt the killer builds Nikachit Karma( Means not eligible to be nullified but to be faced with same results ) against the departed souls. He has to repay the debt in same or another way of severe form. Even if one is follower of Jainism or non-violence in current birth ,he need not to hate other violent people. The basic reason being in many of our previous lives we may have committed same sins in absence of knowledge of connected consequences.
Only thing we can do is to pray that such people can gain the right knowledge and right faith to value life of living ones and express our regret such mistakes committed by us knowingly or otherwise
unknowingly in our all previous births. Thus be sure our smallest action does not cause a slight injury to any living soul or his dependent. As the we all are under the powerful vigilance of Karma doctrine. So it is better to be careful for making any wrong choice.
