JAINISM-DHAMMO MANGAL MUKKITTAM---!!!.

 Friends, above one liner is from Aagam " Dushvekalik Sutra". This is regarded as "Mula Sutra" composed by"  Pujya Aacharya Shree Shayanabhav swami". Aacharyaji took "Diksha" when his wife was pregnant.Aachayji studied 14 Purva and was second "Shrutkewali". Subsequently his wife gave birth to a baby boy named as "Manak". After some time boy Manak met his monk father and took"Diksha" under him. Acharya was knowing this  child monk has a very short span of life. In such a short span to study all  Aagams was difficult. In order to help little monk to know summary of thirty two Aagams, Aacharyaji composed TEN chapters of "Aagam'---- popularly called

as "Dushvekalik Suttra". It contains in short what is real "Dharama".

The meaning of it " The Dharma is best auspicious which contains Non-violence, Sayaam and Tap. Dharma is what a living soul posses  in and out while living. Heavenly Gods bowed down to such a noble souls. Needless to point out that Jainism involves all 3 features in it.

Dushvekalik's all 10 chapter are easy and can be remembered easily. Shrutkewali means Kewali who knew by hearing or studying while "Kewali" knows everything for all three periods directly themselves.

We all have some faith or beliefs with which we live life. Ahinsa is all about caring for other living souls. Sayam simply mean to control all organs including mind, speech and body actions. Jain religion has

given 20 tools for it. Tap denotes to go for Pachkhans or fast as suits our body. It aims to restrict  our taste and quantum of intake. A soul may belong to any Dharma, if he is living life with these three basics he is following correct religion. It may be labelled by any other name

One may not to free to read all Aagams just add 3 elements to life. One may be blessed enough to have all resources, even such rich one need to utilize his wealth  keeping in mind these holy elements in his daily conduct while dealing with self and others. Following a correct  like Jain religion is not a easy task. It requires liking, reading a good religious literature, building a correct faith which leading to a correct religion and following it. Jinwani is a ocean  without drowning in it

fully, it is difficult for any soul to cut his numerous next lives cycles. Dushvekalik is a guide for all Shrawaks and monks. It guides them for Gochari, Aachar, Anachar, Vinay and all essentials for salvation. Engagement with Dharma offers a strength pillar to any soul. With it Dharma we get calm and cool  vision to face the calamities of life as

life cannot be bed of roses all the times .Dharma specially if is Jain religion it can explain soul and coverage of Karma on it and ways to clear the layers of it so one can reach the last destination of Moksha.

Friends, we all Jains as devotees of Bhagwan are interested to know more and more about  Pujya Mahaveer Bhagwan. I complied some interesting fact related to him shared here with. His soul has done so many life cycles.Aagam has information of his life only after getting Samkit. His first life when he got Samkit was of "Nayansar".In this life he offered food to Jain monk. Similarly Aagam do not have information when soul do not has mind.Post Samkit his Gati are as-  

Bhagwan done 14 lives of human+10 lives of Devata+2 of hell ,one as Tiriyanch as of lion.  Human- 1+3+5+23+25+27 (Odd)+ Even are 6+8+10+12+14+16+18 +18+22.Deologa---------2nd+4th+24th+26th (Even)7+9+11+13+15+17.Hell-19+21.20 the life he lived as of Lion. Here we shall know the basic rule. Hell and heaven souls do not have repeat Yoni. In 3rd Bhav of " Marich " he got to know that he will be Thirthankar and getting salvation. Brief of Bhagwan 27 lives names. 1-Nayasar-2-sodharma-1st Devlog3-Marichi -grand son of Rishadeo

4- Brama Devlog 5 th-5-Kaushik Bramin-6-Pushpamitra Bramin- 

7- Sodharma 1st Deolog-8-Agnidyoat Bramin9-Ishhan 2nd Deologa.

10-Agnibhuti bramin11-Sanatkumar3rd Deologa12 Bhardwajbramin.

13-Mahendra 4th Deolog-14-Sthawarbramin-15-Brahma 5th Deolog. 16-Vishwabhuti Yuvraj-17-Mahashukra7th Deologa-18---Tripushta

Vasudeo. As Varudeo take birth in hell compulsorily Bhagwan's next 19 Bhav was in 7th hell.20-Lion-21-4th hell-22 -Vimal Rajkumar-23-Priyamitra Chakravarty-24-Mahashukra 7th Deolog-25-- Nandan Rajkumar--- In this Bhav -Bhgawan followed Sayam and it caused  him to built Thirthankaragotra.26 Pranat10th Deologa-27-Vardhman.

B-Bhagwan was under Tap of Bela on 3 of his major events namely- 1-Dikha-2-Getting Kewaldyan and Kewaldarshan 3- Attain salvation. C-Nine souls have built Thirthankar Gotra during Bhagwan's tenure. They are-- 1-King Shrenik-2-Suparshwa3-Udaaee-4--Pottil Angaar. 5-Dridaayu-6-Shankshrawak-7 Pokhali-8-Sulasa Shrawika 9-Rewati.

Rewati Shrwika offered him Bijorpaak when he suffered Tejoleshya.

D-8 Kings took Diksha from Bhagwan namely-Veeradank, Veeryash, Sanjay. Eneyaak, Shwetaswami,Rajashiv, Udayan Raja, ShankRaja. E-Bhagwan took Diksha at age of 30 and got Nirvana at age of 72.In this span of 42 years he has done 42 Chaturmas. This span consist of 12 year before Kewal Dyan and 30 post Kewaldyan. Kewal Darshan.

The city wise details are Rajgriha and Nalandapada (14)+ Vaishali or Vanijyagram (12)+Mithila (6)+Champa (3) Bhaddilpur (2)+ one each at Ashtigram+Alwika+Shrawasti+ Vrajabhumi (Anaryadesh) and last at Pawapuri where he got salvation. To cut Karma he selected Anarya

F-Bhagwan's 700 monks got salvation while His 300 monks has got knowledge of  fourteen (14) Purva popularly known as Shrutkewali.

G- Bhagwan used a cloth piece on his shoulder for + 13 month since

he took Diksha. Once it dropped then Bhagwan has not picked it up. H-Bhagwan took Diksha alone For other 23 Thirthanakar the data is Parshwanathji and Mallinathji 300 each + Vasupujyaji 600+4000 for Rishabhdeo Bhagwan and 1000 each for all remaining Thirthankars. I-First Gochari Mahaveerswami got from "Bahul".Indrabhutiji and Chandanbalaji were his first disciples. Shaalvriksha was the name of

tree under which Bhagwan got noble Kewaldyan and Kewaldarshan.

Friends today was the last day of Chaturmas-22. Tomorrow all Jain monks will leave current place for another destination. Gurudeo in his last speech at current venue covered  very important topic shared herewith. " Devanupriya in this last lecture, I will like to revisit story of Aagam "Antagarhasutra". You know Dwarika was a miracle city on earth built by heavenly God called "Veshrman" at request of lord. It was resembling heaven was and called "Dwarika as it has so many

doors. Main doors were nine in number. Same is number is for outer hole for our human body. With untimely departure of loved younger brother Gaj- Sukumali Muni, Shri Krishna easily came to know that good period of his empire is seems to be ending soon. His guess was later confirmed by Bhagwan Neminathaji. Three reasons quoted for the end. Curse of Dwipayanrishi, alcohol and  quarrels within the dominant cast Yadawas.  To witness end of empire together with self and loved one was not a easy task. We all know from Antagarhasutra

the moments of such a distress what Krishna Maharaj has done. He started to take care of al families whose members go for Dikha. He also encouraged his queens to become Jain Sadhviji. Shrikrihna him self was unable to go for Diksha as he was a Vasudeo. All Vasudeo's fate is compulsorily to take birth in hell. Just try to make out lesson from this story. We need to visulise our body as Dwarka having nine  doors. We often get signals from our body or doctors. Does we notice

and act upon it. We may face issues with hearing eyesight or stomach but our interest to run after wealth and near ones never get changed. If you are a Jain and is aware of "Pandit Maran" and "Bal Pandit Maran" with  Pachkhan then it is well and good . Pandit Maran for  Jain monks and Bal is for Shrawaks But if you are Jain age above 60

years of age and not knowing it then you must act fast. Try to be in company of good Shrawaks and monks and learn Santhara and other basics of Jainism together with 12 Mahavrata for Shrawak. Take care of "Aparigraha" which means non possession. We all very well know that all the wealth- no one can take along with self at the time of his departure. As a result make a will for fair distribution of it including proper share of charity Most important is to declare that henceforth

you do not own these assets by taking Pachkhana and saying 3 times Osirami! Osirami ! Osirami .! It means you gave up it's ownership. Make a practice to take Pachkhana each day while going to sleep as

"Aahhar, Sharir, Upadhi- Pachku Paap Athar"

"Maran Paau To  Osirau ,Nahi to Jab Tak Bolu Nahi Navkar"

Bhagwan Mahaveer has informed in Bhagwati Sutra that a soul can continue to attract Kriya even if he leaves world without giving up.

The main idea is to  nullify all possession before the departure. Hope you will understand the importance and will act, We all very well know that death is certain but  time and venue is uncertain. So be ready for any event and ready with good backup Gurudeo concluded.

Friends, Diwali is the most popular festival among all Indians from centuries. This festival aims to celebrate two events. First return of Prabhu Ramchandraji to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile and secondly attaining Moksha by Mahaveerswami. Business community added third event of Laxmipuja as Laxmi goddess might have visited earth to participate in any of two events as above. Lighting added by sweets and crackers are symbols to express joy for all those events. Same day is also marked for Guru Gatauswami attaining Kewaldyan. However a true Jain celebrate it by reciting 108 times holy Veerstuti "Puchhisunam" and "Uttaradhyansutra " in full or 36th last chapter

To enjoy108 recitation I try to give meaning of difficult words here. Shrawaks can do it up to 24h Oct.25 and 26 Oct is "Aswadhyakal." one can also recite a two liner on Veernirvan day which is as follow- "Mahaveerswami Huye Nirvan,Guatamswami Paye Kewaldyan

JAINISM--SAFETY OF JAINATVA AND JAINS--!!.

Friends, I was fortunate to participate in events of Paryushan at city Jodhpur. At Sawastari after Khamatkhamna there was a meeting of  major Shrawaks from all over India to discuss vision documents for Jain community. Herewith I cover few points for  this Blog readers. 

1- With family planning and difficulties in upbringing size of Jain families in current scenario has been restricted to a single or at the most two kids. Old times of four brothers with three sister is getting vanished. This will restrict population of Jains in near future. Jain religion being at number ten will soon fall from the present ladder.

Jains all over world in 2024 may be around 47 lacs out of 800 crore world population with a growth rate negligible two percent or less.

2-Second speaker was worried about increasing disparity in society. On one hand there is lavish avoidable expenditure in weddings and other small functions while major portion is facing survival issues, Slowly poverty is creeping in. He suggested to appoint survey teams to know needs of fellow brothers through visits to hospitals homes and colleges admissions windows. A common fund to be established to help really needed Jains. He quoted example of team working in

Ahmedabad. He further added not to arrange five star hotels ,dinner at wedding to avoid lighting and dinner after sunset. One need to avoid lawns for various functions speaker requested. He also warned not to use roots in food as it can damage our own Jain culture. He added that more scholarship funds to be created as number of Jain students going abroad has been increased  at present over few years.

3 -Third speaker was concerned about lack of study of Jainism  with younger generation and kids. He suggested senior to work as teacher

in Jain Pathshala and to start Mahaveer Gurukul in remote villages.

He also suggested to start online classes for Samaik and Pratikaman.

4-Forth speaker was worried about vanishing Jain culture in young ones. He quoted western influence in dresses and fast food likings. Ladies are more inclined to fashion without caring for image of Jain society in metropolitan cities. A self discipline is very much needed.

He urged ladies to use Odani to cover hair while in Stanak or temple.

5- Fifth member cautioned to young generation to keep Jain culture intact .He feared in those days of growing extreme religious pattern.

He said if we failed to go to Derasar or Sthanak with our kids soon in next 25 years they will be victim of other easy religions and may not follow vegetarian foods. It should be our careful watch that can prevent them from wrong food ,drinks habits.at any cost they must not eat eggs and other similar as advocated by Jineshwar Bhagwan

6- Sixth member rose safety issues of Sadhuji and Sadwiji while in theVihar. He asked to ensure to form Vihar Samiti and it's members shall accompany Gurudeo till reach their next planned destination.He also requested to build Vihar Bhavan at distance of 20km in villages,

He added to ensure availability of sufficient shops to provide tools

like Aassan, wind driven and sand watches, Aagam books meant for Swadhya  and to perform Samaik and Saiyam and religious activitiy.  7-Last speaker raised issue of vocal language. He said eventually kid will learn English and Hindi language.But parents must insist kids to

speak Marwadi or Gujrathi language at home as majority Jains are being migrated from Rajasthan and Gujratj, Any language is being shaped in hundred years. It should not happen our kids forget it with western culture abroad, and jobs outside India. Wemust preserve it.  

Friends we may belong to any of branch of Jainism. When a religion

which gave us everything is in danger we must do whatever we can do in our best capacity. Points may be similar or different but it is for sure the future seems to be challenging.Mahaveer Bhagwan said  our Jain religion will last for 21000 years. We need to ensure it's strong presence in the world. As a famous quote goes who lives if India die. On similar line just think which Jain can live without Jain religion.

JAINISM-WHAT IS " SHUDDHA DHARAM"--!!!.

  Friends most of us either Jain or non- -Jain wish to follow a correct religion. However due to basic background of our religious practices we may fail to do it. The reason being we follow religion by tradition rather than studying features. Let us go through Gurudeo 's guidance. He was addressing captioned question put to him by a Jain devotee.  " Devanupriyo the question is too simple but most difficult to reply. If the answer is believed and acted upon the world will be happy and get rid of all ongoing tensions. My answer is based on a Jain quote.

It means Arihant Bhagwan is true Bhagwan, their teachings being a correct and true religion and Guru acting and believing it deeply is true Guru. Let me discuss reasons for those criteria. Ari is meant to be flaws and Hant is winning. A soul who has been successful to win over inner and outer flaws is Arihant. Body and five organs are inner flaws while  Kashay and mind are outer flaws. Arihant Bhagwan has  won over them. As a result they got complete correct knowledge and

vision making them free from love and hate. They are in purest state of soul hence they cannot tell lie or speak with selfishness or motive They care equally for all living souls and free from giving blessings or curses. One can test his selection of God on this criteria. They are neither creator or destroyer. Nether they help us to grow. All Arihants preach the same teachings and has no contradictions. Second one is selection of religion. First important checking if religion approve the

life after death or it is a current single birth ? If it is a only birth then there is no scope for soul or it's liberation. Once the physical body is vanish then the story of human life ends. They don't try to find out what is missing so that the body stops functioning. Such religions treat human as a king in all livings and permit them to kill or eat less powered souls. Feeling of live and let live is absolutely missing. All such religion looks to a living as object  as robot. Any correct & true

religion must not advocate any sins out of 18 sins for any of personal gain.Such selected religion must award any individual as per his own deeds and not out of wishes or mood of an God or superpower. Now

let us check who can be a correct Guru. A true Guru is being looked upon for guidance of Jinwani and ways for salvation. If he himself do not know the exact path then he will definitely cannot help his disciples. On the contrary he will increase life cycles  of life and deaths for both. Guru must be following his 5 Mahavrata which  he agreed to follow at time of Diksha. These are summary check list points.  With my Dikha and learning I concluded that only Jainism is worth to follow. one can have more study and free to conclude for his own conclusion based on truth" Gurueo concluded his lecture.
