Friends sharing herewith Guru Deo's lecture to know Jainism in a summary form. A non Jain person around age plus 60 stood up with due permission and started conversation. "Sir, so far I have studied all major religions on earth. I heard lectures and met various senior preachers. Now I wish to know features of Jainism. Please oblige me. Gurudeo started answer " Dear Hope you are at right and last stage of
finding truth. Jainism emphasis on individual conduct, caring for all living souls and non living items. It differentiate between soul and body.Main foundation of Jainism is "Karma doctrine" .Karma means own actions. As own actions give similar result back- Jainism makes an individual to be more careful for his actions and speech. Layers of Karma over soul decides destiny of an individual either good or bad. Even a bad destiny can be changed to better with cutting of Karmas.
The process is called as "Nirjara". It is a most scientific religion. It combines beautifully spirituality and physics. For non living one can vouch physics using tools of chemistry and mathematics. For current era it has 24 great souls called as " Thirthankaras " and thirty two "Aagams".You need to find time to read and understand them if you really want to know Jainism in a real sense. No where one can find a micro contradiction in teachings. One cannot imagine the infinite knowledge & vast vision hold by Kewali and Thirthankar Bhagwan.
With this they are aware of full and only truth told through Jinwani Most of other religions are filled with details of lives stories of it's leaders. In Jainism you can find around ten percent of lives coverage of leaders while 90 percent for conduct and care instructions for all living souls either human or others. It makes devotees alert for action
Till the conduct is pure and bad Karma's layers are cut down there is no salvation. Jain religion believes in series of lives and death till the particular soul is being liberated. Jainism bifurcate actions into good and bad termed as "Punya and Paap".For purification of soul any one can go for Samaiks Swadhay, Pratikaman Pachkhans, Upwas, Poshad with Aalochna and Khamatkhamna. To celebrate last death moments peacefully it suggests "Salenkhna and Santhara. Jainism is most clear in concept of Creation and Creator .This religion firmly believe that
universe to be without beginning and without end. Universe has it's presence in all the times be it past, present or future. It has not any creator. Jainism approves concept of God but they are best of souls filtered out of all good and bad layers of Karmas. They can be your mentor, teacher and guide to show you the path of salvation. But they are not superpower to grant wishes or please devotees. One has to get clear all of his Karmas to find eternal peace for ever by cutting seeds
of lives The core preaching of Jainism is non violence. Any life be it ant, egg, fish, hen elephant, plants and human is valuable and much precious. It ensures the basic principle of co existence with live and let live theory. One can see all types of battles and wars fought by the believer of other regions. I feel most sincerely that if earth has only one religion and that is Jainism, we all can feel the dream of peace in
reality. I can guarantee you that no where war can exist. Thus one can enjoy a real heaven on earth without going to heaven. It's 12 Mahavrata ensures correct character building for human being. If you look around the world at present loaded with nuclear weapons you can realize the essence of Jainism which boldly tells you that every one want to live and each of one has same feeling to enjoy life as you
wish It's "Anekantwad" theory ensures that you should respect opinion of others. It's Non Possession theory teaches that your needs are limited as such no point in running after wealth using all the ways of manipulation and cheating. Jainism beautifully explain the Bhavi soul's travel from four Gati to last destination
of "Siddhasheela.".Liberation of soul termed as Moksha is a noble concept of Jainism. Correct- knowledge, faith conduct and Tap are the four pillars of it. It's combination lead to last stage of pure joy i.e. salvation. Body less soul reside there permanently. The life death cycle closes there forever and ever.

Friends, with mix feelings of sorrow and pride I am sharing story of Jain Munishree Pujya Shalibhadraji Maharasaab. His journey from a rich diamond merchant from Jaipur to a Jain Santh is much inspiring and thrilling . Recently He completed His long 16 days Santhara in
Balotara (Raj) on 20th Nov.2025.He was born in 1947 in Alwar. He was a single brother of five sister. His real name is Prakashchandaji R. Sancheti. His diamond"s business was spread in India and abroad He got married in 1982 with Mrs. Shashi from Delhi. Once mother told him now time has come he should stop running after wealth and
think of religious activities. In Jaipur he got influenced by Pujyashri Jayantilalji Maharaj. Finally he took Diksha under Pujya Champalalji Gurudeo in Sept 94. When he took Diksha his left diamond business was worth crores of Rupees. We were fortunate to take his Darshan
at Jodhpur. He went all difficult "Tap" from Moun Vrata to tolerating body pains. एक विलक्षण जीवन का आरंभ
पूज्य श्री शालिभद्रजी मुनि महाराज का जन्म
12 अक्टूबर 1947, अलवर में
पिता श्री रतनचंदजी संचेती एवं माता श्रीमती चंपादेवी जी के घर हुआ।
पांच बहनों के बीच, एकमात्र पुत्र—
संसारिक नाम प्रकाश संचेती।
कम उम्र में ही यश की चाह लिये अलवर से जयपुर आये
और रत्न व्यवसाय प्रारंभ किया।
अत्यंत परिश्रम, बुद्धिमत्ता और सौम्यता से
आप कुछ ही वर्षों में
भारत ही नहीं, बल्कि 50 से अधिक देशों में
प्रसिद्ध जौहरी बन गए।
विशाल बंगले, विदेशी गाड़ियों का काफिला,
वैभव, सम्मान और राजसी जीवन—
संसारिक उपलब्धियों की कोई कमी नहीं थी।
वैराग्य का अनोखा मोड़ – एक माता के शब्दों ने बदल दिया जीवन
1982 में माता जी ने कहा कि
“पुत्र, अब बस !!!
धन तो बहुत कमा लिया…
अब कुछ धर्म कमाई कर।
साथ तो धर्म ही जाने वाला है।”
इन शब्दों ने भीतर ऐसा झंकार किया
कि आपका हृदय वैराग्य से भर गया।
धन-दौलत तुच्छ लगने लगी।
व्यवसाय सीमित किया।
और सजोड़े सहित आजीवन ब्रह्मचर्य का संकल्प लिया।
इसी वर्ष पू. जयंतिलालजी म.सा. के संसर्ग मिले।
धर्म की अलौकिक बातों ने जीवन की दिशा बदल दी।
और पत्नी श्रीमती शशिजी सहित
दीक्षा का संकल्प पक्का कर लिया।
दीक्षा तक 12 वर्षों की कठिन साधना
जयपुर से पैदल
ज्ञानगच्छाधिपति पूज्य श्री चंपालालजी म.सा. के पास
किशनगढ़ पहुँचे।
गुरुदेव ने कहा—
“तुमने वैभवपूर्ण जीवन जिया है,
संयम की कठिनाई को नहीं जानते।”
परंतु दोनों दम्पत्ति का वैराग्य
अटल और अटूट था।
12 वर्ष तक कठोर व्रतों, तप और संकल्पों में रहे।
और अंततः
8 सितम्बर 1994 को जयपुर में
अत्यंत सादगीपूर्ण दीक्षा संपन्न हुई।
संसारिक ‘प्रकाश’ अब बन चुके थे—
पूज्य श्री शालिभद्र मुनि महाराज
और धर्म-सहयोगिनी शशिजी बनीं—
पूज्य श्री शशिप्रभा जी म.सा.
एक अलौकिक तपस्वी – ‘सोना आग में तपकर शुद्ध होता है’
पूज्य श्री जी का पूरा जीवन
तप के 12 प्रकारों से दग्ध होकर
शुद्ध, विशुद्ध और पवित्र बना।
आपकी दिनचर्या—
तेले-तेले पारणा
आयंबिल
सुखी रोटी को पानी में घोलकर पारणा
दिनभर निराहार
तप में सूर्य आतापना
सर्दी में निर्वस्त्र
रात भर ध्यान, कयोत्सर्ग, मौन
अधिकांश जीवन मौन साधना
आपका साधना जीवन
आज के पंचमकाल में
अकल्पनीय तप का साक्षात उदाहरण है।
माता-पुत्र दोनों तपस्वी बने
आपकी कठोर साधना से प्रभावित होकर
आपकी पूज्य माताजी चंपादेवी जी ने भी
2 मार्च 2006 को दीक्षा ली
और दीक्षा के साथ ही
सलेखना-संथारा स्वीकार कर
24 दिन में समाधिमरण किया।
यह दृश्य स्वयं में धर्म का जीवित प्रमाण था।
बालोतरा में 2018 से अविरल साधना
2018 से बालोतरा के वर्धमान स्थानक में
आप निरंतर विराजमान रहे।
और 5 नवम्बर 2025 से
आपका संथारा—
शांत, गंभीर और पूर्ण जागरूकता से—
गतिमान था।

स्वयं बालोतरा में विराजमान होकर
इस पावन साधना के साक्षी बने।
‘अब जगत को नहीं देखना’ – नेत्रपट्टी धारणा
जब भक्तों का जनसैलाब उमड़ने लगा,
पूज्य श्री ने स्वयं अपनी आंखों पर पट्टी बांध ली और कहा—
Friends so far I have avoided to allow form of news bulletin for this Blog. No doubt for exceptional matter like objections on Diksha and prohibited foods put before Jain temples I covered them. When there is an attempts to harm Jain religion as a whole I feel it must be given platform looking to religion fever heated atmosphere in our country.
Jain community is a large hearted one marked by big charitable Trusts. Trusts are made to look after wishes of Donors through Trustees. Deed of Trust duly registered with Charity Commissioner and Various other Acts take care that Trustees are running the Trusts as per guidelines spelled out by Trustees. Most of time the functions of Trust carried out correctly by trustees of Temples, hospitals or the colleges with due care, Elections are being held ,Audit of accounts is being done and tax returns are duly filed. On few occasions Greed in
human surface and overtake good virtues of sacrifice and devotion. I cover herewith a sample case study of Pune related to HND hostel. It is run by a Trust. Trust was formed in 1960 with a larger vision to help poor Jain students from remote places to have shelter while they engage in study with a Jain temple for daily religious activities. It has 131000 sq. feet land of 3 acres situated at Model Colony. served with it's object for all those years as Pune is a major education Hub for
India. All metropolitan cities in India are facing scarcity for land or plot in central area of cities. The horrifying nexus between the local politicians and builder lobby is searching to grab land from weaker or greedy hands. In such a situation trustee is easy soft target hunted.
Readers can search the HND story on google. A positive side is that total Jain community shown unity and took out march of more than 10k people to office of Charity Commissioner asking how he can permit demolition of Temple and student's Hostel. He brought it on record that interested trustee hide such things on paper. Now who are the real culprits will be out soon. A big thanks to Jain monks who
lead the masses to protest against grab. The status not yetrestored. Guru Maharaj given ultimatum of 1st November 2025 for it. As of today update builder has agreed to execute a cancellation deed If one study this case closely he will be surprised to see quick, super fastest action behind curtain in shortest time. Now with shortage of land Redevelopment plans are becoming the rule of day. This story sends
a alarming bell to community to be alert for Jain Trust property. I am so manty irregularities of many Trusts known to me. For many years accounts are incomplete. Same person is carrying on Chairmanship for years as nobody is ready to take responsibility. This aloofness is not in any interest for community. Public pressure at large may be successful to reclaim HND hostel. But just keep eye open as Greed of politicians and their Godfathers know no boundary. It can strike back anytime when they discover community is sleeping and have a
ignore attitude. Young generation must carry the legacy of Bhagwan intact for years to come. Mind well the time had entered in a dark zone and we are walking through most difficult time so better to unite and stay safe ignoring our pretty differences. Unity can offer us
the much needed strength. Take care to see that your smallest action or word is not against entire Jain religion as a whole in India or out of India. We must decide to face all odds in a non violent manner but in a collective manner. Only then we can keep safe our heritage. The Trustees need to be more vigilant and shall adopt new techniques.
Must be more computer savvy and amend the conservative working style. Need not to go for cost cutting and cost saving for expenses all the times. Some administration and legal expenses serve as security check. Hope we will smell future danger and act wisely and timely.
