JAINISM -OLD AGE HOMES--A CURSE------???

Jainism tells-- we are not capable to repay the debt of three persons during entire our life time. They are Mother, Father and Teacher.
This is more than truth because what ever we are today that is result  of their efforts and countless sacrifices for our up bringing by them.

With modern cultural back ground the flourishing concept of old age homes in India is much disturbing. Once the son gets married then home scene gets radical changes. Either the new groom try to take control of house or parent try to keep her under control. One can not point out exactly who is to be blamed for clash & future divisions.

Slowly the clashes begin to grow, in a joint family any one particular member may want to divide care taking responsibility of parents or
to share equally among brothers but may not be responded by others.
Due to generation gap, both refuses to accept change in view point of

each other. The old age factor also makes a person unreasonable in expectations. If all the above points not resolved amicably the results ends into finding shelter in old homes. It may disturb both the parties involved. Leaving  own home can be very painful anyone. In old
age, organs fails to give desired results, it gave birth to frustration.

The situation is very tragic. No doubt such homes are doing all the best they can do and provide. But the love  and affections parents dreamed from children is surely missing. If love by friends and care taker was enough, then people may not have felt need of own home. Emotional attachment is  beyond of wordy definitions in all cases.
That is the reason we want to leave five star hotel's stay, once we get

finished our work. So just do not run from your moral duty and see that parents are with you till their last breathe. They may not forever. 
One must avoid taking benefit of them in old age. I know someone, mothers are asked to visit son for delivery of daughter in law or to arrange for food if son is posted at different location. Mother will never refuse but remember age requires relaxation and she deserves it since long. We must respect the reality and care for her feelings.

Entry in old age homes may be justified only if parents are too unfortunate not to have any heir. In other cases, one must fight with every reason causing  partition. One need to ensure happy parents.

My father was matriculate and mother was studied only first or max.

second class. In traditional sense. they were not much literate. But I  know within my heart that no team of best professors from best,top University of world can teach me meaning of life better than them.

Now they both have left for their heavenly abode  and I can not do any thing but to salute to their spirit and virtues. They brought me up so preciously ,that I felt that I am the only child on earth. It can be more or less same story for majority of us, we know real value only after patent leave us permanently. Timely care for them is necessary

I can not put end to this blog without quote from my favorite poet from Marathi Shri. Madhav Julian which says------"Swami Thini Jagacha Aai vina Bhikari" means a lord of three Universe is equal to a beggar in absence of parents.Marathi poem runs as---.

One can ask how this blog is related to salvation. To satisfy it, just know that we can not put end to cycles of life and death until we repay all personal debts of  all individuals- we meet in our journey.
Thus if possible just give a thought to if  one's parents are no more see if you can adopt other who live near by you. Thus one can get chance to serve humanity and build good Karma.

PREGANCY AND JAINISM---PART 1--ABORTION---A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY-----------!!!

In Bhagawati Sutra Bhagwan Mahaveerswami has explained birth of a child. To summaries it, soul enters the uterus of a mother matching her Leshya (sentiments or emotions).In approximate 9.25 months
the baby remains in womb of mother. With blood of mother, her intake and semen of father the baby soul completes six Pryayapties. 
 ( stages)- they are food, body, organs, breathing, language and mind.

Two inter connected tubes of mother and child act as a supply chain. Genes of father and mother are used to build body, bones ,nail ,hair, blood and others part of human body. Only male semen and martial relations can not assure birth of a child. This is a reason why a good healthy couple may not have child for a long time. Matching Leshya
 and pre-existed relation or debt on each others are must in selection.

The basic need is that, particular mother must be selected as arrival point by the soul with reference to related relations and obligations of previous life of both in given situation. Thus less fortunate couple go for artificial ways adoption, sperm bank, supererogation etc.

Abortion is undertaken for various reasons like ill-legal relationship, social fear out of it, wish to have boy child etc. In India it is a gender discrimination psychology, attaching more importance to baby boy. It start with sex determination test which is now legally banned. In western countries the gender bias is missing due to literacy and gender equality. In any case abortion means killing of a soul having five organs. As per Jainism which advocates even not to kill an ant, it is a big crime. Hence we must concentrate this issue to stop cruelty.

If above image quote for India is true then it is much shocking and disturbing for the country  where great souls like Bhagwan Mahveera taken birth. If a Jain couple goes for it without medical emergency advised by doctors ,it is most high grade sin since it is committed even knowing Jain philosophy of non-violence of Mahaveerswami.

Let us take oath not to do such crime in entire life including advice and /or consent, Welcome birth of a girl child as a blessing and gift of our good deeds. After all the parents are acting only as a tool to allow soul to come to this new world. We shall not act as a barrier. 

   

 I know one Jain family in village. The in laws and husband were very fond of boy child. Each time of pregnancy, family opted  for abortion. The couple had 3 daughters. With the sorrow, the husband took shelter to alcohol and died of liver complications. The family regretted the whole story but are unable to restore the status. The daughters are growing up without love and care of father, Thus a man made tragedy can be avoided. It is just a sample known case.

It is surprising how a lady bows down to family pressure and go for such inhuman things---- ? Just note it may be your convenience for going for abortion, may or may not be punishable by law of a given particular country but for Jainism it is just a murder and all involved. They all are committing Nikachit means unchangeable  Karmas and

have to face punishment from departed soul in same or severe  manner. Please avoid it whatever may be the reason or circumstance

People who go for eggs to make omelets, can  give it a logical rethinking. Is it nothing but abortion materiel of a hen waiting to take birth ? If it is so, how can it be a vegetarian food ? certainly never.   

Let us take oath not to be a part of such crime. After all, mother is a

ocean of love and affection so love the life of incoming baby. Even 

in a wildest dream of one never  ever think  of a slight harm to her.

JAINISM-ARJUNMALI -FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT----!!!

In my school days ,we all students used to gather in school ground and sung one Sanskrit prayer before starting of school hours. Those words are still fresh in mind which says------"Tamso ma Jtotiray Gamay,Mrityo Ma Amrutam gamay--------" means -O-! Lord please take me, from darkness to light and from death to eternity.

I used to wonder, is it really possible ? In eight days of Paryusan, I happened to hear Antagarasutra .I came to know story of Arjunmali told by Bhagwan Mahveer to Jambuswami.. It gave the message to me that ,it is possible. Let us have look at this interesting story.

In Rajgriha city, one gardener called Arjunmali was living happily with his wife Bandumati. He was follower of a Yaksha with name Mudagarpani. Once  six lusty men raped his wife. Arjun prayed to Yaksha for help .Yaksha possessed Arjun and killed the six men and his wife. Out of anger now Arjun was killing 7 persons per day. No one was dared to enter the forest with his terror for safety of lives.
Once a Shravak called Sudarshan Seth, on his way to meet Mahveer Bhagwan happened to meet Arjun. Arjun tried to kill Seth also. Seth

took Santhara and was ready to face death. Arjun could not kill him. Was very much surprised for his courage and asked him the reason for such outstanding courage. On brief by Seth the Arjun came to know the greatness of teachings of Pujya Bhagwan Mahaveerswami.
He met Bhagwan, regretted for his killings and expressed desire to purify his soul by taking Diksha.He became Jain Muni Arjunmali. 

Now the monk Arjunmali wonder on streets of Rajgruhnagar to get food. People hated him, beat him and abused him since, he was killer of their relatives. But the monk took all such bad things in positive way since anger of people were justified. For six months he was just facing such severe punishment. He suffered in silence. It helped him a lot to clear  his all negative Karmas in merely six months.

 Without uttering a single word he underwent through all anger and taken self imposed punishment. At last with Santhara, the Muni got salvation. That is surprising Jainism also assures salvation of a bad serial killer There can not be any doubt in this story since it was told by  Mahaveerswami himself through Aagam named " Antagarsutra."

In moment of sorrow, disappointments, greed---- etc. we turn to path of sins like drink, non-vegetarian, gambling, cruelty. fraud and so on. But if we realize and with regret, the deeds and again decide to walk on right path still we can purify our soul. Thus there is never late to give up bad things and again walk on right path with good deeds and pure thoughts. One can always start new innings leaving past behind.

Thus do not think that people will not forgive, just give it a try and see the transformation Jainism can offer to you. With prayer, regret and determination one can always purify soul. A sinner can be turned into a saint if polished by Jainism,

JAINISM --FEATURES OF SIDDHABHAGWAN----------!!!

" Shudda, Buddha, Aviruddha, Anaadi Annat hai,
      Jagat Shiromani,Siddha Sada Jayawant Hai-------".

 This is the short prayer for Siddha Bhagvan.-------------------!!!.

The body less pure soul is residing at top of universe in the top place called Siddhashila. Their features are given in " Pratikaman "Path known as Panch Padonki Vandana. It says------ "Jaha Jamna Nahi
,Jara Nahi,Maran Nahi, Bhay Nahi,Rog Nahi,shok nahi,dukkha Nahi,Daridrya Nahi,Karma Nahi,Kaya Nahi,Moha Nahi,Maya Nahi,Chakar Nahi,Thakar Nahi,bhukh nahi.trishna nahi,Jyoat Me Jyoat Virajman Hai."Eise Siddha Bhagwan Ko Vandana--".
Every feature is explained by absence status. For any Yes- there is always a limit of measurement but No is Infinite. It means they are totally free from birth, mental agony. death, fear, diseases. sorrows ,

pain, poorness ,karma ,body, greed, cheating, employee, employer,
hunger, greed ,all in a  single form of invisible pure light forever.

Souls attaining salvation reach the Siddhashila with in fractions of seconds. Such noble souls, cut all layers of good and bad deeds. As a result ,the soul gets lighter weight. As we know any lighter substance

always flies in upward direction like smoke. They go there in straight line known as Rujugati. Others may take two to 4 turning Gati known as Wakragati for different destinations in 4 Gati. This unique

place is beyond any travel tools .But soul of 14th Gun Stana reaches

-there in fraction of seconds. The place is above Sun. Moon. all the

planets ,Nakshatra and all Devloga.It is most peaceful & calm place. 

The Siddhasheela is more bright than white gold or platinum, The area is 45 lac Yojan equal to area of human area on surface of this Ratnaprabha Prithvi known as Eshitapagbhara Prithvi. Hence from every part of this earth soul becoming Siddha Bhagwan and getting Moksha. Thus there exist no one particular point of worshiping as a Thirth from where souls got salvation. Every human area is capable to offer salvation provided all Karma ,sins and Punya got nullified.
eight virtues are obtained by Siddha by nullifying 8 Karma as follow.

With salvation a  soul gets it's original pure status with making eight Karmas nil for ever. Siddha Bhagwan gets 8 positive features of soul namely-infinite knowledge, infinite faith, permanent happiness. free from affection and hate, never ending immortal status of life, no form of body, neither heavy nor light weight ( Aguru- Laghu ) and infinite power of soul .These are their eight virtues. Out of EIGHT components of soul, Siddha Bhagwan with 3 components reside at
top for ever. Infinite correct knowledge and faith along with Upayog are these 3 souls Siddha Bhagwan possesses for ever.

Over the infinite period of past infinite number of souls has obtained salvation and reached at this top place in universe as Siddhasheela.
In living soul category, highest number is of plants termed as (Vanaspatikaay) and second largest category is of Siddhabhagwan.

There are 14 types of Siddha based on circumstances of becoming Siddha-From Thirthsiddha to Aneka-Siddha. But once they become Siddha ,all become same barring any slightest minute difference of time. After obtaining Kevaldyana Kevali Bhagwan may form Thirth or may not form it. Who form Thirtha, they are know as Thirthankar. They are  limited in numbers minimum 20 maximum 170. Kevali Bhagwan number is minimum two crores and maximum nine crores. Currently souls getting salvation from Mahavedeha Khetra. Kewali Bhagwan while getting salvation ,leave their 

current dead body at last place of breathing. Their soul particles gets standing shape and height equal to 2/3 portion of their dead body.
In same  standing form all" Aatma-Pradesh" reside at top forever.

Let us dream for the most happy place in Universe- Once soul reach there, it need not to take birth any time there after. No body ,only crystal  clear and pure soul  which  can see and know all things for all the 3 period. The happiness enjoyed by Siddha is beyond words. Following image try to summarize it.
