JAINISM-----LIFE FIXATION PROCESS----AAYUSHYABANDH---------!!!

Friends herewith- I share notes from Gurudeo's lecture around last Diwali from my diary. Gurudeo was covering "Uttaradhayansutra" to mark celebration of "Veernirwan".This particular lecture was based on 33rd chapter of it named as "Karmaprakriti". As it is of immense good for our understanding of life fixation process, I share it for blog readers. "Devanupriya, some time ago  on "Sawastariday".I have explained you the process of Aayushyabandha in six stages mostly

on Bhadrapad Sudi Panchmi for majority of living souls. For all of us it may not happen in same "Sawastari" but may happen on the different Sawastari day of different years as per current life term.6 stages are Jaati, Gati, age, structure, Pradesh and Anubhag. Last two  are meant - how Karmas will get unfold and their severity to offer suffering and joy. All  six stages completes  fixation of next life. 

For most of us it is a myth or wrong understanding that it involves a single day conduct. Just remember for ever that each living soul is accumulating particles of "Aayushya Karma" each moment. On a given "Sawastari" day the Aayushyabandh" process give such all accumulation a concrete shape. Thus your one day's good Karmas

cannot give a good next life term. Bhagwan Mahaveer swamiji has explained various conduct that results in life  fixation of next life. these conduct, I will brief you today. Can refer "Uttaradhyansutra".A soul gets matching circumstances on that particular day of Sawastari.

1.-Hell- There are 4 conducts that attract hell life fixation. They are Mahaaranbh, Mahaparigraha, Panchendriya killing and Kunimahar. Maharanbh is killing living soul for living or business. Parigraha is possession beyond normal needs, Kunimahar refer food from killing of living animals, non vegetarian food, drinks and eating eggs. one can refer 15 Karmadaan  for Mahaarabh  caused by business or job.

2.Animals plant- Tiryanch - category cover following four  reasons. They are-Maya, Nikruti( lowest conduct),speaking lie or hiding truth wrong measurements and mixing lower grade material to quality.A  soul may be carrying 2 personalities. Inside may have bad intention   3.-Human being- Bhadra (gentleman conduct),Vinit ( respectful ),a soul who carries pity and compassion for others in it's heart. Lastly a soul which is free from jealousy and hate attracts human life fixing.

4.-Heavenly God.-Sarag Sanyam (Staying away from sins),Soul taking Pachkan (vow to restrict consumption),Akam- Nirjara( Doing Nirjara without any willingness.)Without knowing sufferings the body and keeping fast without intentions to get salvation. Monk,Jain Shrawak with Pachkahn can get this place as per conduct. Total 12

Hopefully this august gatherings can grasp Bhagwan's message and care about each action of mind, speech and body. As Veernirwan is knocking the door shortly decide to read at least Hindi meaning of "Uttaradyansutra. Bhagwan explained power of Karma. Karma can only make you feel happy or face sufferings. Just look into your life  and at least give up Hell and Tirayanch conduct Gurudeo concluded.

JAINISM----CHANGES NEEDED FROM PANDEMIC------!!!

Friends, few of my relatives found positive from Corona. I could not meet them due to their isolation and personal safety reasons. But I used  talk to them, once they felt some relief. Such talk increased my faith in Jainism and it's living style. Herewith, I try to pen down the talk summary. Hopefully it will make readers to think future living. One must appreciate even negative circumstances can offer good lessons if taken in right perceptive and spirit. Let us search positives of this trauma that is haunting human race all over entire world. Pain the families faced is beyond words. In most cases full family got infected as the virus entered community transmission phase. Their sufferings and dependence on society can only be imagined by us.

 The basic "Bhavna" of Jainism that soul comes alone and goes alone is very much true. In the room where patient is made to quarantine, no body dares to enter. Even the disposal and rituals of dead body become a big issue. Jainism correctly say soul is the only and only friend of herself. Worshipping places like Thirth ,Temple. Sthanak, Upashray. Gurudeo cannot be available all the times. We generally defer our religious study, learning and activities to our later stage of 

old age. There is no guarantee for any life and it is too uncertain whether one will ever reach that stage. Reading and Swadhya of all Aagams can be with us till the last birth. It needs only availability of books. It is comparatively easy. Hopefully we start working on it. Now let us inspect our behavior. Infection in lower income group

may be justified as they have to move to keep the kitchen fire going on. But in case of most cases of upper class infection, they are on account of parties, social gatherings and opening of working places for not to miss revenue targets. The greed of wealth played a major

role in spreading the infection. No doubt, there are few genuine cases where attendance becomes a must out of duty like doctors, nurses and pharmacist. Even some social workers serving meals and other necessities got affected. That can be sheer bad luck and destiny. In most other cases it was negligence to observe social distancing. The

root cause of this pandemic seems to be eating living birds to fulfill the taste of mouth and stomach. Unless, we decide to ban  all food other than vegetarian food, the havoc will be unavoidable. One may learn or may not learn from mistakes. But it for sure entire world has to pay cost of mistakes. One also can observe that for living very few things are needed. All extravagance is a show business. Old people were much happy than us even when they lived simple life. Easy

money made all of us victim of status symbol. Exhibiting wealth and money power force us to live a wild life dominated by social evils. Let our next generation be taught to have simple living and more God fearing. It can put break on bad habits and having healthy life style. Such change if effected can be a blessing in long, I feel.The

faith in Mahaveer Bhagwan can definitely source of positive energy.

JAINISM--A RARE JAIN BIRTH OPPORTUNITY-------------!!!.

Friends as of every one of you, the pandemic given comparatively more free time to me. I utilize it more for reading about human life.
A small paragraph cached my eyes and made me to think about it.
Herewith I share same with you. Human nature is mostly marked by unsatisfied nature. We do not value things we get- naturally. We do
not care for immense utility life gets from air, water, sun and soil.
Similarly, we seldom know value of life to born as a human. If as a
Human we get birth in Jain legacy nothing can be as precious as it .If by chance if it is in India like Aarya country ,it can be a best destiny.

Let me justify content based on above paragraph. I could not verify
the figures of it. Still, I quote it for to stimulate thinking by readers.
The writer gave the classification of total births in universe. He says
In a each second ,100 billions soul takes birth in universe. Out of it
largest birth portion belongs to animals and plants ( Tiryanchgati ).
Their share amounts to 99 billions in above. In the residual balance
of 1 billion,99 cores souls take birth in Heaven or Deologa. In the
last 1 crore births- 99 lac soul take birth in hell. Now counting is
limited to only 1 lac births. Out of it 99000 souls find birth in tiny
category of "Samuchhimjiva" like mosquitoes. Now in last 1000

births as Human,900 births happens in Anaryadesh means countries
where no Jainism is followed as religion .Jain food and Jain monks
are rare .In 100 births in Aaryadesh 99 souls take birth in other than
Jain religion. Only single soul is fortunate enough to get the unique
Jain religion. From other religions some pure souls with study may
decide to follow life style similar to Jainism. The figures may be
estimated but the principles are matching. As plants and animals are largest  category followed by heaven, hell and human.

The purpose of this blog is not to boast any one particular religion.
It is to highlight the faith which cares for human life. We have seen
how difficult to get a a birth in human race .For such a born, to take
care for his life, freedom and liberty is equally important. Hope now
we all  thanks our Karmas or good deeds which gave us a chance
to born as a human in India. Let us make event more meaningful. Let

us repeat the deeds and take a new chance to born in Mahavideha
Kshetra as Jain and surrender to Arihant Bhagwan so as to get the
salvation or Moksha as soon as possible. Salvation is the only one
remedy which can prevent us visiting 84 millions places of births.
One may be Jain by his deeds not necessarily Jain by birth only.

Living with Jain value is more important. Birth in a Jain family do
not give a birth right to get Jain religion automatically in next life
cycles. In current birth how one use the life is more important. Hope

my fellow brothers and sisters note it and work hard for salvation.
Let us follow Jainism with real term as meant by Mahaveerswami.
Let this auspicious Manglik gave us the power to use life wisely.

JAINISM-- A MUST FOR SHRAWAK-----KHAMAT-KHAMNA AND AALOCHANA------!!!.

Friends, hopefully you all have covered current Paryushan to it's full in spite of all odds. Please allow me few minutes before I present the captioned subject. I thanks all readers for their support for my Blog
viewers crossed 10000 mark on auspicious day of Sawastari 23/08.
Reader's faith and appreciation of Jinwani give me strength to add
newer things from ocean of Mahaveerwani. A big Thanks to all.

 Herewith I share my noting from my diary of Gurudeo's lectures.
" Devanupriya today I will discuss with you two important tools.
Many of you might be aware of them. The two tools are a best way
to reduce our hard feelings and negative Karmas. On Sawastari day
we all offer our apologies for misconduct or misdeeds towards all
living souls. It is called "Khamatkhamna" which means I seek your
forgiveness for mistakes committed by me knowingly or otherwise.
It brings simplicity to our soul and reduce Kashaya and it's burden.
If the victim is a sensitive soul, he can be put at more and rare peace
Only a simple soul is not ashamed to ask for apology. Similarly one
needs a large heart and logical thinking power to introspect actions.
Human mind is so extra workaholic that we keep up hate. allergy
for others not in our touch. This can be avoided by Khamtkhamna. 

Second is Alochana. It means accepting sins and wrong action by
own soul. In Jain culture it a tradition to recite Alochana on every
quarterly on Pakkhi. On a Sawastari day it is a custom to read the
Aalayana around 2pm. You will now be provided a small booklet to

go through"Brihataaloyana" by Shrawak Shri Lalji Ranjitsihaji. He
has done a very brilliant job by composing Jain philosophy with all
coverage of sins in a lucid and simple language. It is a good book to
impart high moral values in members of family. One must try it.

It is an important book which can be used in Jain Paath-Shala to
impart moral training to kids. It contains high moral values Dhohas
in simple and easy language, I advice to Shravaks to read at each
Pakkhi Pratikaman in to start with. I strongly believe that if Jain
devotees apply the tool of forgiveness ,so many litigation can be

settled out of courts. It can save the men hours, agony and expenses
of advocates and others. Same is case with "Aalochana".A devotee
if doing it sincerely and getting his mistakes corrected can make his soul light which can put him again on Moksha Marg. Just spare few minutes to go through book" Gurudeo concluded his lecture.

JAINISM------- WALKING ON MOKSHA-MARG------------!!!.

Friends,as day of current"Sawastari" is approaching fast herewith I
present Gurudeo lecture from my diary delivered on last Sawastary.
"Devanupriya, Today is most awaited day for we as devotees of shri
Bhagwan Mahaveer. In spiritual world with Jain religion, there are
so many other religions.Most of  other religions teaches different  ways to worship God. Very few teach the road to get salvation. The

main reason for such deviation can be attributed to perceptions and
functions of God in those religions. Majority of religion approve the
idea of God as Master running the show .Jainism approve God as a
guide and teacher to teach a soul how to get liberated, so the soul
can become God in form of Kewali,Arihant and lastly Siddha.They
as a "Vitraag" tells only ultimate truth for salvation of living souls.

When one tries to compare different religions with Jainism, he can
notice that other regions are worshiping God and seeking blessings
of him to remove individual sorrows and offer happiness. The main
difference of Jainism is emphasis on human efforts. Jainism believes
that if a soul starve hard to clear his sins and negative Karmas, he
can easily remove his sufferings. The main reason of human sorrow
is taking birth. If seeds of birth are being burnt, there will be no need
to take birth and go through cycles of pain and sorrows. The main
architect of life is soul itself. There is no need to knock the doors of
God or others to have eternal peace and happiness for ever.Soul is
too powerful need no mercy of any nature from any authority,

Jainism has advocated to live life based on four pillars. The pillars
formed by Samyag (correct being true)Dyan, Darshan and Charitya.
One can get trained in it's correct combination and guidance from
Aagams or Jinwani. Darshan means way to look at things.It is also
one's perception how it thinks about components of universe, Tap is
part of Charitya, hence not quoted separately as a forth pillar. 

Dear Shrawaks, you are semi fortunate to get Jain religion since the
beginning of current life. It saved the time of finding true religion.
One can be real fortunate if can study Aagam and hear Jinwani.
Hopefully most of you got correct Suguru to tell you correct and
true Jinwani. Take care to avoid falling into wrong hands so it can
not waste your being Jain. To utilize best of your potential, this is the
basic criteria to select right religion,right Guru and right Bhagwan.

Now we all Jain are have been gifted by Jinwani's blessings golden
and best period of Chaturmas, Paryushan and Sawastari. Thankfully
Bhagwan Mahveerswami introduced us to this period of 4 months.
The purpose behind Paryushan is to introduce Jainism to our kids.
I am sure you all will fully utilized it. Mind well Bhagwan can only show you road,you have to walk on it." Gurudeo concluded lecture.

JAINISM-IMPORTANCE OF PARYUSHAN-2020-------------!!.

Friends,in earlier blog I have shared time frame for Chaturmas -20.
Here with I share motivational appeal from Gurudeo from my last
year diary."Devanupriya 8 days most auspicious period for Jain is
going to start from 16/08 2020 to 23/08/2020.Some branches may
have date different by one day due to guiding Panchang. Everyone 
is free to follow it as per related branch, Here one need to check if
it ends on "Bhadrapada Panchmi" at time of evening Pratikaman.

 I wish to emphasis one main point. All human whether he is Bhavi 
or Abhavi,Mityhadrishti or Samyagdrishti can do work of "Punya".
But only souls with Samyagdrishti can do "Dharma".Punya cannot
get you salvation as Punya do not cut negative Karmas. Punya can
only get you favorable conditions of living and doing "Dharma".It
is only "Nirjara" means cutting of all" Paap" by doing Dharma can give you salvation.Doing Dharma is nothing but engaging oneself
in Samaik, Pratikaman ,Swadhay ,fast and Pachkkhan to keep away
from sins. Paryushan gives a golden opportunity of doing Dharma.
Fast and Swadhay are  the major tools to burn the negativity and sins attached to soul. Paryushan is the opportunity which offer it.

  In view of major chance of "Aayushbandha" or fixation of next
life, Bhagwan and senior Aacharyaji have stressed the importance
of "Sawastari " day. In period of total 8 days first 7 days are meant
for preparation of soul for good results. On Sawastari day as per the
individual sentiments or Bhavna ,the next life fixation get shape in
6 ways. They are-Jaati, Gati. period of living,structure of individual
Pradesh and Anubhag ( It means rise of Karma and it's severity).

Due to coverage of Kashay and sins our souls has lost it's original
nature. This 8 days period is of return from "Vibhav" to original
"Swabhav". Dyan,Darshan and Upyog are original virtues of soul.
Same is now virtues of infinite Siddha Bhagwan. Many of us do not
find reasonable time during year due to our various engagements.
We work hard for current living. In the process we forget to care for

soul. We fail to accumulate good deeds, Nirjara and cutting of bad
Karma. As a result the carry forward of Karman body failed to have
sufficient carry over. Hopefully you will all do best this Paryushan"
Gurudeo concluded. Friends at least mark 23/08/2020 as reserved
for Dharma Aaradhana to add positive Dharma to our souls..

JAINISM--HOW TO REDUCE BIRTH CYCLES--!!!.

Friends,I am sure most of you started reading "Uttaradhaynasutra ".
Unless one start it -reaching last 36th chapter on "Pratipada day" to
express gratitude to Bhagwan Mahaveer can be difficult, In last lines before getting salvation having two days fast at holy Pawapuri city
Mahaveerswami shared crucial step to limit domestic lives in Sutra.
Related lecture of Gurudeo is being shared herewith for blog readers.

By this time we knew the prior six conditions to get salvation. They
are-Bhavi soul, Samyagdrashti,Paritta Sansari, Sulabh Bodhi, Souls
who are Aaradhak (Jinwachan obedient and Charim (last birth).The
3rd condition is Paritta Sansari. Paritta means who has touched the
imaginary line beyond which he will not commit new life cycles by own conduct and Nirjara. Guredeo asked us to write those two lines.

"Jinvayane Anuratta, Jinvayanam,Je Karenti Bhaven--------II.
  Amala, Asankilitta, Te Honti  Paritta Sansari------------------II."

( Hindi translate -Wah atma jo Jinvachan mein anurakta hai . Jo bhavpurvak  Jinvachan palta hai, wah nirmal saral atma sansar parimit karta hai "). Gurudeo  gave all devotees a break of ten
minutes gap to us learn the  lines of 266/36 of Uttaradhyanasutra.
Amala means dust free-Nirmal. Asankitta is simple -free of Kashay. 
Meaning of it covers qualities needed to limit domestic life cycles.
Once the soul become Paritta, he become Sulabh bodhi. It means he
get Jinwani understanding easily. It helps him to be "Aardhak".It
means his all life actions are as per Jinwani. All leads him to be
Charim. Charim means soul taking last birth through human life.

 After it he shared meaning or ways to cut off life cycles as follow.
 Bhagwan informed three sign of devotees who can be able to do it.
1.-Which ever soul loves Jinwani by heart deeply.
2.-Who ever soul perform activities matching to Jinwani faithfully
3.-Who ever is free from wrong faith, love and hate.
A soul can touch all steps serially. It indirectly means than unless one
touched 2nd step of "Samyagdrishti" limiting births is impossible.

In the same chapter at last line--- 273/36 Bhagwan has warned his
followers to avoid five types of death which can lead to numerous
life and death cycles. Those deaths are by  use of weapon ,poison,
setting blaze, drowning in water, Anachar ( non desired acts) with
unwarranted items. Bhagwan has called this death "Balmaran".
Hopefully one gets motivated to go for "Uttaradhyana" reading. We
have another reading waiting shortly. It is "Antagarhasutra".For 8
days of "Paryushan" each one has to read it. Here we can meet so
many noble souls-Gajasukumalji, Arjunmali. Eivantamini and so
many others who obtained salvation in immediate past. Please do not miss the showers of great "Jinwani" as we all aim to reduce cycles.
