JAINISM--EVANTAMUNI-THE KID WHO GOT SALVATION-------!!!

Herewith, I try to cover story by Gurudeo told in post Chaturmas kid's camp. The session started with favorite Stavan of Gurudeo-
"Arihantoki Raah Ho, Siddhomein Niwas Ho,"
Bhave Eisi Bhavna,Guru Ke Saath Pravas (travel) Ho". At the end of poem. with due permission a kid around age 10 years asked
Gurudeo, the prescribed minimum age to become Jain monk.
Looking to the kid with delight, Gurudeo told the  minimum age as
per "Vyavharsutra" to be completed 09 years. Gurudeo further added that today, he will share story of Evantamuni or Atimuktak Kumar
from era of Mahaveerswami Bhagwan based on 15th and  05/04th
chapters of "Antagarahasutra and Bhagwatisutra. The story goes as-

In Polaspur city King Vijay was ruling the kingdom with queen
Shridevi. The couple was fortunate to have a pure soul named as
Aatimuktakkumar. He kid entered in his sixth year of was and was
playing on ground. Suddenly he saw Gurugautamswami, who was
searching for food. The kid cached his finger and brought him to his
house and completed his food requirements. While dropping him,
he asked Guatamswami to allow him meeting with Mahaveerswami

The kid met Bhagwan. He was very much impressed with Bhagwan's
teachings. The kid expressed his desire to go for Diksha to become a
Jain monk. After much perusal he could obtain parent's permission.
Now Aatimuktakkumar became Evantamuni, the smallest Sadhuji of
of Bhagwan Mahaveerswami. He is also the smallest to get Moksh.
Once in rainy season. the little monk went outside for urinal with his
pots. On the way, he could not resist, temptation of childhood. He sat
down near a pond of water and started playing in water with pot.
With tremendous joy, the kid started to sing a song spontaneously.
"Meri Naav Tiri,Meri Naav Tiri (floated)."

Some senior monks ,saw the incidence and felt sorry for the kid's
playing with water as it is a breach of non violence vow. They
reported it to Mahaveerswami. Bhagwan warned them, not to insult
the kid monk as it was his last birth as human. Soon the kid with pure soul will achieve salvation and go for Moksha prior to them and Bhagwan. By the song ,he meant his soul getting destination.
The monks went back and made apologies to Evantamuniji. Finally
the Muni got Santhara and salvation on  the Vipulgiri mountains.
So dear kids, age does not matter much. The feelings of soul is of
almost importance "Gurudeo concluded. In the end Gurudeo sung a
very touching Stavan in praise of  Pujya Evantamuni ,it goes like---.

" Evanta Munivaar, Naav Tirayee, Bahta Neermein."

JAI JINENDRA-------!!!---------JAI MAHAVVER--------------!!!.
