JAINISM--UNIVERSE IN TOTO-------------!!!--PART--------2.

Dear Friends, as promised in blog number 152 let me present second part of this subject. We have studied total living souls categories. In current blog we will cover total non living ( lifeless) categories. It will complete total universe study for us. Study is based on Jinwani.
It is based on lectures of Gurudeo attended by me before some time back which covered Uttaradhyansutra's 36 chapter and 12/05 chapter of Bhagwatisutra. Reference to original can be more useful to grasp. With these two Blogs our  study for total universe will be complete.

By the time we are clear that a soul gives any living thing three special features- Knowledge, Faith and conscious activity which is
 i.e.(Dyan, Darshan and Upyoga).(It may be right or wrong). Thus ranging from an ant to Siddha Bhagwan all souls compulsorily have minimum those three feature for  inclusion in living soul category.
Thus one can note a plant allow it's root to go deep in ground to search for water. It means it is doing activity with knowledge that water is necessary for living. Absence of all those feature make element lifeless or non-living or Ajeeva category. That is the main difference in dead body and living one.

A-Invisible------------------- 030

A-Invisible---- Part ==30= Those categories could not be seen by  any means, eyes or special telescope but without it there cannot be operations going on for Universe. Only Kevali Bhagwan can see it.
 Basics are  four. It's minute details take the total to 30.
1-Dharmastikaay-(Ether)-It causes motion. Without this substance wave of sound, picture, air light could not travel or transmitted from one point to other point================== 3 sub sections.
2-Adharmastikaay-------It allows rest. Otherwise things in motion could not stop.== ======================3 sub sections.
 3-Aakashtikaa------- (Space)-It offers space to  stay= 3 sections.
Where we live is known as Lokaash. It has all  6 substances. Where it ends, there is only sky known as Aalok. It is bigger than our Lokaash. In absence of Dharmastikaay Siddha Bhagwan cannot go beyond  last point of this universe known as Siddhasheela.

4-Kaal------------(Period/Time).============1 section. It causes changes or transformation Thus child getting older. Total======10.
Above referred 3 sections means Skhandh (Whole),Skhandhdesh (small part) and Skandhpradesha (part less part  termed as atom. For it no further division  is possible.)

There are further 20 categories of invisible when above 4 basics are multiplied  by 5 characteristics of substance, area, period, feature and virtues (Dravya, Shketra. Kaal, Bhav and Guna).
B-Visible Part= 530.  This category is based on following mix.
1-5= colors=black, blue. red. yellow and white.= multiplied by 20- combination of remaining 4=======================100.
2-2=Smell=fragrance and odor.=multiplied by 23-========046.
3-5=Taste=spicy, bitter, pungent sour and sweet.=x 20-=====100.
4-8-Touch=rough, soft, heavy, light, cold. hot .oily, hard 23 x 8=184.
5-5= Shape=round. triangle, square, circle rectangle.=x = 20=100.
Means all above combined 100+46+100+184+100=======530.
Interestingly visibility to human depends upon touch factor. For it one has to study 12/05 Bhagwatisutra.

Here 106 sub categories are  listed. It covers following sub section.
C-Visible with 4 touch==30.
D-Visible with 8 touch =15. We can see only this category.
E-Invisible -------------==61.
Let us have details of this  C+D+E category,
C--18 sins+8 Karma+1 Karman body+1 mind yog+1 Vachan yog +1 tiny Skandh of Pudgalastikaay. (Karma is particle or atom but not visible to ordinary human.)= C=total===============30.

D--06 substance Leshya +4 body+1 solid heavy water+1 frozen heavy air +one light air  ( Ghanodhadhi, Ghanavaay. Tanuvaay)
+one Kaaya yog+one Skandh of Sthul Pudgalistikaay
(Main visible form. Mostly caused by living soul body carcass after death and daily intake (example-tree cut-plant died-furniture made from wood ,and like) -------------- total.=================15.
E-18 absence from sins +12 Upyog +06 emotional Leshya+ 5 basic substances+8 sub sections of knowledge+ 3 types of faith
+ 5 human powers.+4  Sangya( awareness or feeling )total====61.
One has to refer Aagam  for more accurate information since above representation may contain human error and failure of exact and  correct understanding on my part.
Thus one can have idea of composition of universe. How much is

discovered by modern science till date is difficult to comment upon for me since I do not posses the requisite expertise.
One thing is sure that there cannot be any additional element not covered by Jinendra Bhagwan through holy "Aagam".

As a celebration committee member, I was among the team who met Gurudeo for guidance to celebrate upcoming Mahaveer Jayanti due on 09/04/2017. I will ever remember the words of Guru Deo's prayer.

The guidance is being covered here for readers can be too beneficial.
Guredeo  told " It is a most auspicious day  for mankind to celebrate 2617 Th birth anniversary of Mahaveerswami. It is a thanks giving to the noble soul for the unique path of non-violence and truth shown to universe. Let us try to celebrate it with simplicity in a cooler manner.

I will not touch upon your functions like procession, plays based on Bhagwan's life, lectures, poems. sweet distribution, blood donation camps etc. I will like you to mediate in groups with--- Puchhisunam. (Bhagwan praise composition) making one samaik compulsory for all attendant .Learners can opt Navkarmantra ,Loggas if are unaware of former. One can also keep fast if desired.This is the basic required.

Secondly you can note down and distribute following prayer cum appeal in group for that day. It can also be used daily if one likes it.

1)You have helped number of souls to cut the root cause of all sufferings by eliminating birth cycles. Kindly lend your helping hand towards me to cross the sea of lives by walking on your salvation path and ultimately reaching the salvation goal as soon as possible.
2)Please excuse me for my weaknesses which forced me to deviate from your path. I have no shame in admitting that I was not your worthy successor though got Jainism as religion. My hands are full of sins and heart is filled with anger, greed, attachments , jealousy and so many bad qualities. I failed to win  all of four Kashays

I cannot dare to confess all the sins and wrong doings of mine. By the way nothing is hidden from you. I ran after every shelter who offered me domestic pleasures ignoring harm to "Samkit"  Neither I tried to educate fellow brothers of your teachings. Whatever I did was mainly for name. fame and show business. I am really sorry.
Any mother always forgive her erring child just please be my mother till I get salvation and forgive me for my deeds done knowingly or unknowingly. I deeply regret it and offer Aalochana from my heart

3)I may or may not get human life in next birth or births. I may or may not get Jainism as religion. May or may not get Aaryakshetra to perform correct religious activities. May or may not get mind to understand your teachings and may or may not get ears to hear Jinwani and may or may not get eyes to read "Aagama". In all those adverse circumstances please protect my faith in you for ever. I do  and cannot imagine my life without Jainism as religion to guide.

4)Lastly let me dare to pray to you to fulfill  my last wish as follow :
Please allow me to complete current life at due time with Santhara and purification of my soul by Aalochna and Pratikaman having Pandit Maran without fearing death. Let me take my last breath while having Navkar Mantra and your auspicious name on my lips.
-To take birth in Vemanikdeo having correct vision for a  possible shortest term. It will be my privilege to visit Simandhar Swami.
-After completing such term Let my soul take it's last birth in the Mahavidehashketra, taking Diksha from Thirthankar or Kewali Bhagwan with rigorous efforts allow me to become Siddha.

In deep in my heart I knew it is almost difficult to attain salvation in such a shorter duration. Normally it can take countless number of years till my negative karma nullified, I knew.
But have a ray of hope that much depends on intentions with backing of corrective actions. At least let me limit my birth and death cycles. I will certainly not disappoint you, I promise!
I  may be asking too much but tell me how a kid cannot be greedy in front of his loving mother?

12/03/2017 Holi Chaturmas day was one of important days for Jain as it marks completion of four months after end of Chaturmas. Since I attended the lecture on that holy day ,I cover it's question and answer session for my readers which can prove to be very important to study Universe and related matters in a very summarized way.
One devotee asked Gurudeo "Sir, whether Mahaveerswami given us total categories of living and non living things in Universe. I am sure He must have .Can you please share it for our understanding------ ?.
Gurudeo started answer--"Brothers not a single particle exists in this Universe which is unknown to----------- Siddha, Arihant and Kevali Bhagwan covering all three periods. So have full faith in Jinwani for

correct knowledge, Mahavir Bhagwan in 36th and his last chapter in Uttaradhyansutra. given all details. Let's study it herein in short.
You can also have it in Jivabhigam and Pradyanapanasutra, One has to refer above Aagams to have full version and more details. Total living soul categories number is 563.Let me try to explain it.

Total non living categories number is 560 .Now let us study all living souls and their division in four categories as given on following line.
 A. Hell-- A-1- 7 Hell ---7 categories for complete one.(Prayapta) 
(Rayanpabha to Aho-saptma Narki .In all seven Narki or hell )
 A-2-7 Hell-----7 categories for incomplete one. (Aprayapta).** (explained below)===========  Part A total=  14.
B-Basic elements +Plants, Animals and Birds.
B-1-Earth.water,fire and air-4 multiplied by 4 for sub section (tiny, small. complete & incomplete)=-------------------=16.
B-2-Vegetables-3 (tiny. small+ average) multiplied by complete and incomplete total----------------------------------=06.
B-3-2 organs to 4 organs=3 multiplied by 2 for complete and incomplete total example ant, fly etc.---------=06.
B-4-Moving animals with 5 organs- -----Moving on earth, water, air, crawling with hand, crawling with chest=5 multiplied by 4 -complete incomplete with/ without mind  horse. fish. sparrow, snake total--20.

B part total======================== 48.
C-Human
C-1.Five types in each 3 human area namely-Bharat Khestra (our present area),Eirawat Khestra and Mahavideha Khestra --total---15.
C-2-Akarmabhumi area (Here no need to work for bread and butter all needs met by trees known as Kalpavriksha--total---------------30.
C-3-Island area (Antardwip)-------------------------------total-------56.
C-4-complete and incomplete types for above all 3----total------101.
C- 4-Invisible souls (Samuchhim)(Need no parents for birth auto birth in unhygienic items or surroundings-urinal,pond)-total----101.

D -Heavan
D-1-Bhavanpatideo====-25.
D-2-Vyanwantardeo====26. 
D-3-Jyotish (Sun ,moon, star, planets and Nakshtra) x moving and non moving =total=====10.
D-4-Vemanik=12.Usually Jain monk and devotees have chances to take birth at this heaven. 
D-5-Kilvishik=========03.
D-6-Lokantik=========09.
D-7-Grevehak=========09.
D-8-Annutarvemanik=05.
D-9-for all above categories incomplete one total=99.
D part total=198.
A+B+C+D=14+48+303+198=====563 Categories.
In above discussion there is reference of complete and incomplete in each category.**
Let us understand it. When a soul start to take body shape he has to complete minimum 3 stages to take birth depending upon his specific Gati. The serially stages are six as per following list.
food, body, organ, breathing, language and mind-termed as Prayapti.
Souls with one organ has to complete first four stages,2 to 4 organ category has to complete first five and human and others having mind has to complete all six. In case one fails to complete fourth one then he gets death before taking birth.
One can term incomplete category as waiting in Que to take birth. Since the statement made by Bhagwan cannot be false or containing any ambiguity, it gave complete details of all souls.
There are number of soul leaving present life and going for new one. If they are not included the data will go wrong hence it is covers waiting in Que also. It shows sign of through knowledge.
Of course that is uniqueness of Kewaldyani Bhagwan.
You will be surprised to know that we have taken birth in all of above categories except 5 Annutardeo Vemanik one. (Soul gets birth here as last birth before getting salvation )
Since the chapter was great source of knowledge I stayed there for afternoon session also and noted the contents of that session . Please allow me some gap to pen down it next time. In 25 Bol one can get it

JAINISM--SCIENCE,GENERAL BELIEFS AND JAINISM------------PART-2.

To continue topic of earlier blog my friend and myself met Gurudeo again with in a gap of few days. Since then I have some reading on the subject but as I have no doubt on what Gurudeo has stated I do not have much preparation on it .But my friend had some more study on it as he briefed me while driving the car. It was a good interaction.
After preliminary rituals my friend asked permission to start related

conversation  Gurudeo kindly granted it saying "Hope ultimately you have found the truth "Let us discuss how far your discovery matches.
My friend said --- " Sir, I feel it is the most difficult topic ever that I have touched. I could not come to conclusion so meeting you again to have guideline for reaching to the truth. I seek your kind guidance.

 "My dear I do not force you to believe what I said in our last time meeting. You are free to have your own set of beliefs as everybody else have. You can assume any one theory and can test it on some questions. In case of confusion there is no other way out.

If test results is positive and free from doubt based on experience and observations of life take the theory as Truth. You can note down the test points  and start the research in reverse mode. One can have his own question points on similar line First take all theories to be correct. Then cancel one by one with test results. Finally any one of  discussed theory you will agree,I hope. Let's move towards topic.
This is widely accepted method to clear doubts. Ultimately you can reach to truth. You can explore various options based on following four hypothesis to arrive at truth. Now let us assume that there is---,

A--Absence of Karmas--
1-Then what decides span of life for a particular individual-whether it will be short. medium or long and nature of mix of sufferings and happiness he will encounter during such span of current life.
2-What decides wealth, personality ,popularity and intelligence levels among different entities around us..
3-parents,teachers,spouse,relatives.friends.foes.surroundings,faith,  religion and country -who decides all of this combination for any single entity ?How we got birth in spiritual country while others not.
B--Absence of pre- existence of Universe.

1-What  can be date of creation. Total creation took place in one go or in parts. Here numerical values even measurement in light years or like unit can not be useful including super computers.
2-The architect being a single hand or team of experts.
3-Was it a one time activity or additions/modifications going on continuously in invisible form.
4-How the ambit of sky could have been created with filling by such a giant scale galaxies.? How the requisite material like water, wind, soil can be gathered. Is it magic or super power beyond words. If it is magic then magic cannot be physical it can be only a illusion soon to be vanished.
C-Presence of controller:
1-Does living or non living things both are controlled or only either of them is being controlled. If major events of a particular individual are controlled or all events are being monitored. Whether there are different section for control wise human. animals. birds and plants. or it is concentrated function. Whether the controller has spare time for self ? The work is handled singly or team of powerful experts.
2-Does life and death are controlled and is dependent on judgement of such controller. How the timing for a particular person is arrived at for taking birth or leaving for heavenly abode any clue for it ?.

3-What is faith of such controller Does he create people of one faith only. Then how we come across different religions and faiths. Does he control people of various faiths and love all creatures equally. What is his attitude towards people of different faith. Whether initially there is no inbuilt faith and one acquires it after birth.
4-Is he impartial and behave equally with devotees or haters if any. Can he be pleased by any human actions or he is neutral for such actions and carry on with most judicial decisions for everybody.

5- Does he guards his own creation from natural calamity like earthquake, cyclone, famine. flood, .accidents, etc. Similarly whether he takes care to avoid world wars and like human tragedies. Does he allow dropping of atomic bomb on self created loved ones.
6-If we are particles of super soul then how there is impurity among each of us. Secondly if five basics are responsible for life whether those elements are living or non living. If they are non living then life can be created in laboratory also. And it is just impossible. In such case one can have robot without brain and mind. Even cloning without basic elements is impossible.
D-Possibility of End of Universe.

1-Suppose last world war with free use of nuclear weapons takes place in near future. It cannot nullify human race in totality. Human race can suffer major loss but some can still survive with non living things in shaken shape. Secondly earth is a tiny fraction of universe. Rest of universe can carry on usual. So just think how can it be with end when  there was no beginning. You can draw a logical result.

So dear friends have the answers from  all these tests. These are not model questions. You can think ,observe and add or delete to those questions and arrive at conclusion. If God is separated from so called monitoring function and taken only as guide of good deeds then accountability for own actions will increase for everybody. And there lies key of happy coexistence for human race provided non violence and truth are taken as minimum principles "Gurudeo concluded.
We stood up and bowed down our heads. My friend said "Sir, truth is a truth. Whether I understand it or not. Let us wait if I am fortunate enough to reach it. I am optimistic  always hoping for best. Thanks.
I will definitely meet you once I discover it. Please grant me your

permission to think." Soon we left the venue. This time my friend was looking calm and quite. So many permutations, combinations have seem to made him silent for a while. Let us wait for his results.

JAINISM---SCIENCE.GENERAL BELIFS AND JAINISM.-------PART -1.

One fine morning my cell phone rang with display of name  "Critic". It was my old friend on other end. I failed to change his saved name though my friend's views on Jainism melted to a great extent. He asked me to join him next day to meet Gurudeo since he has some interesting queries to discuss. He shared timings and travel details with me. I cannot refuse his call. As per plan we visited to see Pujya  Gurudeo next day. I asked for Gurudeo's time and waited for turn.

After exchanging routine where about, my friend asked permission to start conversation. This blog aims to cover it for Blog readers.
 "Sir, kindly brief me Jainism beliefs of universe creation and it's monitoring of living and non living. Friend continued discussion-
 Sir,I have read lot of religious, scientific and fiction books to know about this topic. But I could not reach to a conclusion, so I need your help to understand the subject. ".I hope to have your blessings for  really understanding the Truth and remove my confusion.

Gurudeo smiled and asked him to share his feed back in brief for various related theories he read, so he can also know it. My friend seemed to be a bit confused but carried on  put forth his observations
 " Sir it is difficult for me but in nutshell, I can summarize them as I remember out of so many theories in brief as follow
1-Explosion theory for birth of various planets including our Earth.

2-Some Superpower creating universe and monitoring it. The power is being referred as God/Nature by it's various advocators.

3-One theory based on astrology saying various planets control the universe through twelve signs. Individual is being ruled by planets.

4-One super computer theory says we are all robots controlled by mind and brain as software and finger prints as coded program. Stars are supposed to be satellites launched. It may sound like fiction story,

5-One theory claims the Creator to be a man made idea to sow seeds of fear in mankind for cultivating civic sense. It can help living life in harmony with other co existent. The fear make him to feel "Some one monitoring him" and must behave carefully in all our dealings.
6.-Last theory claims all of us to be particles of larger soul of God. Five basics (Panchmahabhut) and their combination create life and parting of a single element causes death. Those five elements are sky, air, water ,soil and sun light. The big soul has total plans for it's sub divided numerous particles. Please clear my confusion as stated.

Gurudeo looked at him with a smile" Yes I also heard them as a child but do not knew the details Neither I can tell any opinion on all of it's correctness or otherwise. But of course ,I can tell you what Jainism's beliefs on it with due references. Jainism belief can be stated as----.
1-The universe is being self created one- without beginning and without an end. It is being referred as "Anadi--Anant".
2-It was there in past, it is present now and it will there in future.(09/33 Bhagwatisutra, Jamali chapter).No change in basic structure.
3-The universe has two elements in operations-living souls and non living items. ( 25/02 Bhagwati Sutra).

4-Non living things are changed or monitored by living souls and living souls are being monitored by Karma doctrine.
 (01/06 B.S.).Rise of Karma particles give shape to life's various events for individual. Unraised portion of Karma is stored with soul.
5-Jainism accepts existence of God in two forms. One Siddha Bhagwan- only pure soul without body. They reside on top of universe. Second "Arihant and Kevali Bhagwan" pure soul with the

body. They have complete knowledge of all the time and all things.    These God status souls are not associated with creation or destruction of universe. Neither, they control living or non living ones. They only show correct path to attain salvation and free the soul to end chain of life and death cycles. They are free from love and hate and do not bless or curse the followers or non followers.

6-Jainism also recognize souls with super powers and skills than human being who gets birth in Heaven on the strength of their accumulated good deeds. They are of 4 types of deo Vyanwantardeo, Asurkumardeo, Jyotishideo and Vemanikdeo.
Former two reside near earth while later two reside in upper portion

of universe Head of each category is known as Indra.
They are 64 in number, Sun and Moon are two Indra of Jyotishideo. They are too busy to enjoy their wealth and empire. They are also not associated with universe  creation or any related activity. Some of them having correct faith may often visit Thirthankar or Kewali

Bhagwan to offer respect. They have long longevity. Gurudeo looked at my friend and asked him if he is satisfied and understood the it. 
"Sir, I understood it but not satisfied with it. Please excuse me for that but How it can be so simple and plain ? Such a giant scale things cannot be self created and self-monitored ? How human life can run with out intervention of super powers ? I failed to understand fully.

 " Please Let me have  a week's time to think, read and revert.
We both stood up thanked Gurudeo for explanation and left venue.
Now it became compulsory for me not to miss next round of meeting with Gurudeo. My friend seemed to be more puzzled with this new addition to his knowledge. He failed to utter a single word in car. I also preferred silence waived bye while getting out of car in front of my home. Waiting for next meet I closed door and entered home. One good thing was that I have no doubts on Gurudeo.
