Gurudeo made entry in city for upcoming Chaturmas beginning on 16/07/2019.Herewith, I try to cover his first lecture in brief. With a
usual coolness on his face Gurudeo started the Vyakhan." Brothers
and sisters your attendance shows that you all are carrying a deep
desire for salvation. Now we have four months period to learn the
requirements for achieving Moksha. A Jain Shrawk can fall into the
category of "Balpandit" and can built next life for Deologa during
this period.Mahaveer Bhagwan made it very clear in Bhagwatisutra
chapter 01/08.To become Balpandit condition is that the Sharawak
shall take Niyam or Pachkhan. Pachkhan means a voluntary vow to
be taken to restrict eatables or consumable. It requires the complete
elimination of related desire. If due to a situation warranted, one is
giving up something it cannot be Pachkhhan. For example a patient
of diabetes gives up sweets on advice of a Doctor, it cannot fall in
the category of Pachkhan. Now we check what can be included in
such Pachkkhans. There is no hard and fast rule that this must be done. The reason is Sharwaks are allowed to follow Aagar-Dharma.
Aagar means some exceptions provided in a vow where as Sadhus
are not allowed for a single exception in Angaardharma. They have
to follow whatever is ordered by Bhagwan in Jain Aagams. Thus a
Shrawak can provide that at out station I may take dinner after the sunset. But such liberty is not permissible to monks. Pachkhan turns
a Shrawak from "Avirati " to Virati ".Virati means with Vrata / vow.
Sadhus are "Sarvavirati" and Shrawaks are "Deshvirati."(Partly,Even part Pachkhan makes a Shrawak "Balpandit" who have next birth in "Devloga" as Bhagwan Mahaveer hinted in "Bhagwati Sutra".
Navkarshi. Porshi, Ekasaan.Upvaas are examples of Pachkhans, In
all of them 14 Niyams are easy and can be tailor made to suit each
individual. In 14 Niyam, there are 14 categories of eatables and the
daily consumables. One can decide the list and take Pachkan for all
day. In Pratikaman in Path- "Daee Divpa of Jambudvipa" ,it is given
that all Shrawaks are regularly taking 14 Niyam. We will check the
related details in second half. Now I will brief you for 3 Manoratha.Manorath means strong wish in mind. A true Jain devotee always
pray that his following three long cherished dreams must be true.The following are such "Manorath. It means mind must remember them.
1-It will be a great day when, I can give up all material possessions.
2-It will be a great day when I will become monk by taking Diksha
3-It will be a great day if I can get Santhara at my last breath day.

Friends sometime back, I shared with my Blog readers 14 dreams of Mata Trishala. This full moon day I got opportunity to hear ten (10)
dreams of Bhagwan Mahaveer himself from Gurudeo. Let us study.
"Devanupriya, today I will share with you meaning of Bhgawan's
10 dreams given in Bhagwatisutra. One will be surprised to know
the time of sleep Bhagwan had in entire period of his twelve and half years of rigorous Tap. We as a lay human being take sleep to the an average of 7 hours per day. Total nap or short sleep Bhagwan taken in entire post monk period was only 48 minutes. One may doubt or
find it difficult to believe. But that is the only truth. The reason
behind it was that a soul takes sleep due to coverage of Karma called as "Darshnavarniya ".Pujya Mahaveerswami has almost cleared such
Karma by Dhyan. Secondly Bhagwan was aware of the fact that he
had a short life span of only 72 years whereas his outstanding bad
Karma's balance was very high. Hence for him a micro second of
time was too precious to be wasted. This he has pointed out to his
principal disciple with saying "Samayam Goyam Ma Pamayne".
Those ten dreams Bhagwan has seen in his last night when he has not achieved Kevaldyan and Kewaldarshan. Next day he obtained
it. It shows that great soul's dreams turns into reality immediately.
Now let us study those dreams one by one with meaning as given in chapter 16/06 of Bhagwatisutra. One must aim to read them.
1.-Defeat of Pishach-- (demon)-He defeated a heighted demon. It
suggested that soon he will clear most difficult Mohniyakarma.
2.-White wing cuckoo--It suggested that soon he will enter the last
Dhyan known as Shukladyan. It can award Kewaldyan & Darshan.
3.Various colored cuckoo-It suggested that soon he will undertake
preaching as to cover various subjects to remove sorrow of devotees.
4.-Two stings made of gems--It meant that Bhagwan will teach
two types of religious practices ,One for monks other for Shrawak.
5.-Gathering of white cows--It implied that Bhagwan will form a
Thirth comprising four pillars wearing white clothes.
6.-Pond of blossoming flowers--.Bhagwan explained four types
of happier Deo---Bhavanwasi, Vyanvantar, Jyotishi and Vemaink.
7.-Crossing of large sea--With two hands Bhagwan crossed the
big sea of domestic lives and deaths so will get salvation soon.
8.-Shinning bright sun--.It indicated that Bhagwan will soon
obtain best of all i.e. Kewaldyan and Kevwaldarshan.
9.-Encircled mountain--Bhawan saw "Manusottar " mountain duly
encircled with his bluish intestines. It suggested that soon the total
universe will be covered by Bhagwan's non- matching glory.
10-Seating on throne-Bhagwan saw himself sitting on a throne on
a mountain called "Mandar ( Sumeru).It suggested that Bhagwan
soon will spread best and pure religion as a authority of subject to
all sections of living souls.
Brothers and sisters let us pray soon we all can reduce our negative Karmas and will be able to see such dreams leading to our final
destination of Moksha " Gurudeo concluded.

Gurudeo started the second session for captioned subject. "Brothers
now ,will study the remaining 3 tools which prove soul's existence.
4.-Aagam Praman-.Jain Aagams are composed by senior Gandhar
Bhagwan based on lectures of Thirthankar Bhagwan. Present 32 holy Aagams have been composed by Sudharmaswamiji and seniorAacharyasthaveer Guru based on lectures of Mahaveer Bhagwan.
Mahaveerswami was a "Vitraagi",It means he was beyond love and
hate and selfishness. There is no reason for him to tell things other
than pure and Crystal clear truth. As per Aagam soul is the only
architect of human existence. For Jains this is the basic evidence. In
Bhagwatisutra chapter 12/10 Bhagwarn has covered all details of it.
5.-Arthapatti Praman.- Variation in various living souls can be taken as proof of some major force in operation while living life. It
cannot be a force other than soul. Otherwise how one can satisfy the
difference in a beggar and donor, a doctor and patient, a body builder
and a starving man. The soul covered with various layers of Karmas
can be pointed out as a reason and root cause of such varieties. Even
a couple can have different minded heirs.
6.-Abhav Praman.-It is nothing but negative or absence tool. Now
one has to concentrate on a special feature in a living soul and non
living object. A living person cannot tolerate a small or tiny burn
injury while a dead body don't protest burning his body in fire or
burying underground. A piece of wood don't complain it's cutting
while a living man hesitate to get injected by a nurse. The missing
factor is sole which provide sensation to all living souls.
All five organs are collection centers. Soul combines the receipts
and make proper knowledge available to the person concerned.
Who is behind doubting existence of soul. It is soul only who is
curious to know the things. Similarly to see is the function of open
eyes. Then how dreams are being seen with closed eyes in sleep ?.
Only seeing then believing cannot be in all cases. If a pencil put in
hand of a birth-blind, he can describe the size and confirm pencil's
existence. But if you ask him to describe moon, he can not do so.
Now can we deny existence of moon. Certainly not. Same is case
of soul. It is true, we cannot see it with our limited capacity. But it
was always there, is there and will be there.
Surprisingly science recognizes mind though it is invisible. It has
psychiatric branch to deal with problems of mind. Even in future,
there is absolute nil chance for soul to get scientific approval.
Friends. hope only with spiritual and above discussion based on the
Jainism, we can approve the very existence of soul."Gurudeo has

Usually, I grab the opportunity whenever I come across the topic related to soul. Recently I got the opportunity, when a young devotee
asked Gurudeo how one can see or check existence of a soul. Here
is the related coverage for Blog readers. Hope it will be useful.
"Brothers and sisters in spiritual world soul is most discussed topic.
The reason being it's mysterious nature. It's position is like air or
electricity. It is there but it is beyond common eye sight. Neither one
can prove it physically by holding it in a hand, On the other hand in
spiritual world it is a root cause for happenings and existence of all
living one. In such a complex background let me try to prove it.
It is a naked truth that existence of own soul cannot be seen as we
can see and vouch other physical things in world. In such a given
case when there are no direct verification methods ,we can resort to
indirect 6 ways. They are being suggested in Aagam "Rajprashniya
Sutra " and other Jain literature .Let us study them one by one.
1.- Prathyakhshya Praman-----First tool is said to be a direct one.
Characteristic of any soul is knowledge and faith. They both can be right or wrong. All living souls posses them .A kid know that if
he cries in absence of speech, it will send message to her mother that he needs something from her. Root knows that there is water
below the earth with can help to quench the thirst by deep search.
These basic features are missing in non-living. One can cut or burn
gold. iron. They will not complain in absence of it's knowledge.
2.-Anuman Praman--It is a guessing tool. With smoke or smell we
can guess burning of some object. Likewise if by mistake one get
his finger contacted with fire he felts the burning sensation. Mind well not only that particular finger but self as a whole gets the pain.
In case of a deep sad moment tears come from eyes whereas their
is no connection of eyes only. Some inner thing express the sorrow
or joy felt on a particular occasion as a whole personality.
3.-Upman Praman--Comparison or sample tool. Numerous souls
acting in a same manner can be taken as a proof of common thread.
Every living soul loves to live. A mouse running away from a cat to save own life, a non swimmer drowning man trying to come out from water or calling for help in loud voice can be seen as a last efforts to live. A happy moment marked by smile while a sad time
marked by tears. Some common thing must exists to act in same way. This feature is available in animals and plants also.

Friends here's the coverage of second session by Gurudeo on above subject. Gurudeo started second session "Devanupriyo this session, I
will provide some references on getting happiness with Dharma or
Nirjara in continuation of initial preface in last session. Hopefully
it can clear doubts for not getting desired result from Dharma.
In 07/08 chapter titled as sins are causing sorrow(PaapDukhdayak).
Bhagwan Mahveerswami has replied to a query of Guatamswami.
The later asked the former if souls from hell suffers from sins that
have been done, are being done and will be done. Yes was the reply from Bhagwan. In a rejoinder Gutamswami asked if such soul gets
happiness after cutting such sins Bhagwan gave answer " yes." It
can support the basic relation in sin. cutting them and happiness. As
there is light after end of tunnel, happiness follow cutting bad deeds.
In 05/5 of Bhagwatiji titled as "Evambhut / Anevambhut Vedana.
Bhagwan has told Gutamswami that with cutting bad Karmas with
regret and like tools even souls from hell can reduce the severity
of sufferings. "Anevambhut" means a different and milder ways
of facing sufferings while in former the sufferings are faced in a
form of as built in original.Answer applies to all four categories.
In chapter 06/01 titled as "Vedana and Nirjarame -Vastra example"
Mahaveerswami gave four examples of a cloth piece with oil, a man
trying to cut iron block, dry grass and water drop on iron plate. With
all four example Bhagwan has clarified the time difference to get
desired results. The different results are outcome of nature of given
object and human efforts made to clear the objects. Naturally each
person will have different time requirement to achieve given object.
Dry grass will get burnt easily than weight grass. Same is the case
with us. Small sins cleared easily while deep repeated are difficult, Among all humans few may require less time to end their sorrows
while others will require more time. Now we all are in same boat
of human life but have came into this birth from different ships.
Soul who have taken birth into human life from hell or heaven may
have more sins balance to be cleared. While others may have lesser
balance to pay off. So there is no reason to loose hope. Forgetting
results and without doubting ,we all have to do our best to clear sins. Mind well, not a single word of Kewali Bhagwan can be false.
One may witness that a criminal may be living in comforts. This is
only because that maturity time of his sins are still in pipeline store
.Once the due date knock the door, he has to face the music. Hope, it removes your doubts forever. Now let's end the topic with a simple
example. In school days in mathematics we have solved the quiz of
time required to fill a bucket with water. We can calculate the time.
But if the bucket has a hole at bottom the filling time will be more
depending on size of both incoming and outgoing holes. Same is the case with us . If outgoing bad Karmas are less than incoming
good Karmas, then the sufferings end time will be more. So one has to care about size of Dharma and sins" Gurudeo concluded.

Friends .I found today's( Pakki) lecture of Gurudeo as a real and unique experience. Unique experience in the sense that it provided a
basic answer to a common question. The question is common but we do not dare to ask to other than self. In question and answer part
a devotee showed the courage and asked Gurudeo "Sir, I always hear
from you that one shall always engage in religious activities and good deeds for happiness. But from my own personal experience I
can say that my sufferings has not ended even though I with my best ability doing all acts of Niarjara and Punya. Can you please give any reference of Bhagwan Mahaveer where he has said such things."
No one from hall including Gurudeo have expected such question.

"Friends the answer will require two sessions. I will try to satisfy the
question fully. The references will be based on Bhagwatisutra 05/05
and 07/08. Before that I will require to share some basics concepts.
First, to doubt Jinwani is a sin. But to be curious and to go for cross
checking for truth finding is not a sin. As such ,I welcome your this
question. Generally most Guru are covering their lectures based on
Jinwani We just make it in simpler and common language for better
understanding. With this preface now let us turn to the question.
Most among you are commercial people. Now please tell me cash
withdrawal is simple from saving bank account or cash credit base overdraft account. Yes, it is equally easy from both accounts. Now
if your overdraft account is in excess limit that permitted securities
then cash withdrawal is impossible till the limit is bought down to
normal limits. Same is case with life. If results of our Dharma deeds
are used to clear overburden of sins ,we cannot be happy. One become happy when sufferings ends. But since we do not know the
exact balance of accumulated Karma balance positive or negative,
we have to be continuously engage in religion without waiting for
results. Now you can assume that unfortunately you have higher
balance waiting for repayment which require some more efforts.
Most of us connect with Jainism and Karma theory usually at later
stage of life. With clean slate since birth, we can easily review our
current life and our actions within this span. We usually mistook
current life as a single and only life. As a result we come to a very
wrong conclusion that so far I have not committed any bigger sin.
We write judgment in own favor to be a good Samaritan. We do not
count last births sins ,negative deeds and current life's sin into this
judgment. Over and above all simply we do not know the exact and
wide coverage of 18 sins. We are unaware that a tiny action of our
mind, speech and body can cause attachment of sin particles to our
soul. I sincerely believe that this initial preface will help all of you
to know that it is a wrong foundation that we all are pure saints and
free from sins. Even I agree that you all are doing Samaik and all needed one. But it can be possible that they may not be sufficient to
clear opening and new additions to sin. Now in second session I will give exact references where Bhagwan Mahaveer has covered
this topic. It will definitely make your faith on Jaindharma and it's teaching strong."Gurudeo concluded first session.
