Friends,at our daily family pray meeting, I was explaining need of Samkit and it's importance. Correct faith is basic foundation of our Samkit. What is meant by faith was seemed to be difficult for her understanding to my grand daughter. I asked her for 2 or 3 days gap so I can read and put it to her in a simple ways. Human intelligence and understanding power increases gradually. A kid do not know about numbers or alphabets in her childhood. Her mother or teacher tells her details and she start believing it. Same process was also there for her mother and teacher. Thus what they both came to know and how that knowledge originated initially is difficult to relate. One thing was apparent that both got it from the books. Now they are reading it from books as they have been told. The writer of those books may be known but how, he gathered the writing knowledge is more difficult to know, Let us assume that some genius found the truth and passed on to next generations.
Based on such acquired knowledge parents ,teachers gave us all a set of rules for various dos and undo. Initially we do not knew much details of such rules. Since they have been told by entities for whom we have great love, affection and respect ,we start to believe them. This belief is called faith. If mother has warned us not to put finger in fire, we follow it as we know deep in heart that mother will never tell us any thing that is false or incorrect or against kid's interest.
with growing of age, one gather experience and observations. It all fixes or amend your basic faith and stick to you unless some drastic change by meeting new Guru or reading book happens to us. It is also very important to know that each living soul takes birth with knowledge and faith. No matter it may be correct or wrong, Human can have maximum 3 knowledge from birth. We get Jinwani from reading or hearing Jinwani, Believing it fully is Samkit. Without it one cannot even think of salvation or Moksha, It may be possible that one may not fully understand Jinwani but to believe "Tamev Sachham Nisakam" whatever is told by Aagam is the only truth is correct faith leading to Samkit.
Now in second part ,we will study why Aagam shall be trusted init's entirety. How they were originated and who have wrote them. The study is required to remove doubt if any that may be rises due to elements like proof. logical thought process which are gift of study of modern science and challenges put by other faiths. Friends really it was a great coincidence. Yesterday , it was world's mother day. On the same day, I happened to revisit 09/33 chapter of Bhagwatisutra. The chapter read as "Rishabhdutta and Devananda". An idea clicked to me to share for my readers. Here is the coverage. Most of Jain know " Trishalamata and King Siddartha" as parents of Puj. Bhagwan Mahaveer. But reality is some what different as told to
Guruguatamaswami by Mahaveerswami himself as above. Let us have more details of it based on 09/33 and 05/04 chapters of B.S. As Bhagwan himself shared it, no reason exists for any doubt. Even 14 dreams were seen by Devanannda Mata popularly it is believed to be of Mata Trishala. One can check it from "Kalpasutra 2nd part.
The revelation incidence happened in a village where Puj, Mahaveer was camped. The village was called "Brahmankundagram . A couple residing in the village named "Rishabhdutta and Devananda" left home to see Bhagwan Mahaveer. They were Bramins but as they
have heard the name and fame of Bhagwan, they decided not to miss the opportunity to have a glimpse of Him. They have reached the spot. No sooner than Devananda looked at face of Bhagwan, a miracle happened. Her breast got heavier with milk and milk's flow started to flow. The lady forgot to close her eyelids and continued to look at Bhagwan without closing her eyes. Soon large tears of joy started to flow without any interruption from her eyes. Her each and every goosebumps thrilled with tremendous joyful and happiness.
Gautamswami was also present at the sight. After the couple left the venue ,he could not resist his curiosity and asked Bhagwan the reason for such a strange incident. While revealing the truth and root cause Bhagwan shared with Gutamswami that " Devannanda " was his real mother. Her body expressed her natural love and affection for her own kid in most natural way unknowingly. Soon in the same village both " Rishabhdutta and Devananda " took Diksha from Bhagwan Mahaveer himself, Both got salvation and became Siddha.
Now we discuss the reasons how Bhagwan's Karma has acted in transfer of mother .In his 3rd life of Marichi, Bhagwan was born as a grandson of Thirthankar Shri Rishabhdeo as son of King Bharat. When he came to know that in due course he will be Thirthankar and get salvation it created a feeling of deep pride for his ancestral origin. With it, he built higher class birth prohibition Karma. As a rule all Thirthankar get birth in "Kshatriyakul" only, This particular Karma directed Bhagwan's soul to be in " Devananda's womb as against of womb of "Trishalamata" when the soul traveled from 10th Deologa Pranant to Bharatkshetra for taking it's last birth as human.
After 82 days Lord Shakendra- Indra got this fact and got shocked. To prevent exception to basic rules of birth of Thirthanakra, Indra ordered "Harinagmeshideo" to arrange for transfer soul from one womb to another. Deo carried out the order of "Indra"| and done his job with utmost care and skill, Thus Bhagwan Mahaveer swami missed his original mother. Trishalamata gave birth to Bhagwan.
In present modern science era we hear technique of artificial ways of conception, surrogate mother. transfer of embryos from uterus to uterus. One can be shocked to note all techniques were available in older era. One can visit the original B. Sutra chapter to know more about meeting, Dikha and salvation of "Rishadatta and Devananda".

Friends, herewith I try to share Mahaveerswami's answers to Guru Guatamswami in Bhagwatisutra. They are based on five chapters. 1.-07/06-Sata-Asata Vedniya. 2.-02/01-Sayamkrut Karma. 3.-17/04-Aatmakrut Dukha. 4.-01/09-Jivaaadi Ka Garuthva and Laghutva and 5.-03/03-Kriya and Vedna. Let us study them one by one----------.
Normally human life has smooth flow if one has normal life expectations. But majority has to face 3 or 4 serious blows, when one may eager to know the reasons behind it .Our personality and behavior from childhood till date is crystal clear to us. We fail to search out the root cause. Helplessly we turn to religion or Guru to get the answer. We searched the answer within boundaries of current life only, it lead to inability to find answer. I n such time, situation is like chess game" Checkmate" condition. All options are closed. One has to surrender and accept the results without any protest.
1.-In this chapter Bhagwan has given 7 reasons to get sorrow. They are-causing distress, grief, pain, anguish, beating and remorse to any of living soul or souls .On the other hand if one take care of others and try to add happiness ,joy, softness, pleasure, protection and cheer to their lives, it add same to own soul life. This fifth cycle is marked by sorrows .Everyone is fed up and running here and there to save the skin. In such condition one need not add fuel to it from his end.
2.- In this chapter Bhagwan has clarified that whatever sufferings a soul is facing ,all have it's origin in deeds committed by the sufferer. Presently he is facing matured deeds. Whenever the balance deeds get matured. he has to face them. There cannot be any exception. However the Nirjara can help to reduce the severity in some cases.
3.-In this chapter Bhagwan told that whatever soul is facing is out of own deeds. One cannot be called to share other's deeds unless the particular soul was the party in any capacity to deeds of others.
In this chapter Mahaveerswami clearly stated that a soul makesKarman body heavier by committing 18 sins. A heavy soul naturally has to face more sufferings. On the other hand if soul decide to remain absent from 18 sins by taking vow he gets a light Karman body with less sufferings and early salvation.
5.-This clarification of Bhagwan can help us to remove doubts, Heclearly told that all results are outcome of our action. As such it is first action then result. In no case, it happens that any result one may get without committing action. Many times we think that the particular result is injustice, I can never do it, how it can happen to me - ??? For such thoughts Bhagwan clarified that first action then followed by result. So we shall take the result positively and try to repay loan. Hope all this discussion can make ourselves more and more cautious and answerable for our deeds and intentions.

Founder of Jain religion in this period, Mahaveer swami has gave us various methods to live life. How they are useful, let us study. 1-Mask-It is known as "Muhpattti". Monk and Shrawak use it. It aim at protecting tiny viruses from entering into mouth .Suddenly a small mask is running in short supply as everyone needs them to use .It take care of air born viruses if any in surrounding atmosphere. 2.-Boiled or ash-mixed filtered water--It aims at drinking pure & safe water to keep away the water born germs.Patients are given advice to drink hot water maximum time to take care of throat. It takes care of water born gems As a basic we need water often.
3.-Non-violence and vegetarian food-It ensures that the harmful bacteria or poisonous things do not disturb your digestion. One can check the status of prices and supply of other than veg. food. It is a result of fear of eating that keep people to turn to veg. food .It act as a prohibition of viruses passed on by other living souls. 4.-Samaik-It ensures individual isolation .It is a type of timely self meditation. It keeps mind far away from negative energy. In time of distress Samaik is a tool to connect with own soul and God.
5.-Sanghtta--It means not to touch others. In Jain culture and in Samaik or in temple one gender cannot touch other gender. It a kind of social distancing. Gents can touch only feet of monks. 6.-Poshad--It is a sort of self quarantine. The devotee engaged in " Poshad" keeps away from all others for a limited time. 7-Charity--Jain religion preaches 9 types of Punya or good deeds. In time of lock down the weaker section of society who looses it's daily earning of living opportunities can be served with this theory. Hospitals and schools built out of charity are being used to give treatment and shelter in such a alarming medical emergency.
8.-Aprarigraha-Jainism advocates minimum possession.one can note in last 40 days, we can live with only essential things supply. The less purchasing by masses has shaken many economies and travel plans. Just check if we follow it ,our purchases and spending on non essential extravaganza can be reduced to a great extent.
9.-Pratikaman-- All other living souls than self in 84 million Yoni are being asked to forgive for misconduct if any towards them by Jain .Let us ask same to Corona virus to forgive mankind. 10.Faith-The most important tool Jainism awards is strong faith, It's God concept is totally different. God is not who awards life and death. Jainism looks God as mentor ,philosopher and guide, He guides how to live life and get the soul liberated by Nirjara. It's Karma and Purushartha theory teaches us to take care of self action by following rules and guidelines of society and state in emergency times. In present times following such attitude prohibit spreading of such deadly virus .If each one cares for others spread will be less.
Looking back at 1918 Spanish flue or influenza pandemic, world has lost more than 50 millions people, out of it more than 12 million were Indians. The repetition of pandemic occurred in 100 years. If it silently suggest that nature gives 100 years time to mankind to set right his behavior against other species ?--.I started thinking. Friends on 3rdApril 2020 ,I have completed penning down of 250th blog in series of Jainism-ways to attain salvation------Mokshsadhna. Before approx. 77 months on 24/11/2013.I started it. On 1/01/2014 ,I wrote 50th blog having viewers plus 3900.The figure reached the mark of 100th blog on 18/09/2014 with viewers around plus 12000. As on today i.e. 9th April 2020 the readers reached magic figure of plus79600.Leaving those numbers and statistic, when I look back at those blogs and viewers and their comments, I feel immense happy. The joy can be compared to a farmer when seed sewed by him can be seen in form of flourishing mango tree. Giving sweet fruits. A big Thank You to Blogger for providing land in form of platform.
Average viewership number stand at number 1033 per month which may not be impressive but the fact that Jainism interest exists is sufficient for me to carry on the task without any self interest .At some point of time in life majority of us needs to turn to religion shelter to have inner peace and consolation. Better if decide to do it as early as possible to have strong foundation through out life .I hope more young people to read us through oral communication.
In opinion of zoologist the king of forest has a peculiar habit. He prefers to take overview of his past path at regular interval, so that he can have safe march in near future. This habit of retrospection offers him a safe way ahead in forest avoiding past mistakes if any. In similar ways, I check with my self frequently if I am keeping the object alive witch I set for myself ,in the beginning of writing. In the absence of feedback except few comments ,I do the work myself.
With a sole object keeping young generation in vision, I started it. My main object was to simply the Jinwani from Aagam based literature and to represent it to youngsters in a readable form.It is always better to read original than other versions .I knew it since beginning. But given a choice to read Aagam in "Ardhamaghdi,they may prefer to continue with traditional ways of Puja. It may consist of going to temple ,taking Darshan and then back to routine. In the said process they might overlook the treasure Bhagwan Mahaveer Swamiji left for us in form of Jinwani. It could be a great loss.
While doing my task I have taken care to provide in blog maximum references of Aagam so that my narratives does not breach truth as per Jinwani. Such care is most necessary because there is no other sin bigger than to say anything which is not matching or in contrast to Jinwani. Secondly I was also cautious not to impose my branch wise preferences and to remain impartial to all Jainism branches. Beside Jain religion I have not commented on other religions unless they have been called on. It could happen as I personally believe that any type of faith is a subject matter of individual soul. His self
devotion and engagement with religion shape that One must have liberty to decide form of his prayers and devotion for Almighty. Lastly to say Thanks for all who made it possible will be a mere formality. Better I will like to carry their support as a obligation to repay their debt for liking and appreciation, I believe that this kind of obligation will be a force that keep me carry on this blog.

Friends Jayanti or birthday normally are meant for celebration.Now While the world is passing through difficult and sad time due to the pandemic caused by Corona virus,this year let us give it a different shape.Let us replace the celebration with sweets and procession by celebration with home prayers,apology and asking forgiveness.Let us pray for forever eternal rest for departed souls.Let us add prayers for early recovery of patients admitted for positive tests.When our some brothers are suffering we must restrain from celebration.
This year's Mahaveer Jayanti will be on 6th April 2020 being a day of Chaitra Sudi Teras .On this day Bhagwan was born 2620 yrs ago. I hereby try to explain apology reasons. We human as a majority cannot claim that we have never disturbed other living souls in any manner. They may be insects,animals,birds or plants. This does not confined to only current life .In all previous lives and current life whatever misdeeds ,we have done towards them ,we must seek their apology and seek for their forgiveness for us. Bhagwan in Karma theory explained one type of joint Karmas attachment . It is termed as "Samudaik Karma Bhandan. What it means.In old days people
enjoyed watching bull or hen fight or as of now it is mob lynching. In such type more than one person got involved in torture.Take an another example of ragging in colleges or hostels .Such Karmas returns it, sufferings as a whole. We do not know nor remember if we have done such crimes or not. Still on a safe and better side this option is being suggested. For it one can do self Aalochana by Pratikaman path-18 sins and 84 million Yoni Khamatkhamna.
At the same time we must forgive all souls for their misdeeds if any towards us. There is no point in carrying on revenge feelings with the soul. We have to clear all negative and dark layers. In simple ways, we can celebrate the birth day of this great soul. We can have minimum 11 Navkar,2 Loggas and two Namothunam together with above Aalochana .Better if one can add "Puchhisunam " to this. All Jain and Non- Jain must be thankful to Mahaveer Bhawan the noble soul who taught us value of life of any living soul. One can imagine the fear animals felt when stored in butcher's shop. We must assure living without disturbance to all co planet mates. Just see the natural magic-this may be a unique day of Pujya Bhagwan's Jainma-Kalyanak when automatically all meat, wine ,smoking shops
are closed by compulsion of case. Minimum sins birthday gift- !!!. Let us have faith in our good deeds and positive Karmas.Let us hope and pray this Mahaveer Jayanti will bring the much needed silver lining to end the fear, panic, anxiety griping the world by the deadly virus.Let this April shall really bring spring to us as said---.
Lastly let us hope next year we will celebrate our this pet Jayanti with more happiness and souls free of any negative fear. For a real devotee of Bhagwan each day is his birthday at 24x7 hours, Still as a tradition let us salute this pure and noble soul. I am sure this great soul and his light will always help us to fight darkness.
