JAINISM------- WALKING ON MOKSHA-MARG------------!!!.

Friends,as day of current"Sawastari" is approaching fast herewith I
present Gurudeo lecture from my diary delivered on last Sawastary.
"Devanupriya, Today is most awaited day for we as devotees of shri
Bhagwan Mahaveer. In spiritual world with Jain religion, there are
so many other religions.Most of  other religions teaches different  ways to worship God. Very few teach the road to get salvation. The

main reason for such deviation can be attributed to perceptions and
functions of God in those religions. Majority of religion approve the
idea of God as Master running the show .Jainism approve God as a
guide and teacher to teach a soul how to get liberated, so the soul
can become God in form of Kewali,Arihant and lastly Siddha.They
as a "Vitraag" tells only ultimate truth for salvation of living souls.

When one tries to compare different religions with Jainism, he can
notice that other regions are worshiping God and seeking blessings
of him to remove individual sorrows and offer happiness. The main
difference of Jainism is emphasis on human efforts. Jainism believes
that if a soul starve hard to clear his sins and negative Karmas, he
can easily remove his sufferings. The main reason of human sorrow
is taking birth. If seeds of birth are being burnt, there will be no need
to take birth and go through cycles of pain and sorrows. The main
architect of life is soul itself. There is no need to knock the doors of
God or others to have eternal peace and happiness for ever.Soul is
too powerful need no mercy of any nature from any authority,

Jainism has advocated to live life based on four pillars. The pillars
formed by Samyag (correct being true)Dyan, Darshan and Charitya.
One can get trained in it's correct combination and guidance from
Aagams or Jinwani. Darshan means way to look at things.It is also
one's perception how it thinks about components of universe, Tap is
part of Charitya, hence not quoted separately as a forth pillar. 
Dear Shrawaks, you are semi fortunate to get Jain religion since the
beginning of current life. It saved the time of finding true religion.
One can be real fortunate if can study Aagam and hear Jinwani.
Hopefully most of you got correct Suguru to tell you correct and
true Jinwani. Take care to avoid falling into wrong hands so it can
not waste your being Jain. To utilize best of your potential, this is the
basic criteria to select right religion,right Guru and right Bhagwan.
Now we all Jain are have been gifted by Jinwani's blessings golden
and best period of Chaturmas, Paryushan and Sawastari. Thankfully
Bhagwan Mahveerswami introduced us to this period of 4 months.
The purpose behind Paryushan is to introduce Jainism to our kids.
I am sure you all will fully utilized it. Mind well Bhagwan can only show you road,you have to walk on it." Gurudeo concluded lecture.

JAINISM-IMPORTANCE OF PARYUSHAN-2020-------------!!.

Friends,in earlier blog I have shared time frame for Chaturmas -20.
Here with I share motivational appeal from Gurudeo from my last
year diary."Devanupriya 8 days most auspicious period for Jain is
going to start from 16/08 2020 to 23/08/2020.Some branches may
have date different by one day due to guiding Panchang. Everyone 
is free to follow it as per related branch, Here one need to check if
it ends on "Bhadrapada Panchmi" at time of evening Pratikaman.

 I wish to emphasis one main point. All human whether he is Bhavi 
or Abhavi,Mityhadrishti or Samyagdrishti can do work of "Punya".
But only souls with Samyagdrishti can do "Dharma".Punya cannot
get you salvation as Punya do not cut negative Karmas. Punya can
only get you favorable conditions of living and doing "Dharma".It
is only "Nirjara" means cutting of all" Paap" by doing Dharma can give you salvation.Doing Dharma is nothing but engaging oneself
in Samaik, Pratikaman ,Swadhay ,fast and Pachkkhan to keep away
from sins. Paryushan gives a golden opportunity of doing Dharma.
Fast and Swadhay are  the major tools to burn the negativity and sins attached to soul. Paryushan is the opportunity which offer it.

  In view of major chance of "Aayushbandha" or fixation of next
life, Bhagwan and senior Aacharyaji have stressed the importance
of "Sawastari " day. In period of total 8 days first 7 days are meant
for preparation of soul for good results. On Sawastari day as per the
individual sentiments or Bhavna ,the next life fixation get shape in
6 ways. They are-Jaati, Gati. period of living,structure of individual
Pradesh and Anubhag ( It means rise of Karma and it's severity).

Due to coverage of Kashay and sins our souls has lost it's original
nature. This 8 days period is of return from "Vibhav" to original
"Swabhav". Dyan,Darshan and Upyog are original virtues of soul.
Same is now virtues of infinite Siddha Bhagwan. Many of us do not
find reasonable time during year due to our various engagements.
We work hard for current living. In the process we forget to care for
soul. We fail to accumulate good deeds, Nirjara and cutting of bad

Karma. As a result the carry forward of Karman body failed to have
sufficient carry over. Hopefully you will all do best this Paryushan"
Gurudeo concluded. Friends at least mark 23/08/2020 as reserved
for Dharma Aaradhana to add positive Dharma to our souls..

JAINISM--HOW TO REDUCE BIRTH CYCLES--!!!.

Friends,I am sure most of you started reading "Uttaradhaynasutra ".
Unless one start it -reaching last 36th chapter on "Pratipada day" to
express gratitude to Bhagwan Mahaveer can be difficult, In last lines before getting salvation having two days fast at holy Pawapuri city
Mahaveerswami shared crucial step to limit domestic lives in Sutra.
Related lecture of Gurudeo is being shared herewith for blog readers.
By this time we knew the prior six conditions to get salvation. They
are-Bhavi soul, Samyagdrashti,Paritta Sansari, Sulabh Bodhi, Souls
who are Aaradhak (Jinwachan obedient and Charim (last birth).The
3rd condition is Paritta Sansari. Paritta means who has touched the
imaginary line beyond which he will not commit new life cycles by own conduct and Nirjara. Guredeo asked us to write those two lines.
"Jinvayane Anuratta, Jinvayanam,Je Karenti Bhaven--------II.
  Amala, Asankilitta, Te Honti  Paritta Sansari------------------II."
( Hindi translate -Wah atma jo Jinvachan mein anurakta hai . Jo bhavpurvak  Jinvachan palta hai, wah nirmal saral atma sansar parimit karta hai "). Gurudeo  gave all devotees a break of ten
minutes gap to us learn the  lines of 266/36 of Uttaradhyanasutra.
Amala means dust free-Nirmal. Asankitta is simple -free of Kashay. 
Meaning of it covers qualities needed to limit domestic life cycles.
Once the soul become Paritta, he become Sulabh bodhi. It means he
get Jinwani understanding easily. It helps him to be "Aardhak".It
means his all life actions are as per Jinwani. All leads him to be
Charim. Charim means soul taking last birth through human life.

 After it he shared meaning or ways to cut off life cycles as follow.
 Bhagwan informed three sign of devotees who can be able to do it.
1.-Which ever soul loves Jinwani by heart deeply.
2.-Who ever soul perform activities matching to Jinwani faithfully
3.-Who ever is free from wrong faith, love and hate.
A soul can touch all steps serially. It indirectly means than unless one
touched 2nd step of "Samyagdrishti" limiting births is impossible.

In the same chapter at last line--- 273/36 Bhagwan has warned his
followers to avoid five types of death which can lead to numerous
life and death cycles. Those deaths are by  use of weapon ,poison,
setting blaze, drowning in water, Anachar ( non desired acts) with
unwarranted items. Bhagwan has called this death "Balmaran".
Hopefully one gets motivated to go for "Uttaradhyana" reading. We
have another reading waiting shortly. It is "Antagarhasutra".For 8
days of "Paryushan" each one has to read it. Here we can meet so
many noble souls-Gajasukumalji, Arjunmali. Eivantamini and so
many others who obtained salvation in immediate past. Please do not miss the showers of great "Jinwani" as we all aim to reduce cycles.

JAINISM-25 BOL EXTRACTS FROM AAGAM--!!!.

Friends the increasing readership of "25 Bol" blog dated--16/05/2018
increased my curiosity in the subject of 25Bol. As a result, I started to have more reading on it to trace it's origin. To my utmost surprise I
found that it is- compilations from various Aagams. Devotees who-
do not have time to go through Aagam, can opt to read and learn 25
Bol . Pannawana, Bhagwatiji, Stanagsutra Samwayang,Uttaradhayn
Upasakdasha. Aawashkasutra (Pratikaman) all Aagams have made a 
contribution to design of it. For reference please refer following. It

can give the connections and reference of various Aagams. These
references can remove doubt and give motivation to learn more of it.


Pradnyapanasutra (Pannawana) Sutra is one of 12 Upang. Upang
means sub- section. In main Anga Sutra Bhagwan Mahaveerswami
told main principles for masses. The details for monks or students
are told by him and complied by senior Aacharyaji. They are called
as "Sthaveerbhagwan" in Upang .In case of interest that in which-.
context Bhagwan has told it. Aagam at Jain Sthanak or Temple can
be referred.If you are making kids to learn 25 Bol, take care to share
this information with them.It can create interest in then for Aagam.
25 Bol is a glance of Aagam. Once the kid love it,then a treasure of
knowledge awaits for him contained in various 32 Aagams.  

All Jain parents who wants to make kids religious foundation to be
solid must aim to impart basic training of Jainism must start with
9 Tatva,9 Punya.18 Paap.25 Mitthyatva and 25 Bol. We all under
Jinwani shelter can do minimum to keep Jainism flag flying high .

JAINISM--BRANCHES (PRAKURTI) OF KARMA---!

Friends here is the summary of Gurudeo's lecture from my diary. He
was addressing the devotees in pre-Diwali reading of "Uttradhyan"
Sutra before Veer-Nirvan day .It is a Jain tradition since salvation of
Mahaveerbhagwan. His lecture was based on Thirty three chapter of Sutra titled as "Karmaprakurti" Let us study these important notes.
" Devanupriya you all know Karma theory to be foundation of our
Jain religion. You all know the types of  eight Karmas with nature. It can add to have more knowledge related to sub divisions of Karma.

With a too kind heart gesture Bhagwan has given detail of all eight 
Karma for us. The only purpose of him behind it was to make all of
us aware of  which can be executed or avoided. He sub- divided the
Karmas in 148 branch or Prakurti. When 26 branches are being kept
aside for nature purpose 122 branches remains. Out of it he told 42
branches to be good for conduct while 80 are to be avoided.80 are
causing building of bad future in current or next lives. Today I will
explain in brief the nature of these branches of Karma tree.

First let me brief you first the tally of 8 Karma and 148 branches.
Some Aacharya count additional 10 for Naam making total  to 158.
Devotees can refer"Pradhyapanasutra"02/23 chapter for details of all sub branches. Karma is the sole reason of all varieties in the living
souls in universe. In Bhagwati 12/05 Mahaveerswami clearly told the
basic truth. Universe is full of Karma particles. They at their own do
not get fixed with any soul unless invited .Soul invites them by his
actions. love. hate and Kashay. Sugarcane and chilly seeds may get
same soil, sunlight .air water but the resultant crop will be a totally
different in taste. This is the power of Karma. It can make the soul of
Thirthankar or Nerkiya in 7th hell. Hence soul conduct is important.

Jain literature has detailed coverage on Karma doctrine. The most
widely followed Granth is "Karmagranth" penned down in 13th-14
centuries by "Aacharya Shrimad Devendrasuriji".Sthankwasi branch
approve it as Granth as few interpretation is not matching Aagam.
Aacharya Mishrilalji Maharaj and Aacharya Devendaramuniji have
interpreted it in book titled as "Karmagranth" and " Karma-Vidyan". 
Devotees interested in deep study must spare time to read it once.
Karma rises are of two types. Pradesh and Vipak, Pradesh rise are
limited to Aatma-Pradesh. But "Vipak uday" Karma give a good or
bad experience to be felt. If not taken in right spirit can cause more
Karma attachment to soul.J ainism teache facing them in cool ways.

As per chart Naam and Mohniya Karma's branches have maximum
branches. Mohniya Karma is most difficult to clear. The reason for it is our inability to remain neutral and confined to our own soul. We
have opinion for every thing and accordingly we love and hate the
things. Naam karma has largest branches. This is the reason of seen
varieties in living souls. Naam Karma covers birth, organ, body type
parts of body, structure body, color, smell .taste ,voice, success and
failure in life. One may be too famous with lot of followers where as
other may be neglected in own family. Detail are available in book.

One thing is sure that a most small action of soul through it's mind 
body and speech is sufficient for Karma to get attached to the soul.
Hence mind your action Karma is waiting for your invitation. Be 
particular ,think twice before acting" Gurudeo concluded lecture.

JAINISM--ELIGIBLE BACK GROUND FOR SALVATION---------!!.

Friends here is coverage from diary for second session by Gurudeo.
 "Devanipriya, in first session we have discussed how the thought
process and it's purity while reaching truth can have great impact.
Now we can check qualities of soul. As we know, soul do not carry
any shape or color and it is invisible to all except Kewaldyani. It is
gender and pattern less.It's division or partition not possible. Soul is
spread over all body of living souls. In fact it has the flexible shape
to fit with existing body. This is the reason that an elephant and an
ant carry same soul particles having different layers of Karman and Tejas body.There are no predefined qualities of any soul.But in our
Aagam there is description of two types of soul.Let us check them.

One is light weight and another one is heavy weight.In Hindi it is
termed as "Halukarmi" and second one is "Jadkarmi".Majority of
us wear mask for outer world. However individual self is aware
of his own nature,flaws,good and bad points.One can carry on the

self test to find out the qualities and nature of soul. Here one can
note that there should not be denial of sins committed. If we look
into history of all noble souls, every one has committed the sins. It
is more important to check the behavior once we give up our wrong
faith and got the real meaning of sin. A thief- unless he understood
that stealing any one's hard money is a sin will enjoy his skill of
looting the innocent people.I n a nutshell a Jain who knows the nine
Tatvas, 12 Vrata of Shrawak and need of salvation can better judge
 to check eligibility of self. Nine Tatva helps to know basic Jainism.
In this part I can share some check points to decide quality of soul.
1-Have one reached to conclusion that life is full of sorrows and
  tensions ?.Getting salvation is better than taking birth repeatedly.
2.-If one has given up anxiety and worry learned to accept things as
   they turn up accepting results calmly as  per Karma doctrine. ?.
3-Whether one fears sin-? If he feels sorry for sins committed. If         he tries to minimize sins to minimum possible level.

4.-How sensitive one is ?Does he feel sad to pluck flower or using
  poison to kill rat and insects inside residence ?. Does he ever minds
  harsh words used for juniors or colleagues and feel sorry for it ?.
5.-How often one get angered ? Does he forget easily the quarrel he
    got involved ? or he store it in memory forever ? Does forgive
    and forget is his practice in dealing with people or it is otherwise.

6.-How satisfied one is ? Is the love of wealth and care for future
     generations is always in mind on top priority in life ?.
7.-If one is aware of 9 types of Punya or good deeds. If he take time
    to visit blind or orphan or hostel for physically challenged one?.
    Charity amount may be small but the feel to help shall exit.

8.-Does one is careful about source of income-?If he prefers adding
    to wealth ignoring quality of trade. If he do not hesitate to run
    unethical business like bar or non vegetarian food chain ?Is the
    business or profession is being dominated by bribe, corruption
    cheating and fraud like activities for it's expansion and growth ?.
    Does any of his source is from fifteen Karmadaan category ?. 

 Friends one can add more self examination points. The sum can
 answer if the soul eligible to remain "Atma" or can advance to
 next steps like "Mahatma" and finally "Parmatma".The result may
 give a hint not necessarily it may be a permanent nature of soul. A
 soul may able to add correct knowledge with guidance of Jainism
 and proper Guru and may change for better "Gurudeo concluded.

JAINISM- SALVATION OF KING BHARAT----------------!!!.

Friends, as soon as Chaturmas started, missing "Guruwani" created a void in all Jain devotees. I was not an exception. I started to read
noted lectures from my diary. Here is one of my his favorite lecture.
 "Devanupriya in various lectures we have seen how to walk on the
path of salvation. One may regret that I have not taken Diksha and
became monk. How can I get salvation? It is just impossible. Dear
one, I am confident that my today's teaching can change your mind.
The lecture can provide a ray of hope to all of salvation seekers.

White dress of Sadhu do not guarantee salvation. Even one may be
fortunate enough and get next birth in Mahavideha where present
"Thirthankar" Bhagwan Simadhar Swami reside. Soon he may take
Dikha and become disciple of Devadhideva Arihant Bhagwan. Is it
enough to get Moksha ? No only company of Bhagwan cannot give
assurance that the soul will be liberated. The souls of Goshalak and
Jamali were too near to Bhagwan Mahaveer. They were prominent
disciples of Bhagwan. Unfortunately qualities and actions of soul
made salvation for them a distant dream by increasing life cycles.
A Sadhu can again go back to 1st step out of 14 Gunstana while a
Shrawak can touch 7th step with his noble thoughts. Let's study this.
In past we have examples in Jain history that without taking Diksha
Shrawak can get salvation only on purity of thought. Marudevimata
and Bharat Chakrawarty are the best examples .We have studied the
story of Maru Devimata. Today I will brief you story of King Bharat.
King Bharat was senior most son of Thirthankar Rishabhdeo Swami.
He was among 63 finest human of current era. He was Chakrawarty.
63 finest human on earth are 24 Thirthankar+12 Chakrawarty and
nine each Vasudeo, Prativasudeo and Balram. India got its original
name "Bharat" based on this great King Bharat. Chakrawarty means
a great universal King. He conquered the universe. Lastly, he got
his brother Bahubaliji defeated. After all victory he was relaxing in
his most beautiful comfortable palace called as "Aashishi Bhawan.
The palace was decorated with high quality mirrors. The King got
woke up and saw himself in one of the mirrors. His one finger was
looking ugly as the golden ring he was wearing on finger got lost.
The incident made the King sad for a moment. But it changed life.

The event caused a deep thought process for him. He concluded that
world is calling him handsome as his body is wearing ornaments.
His father was right when he taught him that soul is the real beauty,
The body may grow old and loose it's shinning but soul is the most
beautiful thing forever a man can possess. So it is always wise to
care for soul than body. If it is the truth, then what I am doing here.?

With this process, he obtained "Kewaldyan"-omniscience. He went
to Bhagwan Rishabhdeo, took Diksha and get liberated. Thus in the
ordinary dress a Shrawak got the unique "Kewaldyan".The reason
was simply a correct thought process taking him to ultimate truth.
In second session, I will discuss how to check the qualities of own soul" Gurudeo concluded first session. I  decided to stay for session.
