PREGNANCY AND JAINISM---3--SHAPING KID'S FUTURE.

Friends. I happened to meet Gurudeo and attend his lecture while on a personal tour. As per information shared by local city organization
the lecture was specially arranged for "Jain Bahu Mandal (It means
daughter in laws club).One of my earlier blogs in two parts titled to
be "Pregnancy and Jainism" is popular with readers and this subject
is based on similar lines, hence sharing with my blog readers.
 "Sisters you all gathered here for a noble objective. Mother is every thing to kid. she is local God for kid in real sense. Herewith- I wish
to share with you kid's upbringing care notes. Hopefully it can help.
If the lecture is being absorbed with proper spirit and sincerity, we 
can gift a good devotee to Jainism and better citizen to country ,The
current wind generated in west and blowing and spreading in east 

has hit our legacy, heritage and culture. Hope soon you will realize. 
Lecture lasted for one and half hour, So I am cutting it points wise.
1.-For all round development of any kid one to five year span is very
very crucial. This period is being blessed with his sharp memory
and keen observations. So be careful for what you select him to teach
For it you have to make sacrifices, cut on your parties and social
gathering and make self updated for Jainism and Aagam study.
2.-Once kid starts to speak, within six month try to teach him noble 
Navkar Mantra. This is our most auspicious best foundation for him.
3.When kid completes his third year of age. he is in the position to
remember. Try him to learn names of great 24 Thirthankars, Loggas.
Namothunam. 18 sins, nine Punya and Manglik. You must aim to 
impart him training of Samaik and Pratikaman by end of fifth year.

4.- Kids are too curious in this particular age to know what is in sky, what is in temple. how he came to your particular house, where God lives and what work he does and so many questions on similar lines. 
To pacify his queries ,do not give him false answers. Your answers
 must be based on Jainism study. It can give him correct knowledge.
To stop him from crying do not generate fear of police, thief, devil
 and bad persons. It can make him weak. Teach him power of truth.
5.-To save own time ,many mothers allow kids to watch mobiles
and television. This is the most dangerous option. Once the kid
falls in this trap, it will be difficult to bring him back from these bad,
false and dream world. It take him to fictitious world. It can make his
personality as a self centered one without caring and listening others.
6.-With reduction in joint families and due to moving up to distant
places from home for job or study purpose, the old days of grandma and grandpa are vanishing fast. Now there are no genuine story
tellers. Hence mother shall visit Jain library and be acquainted with
our glorious past. She must replace all fairy and other stories with
Jainism based story. One can use following subjects as stories.

7.A.-life of Mahaveer Bhagwan, his youth, his leaving empire
to become monk, his rigorous Tap, his sufferings, his obtaining
Kewaldyan, his teachings and finally obtaining Nirvana or Moksha.
B-Mahasatiji Chandanbalaji-She  was first lady disciple of Bhagwan.
C.-Bhagwan's teaching to Chandakaushik serpent .
D.-Arjunmali and his transformation from serial killer---"Antagarh".
E.-Rishabhdeo Bhagwan and Moradevi Mata. Their love, affection. 
F.-Bahubali. king Bharat and sisters Bramiji and sundariji.
G-.Gajsukumalji and his unique achievements in a single day.
H. Aristanemiji not marrying Rajimatiji to avoid killings of animal.
I. -Dharmaruchi Angar and ants .One can have treasure of stories from Aagam-"Dyanta Dharma Katha." Aagams are treasure for us. 
Sisters let me conclude. Do not allow your kids to be weak and
easily take over target of bad habits. If mother gifts him strong
foundation of spirituality based on Jainism.no force on the earth can
shatter him. Brief him Karma theory slowly and make him careful
for all of his actions. Every mother is serious about his study and
personality development. Very few mothers realize the importance of religious study. It is our real roots. Only it has power to offer your
kid inner peace and stability of mind in adverse conditions. Father of kid can also contribute to the process in a great extent. Just realize the changing period and entry of extreme and supremacy feeling overtaking in society. We need to preserve our Jainatava otherwise after 25 years todays kids will be soft targets of  conversion to other easy religions.Kids not doing any Jain activity can be soft target.We should not loose our legacy of Bhagwan Mahverswami,  

With the end of lecture unknowingly my eyes were filled with tears
unknowingly with memories of my departed mother. She was not
 too literate in traditional sense of education. But what she taught me for Jainism was unique. It provided me shelter in each crisis. It acts
 as a protective shield even after mother gone for ever for next life.

JAINISM----25 BOL-PART------2.

Friends, in last blog we have studied 12/25 Bol. In this blog we will cover balance 13 Bol. Thus so far we have covered very useful part.
13.-10 Mithyatva.-It covers basic 10 main wrong beliefs ,we as ordinary human generally tend to follow. There are also fifteen other
secondary wrong actions. Readers can refer to a separate blog with
same topic in this blog else where. This study is major as  such wrong actions or beliefs are reason not to get early salvation.

14.-9 Basic Tatva of Jainism--For a lay man Bhagwan has pointed out major pillars on which study of Jainism has been based. It has also been covered earlier by this Moksha -Marg series of  this blogs. In all there are 9 Tatvas. Jeev, Ajeev. Punya. Paap, Aastrav, Sanwar. Nirjara, Bandh, Moksha.14+14+09+18+20+20+12+4+4=115 Bhed. Bandh has four sections. Prakurti(types),Sthithi(period) Anubhag it means  density of sentiments and Pradesh ( quantity). 


15.8 Types of soul-In common terminology, soul is considered to be 
one, but Bhagwan has informed it's different features in eight parts.
This part is also covered by this blog series. The positive changes made in  seven components ensure early salvation. Draya, Kashay, Yog, Upyog, Dyan, Darshan, Chartya and Virya Aatma. Kashay only a negative one  while Draya is constant for all living. Balance can be positive or negative. Virya refer to willpower or soul's determination.

16.-24 Dandak-Total living souls are divided in 24 sections known are Dandak. It consists of- 7 hell+10 Bhuvanpati-Deo+5 Sthawar+3
Vikelendraiya+1 Tiryanch Panchedriya+1 human+1 Vyanvantardeo
+1Jyotishideo+1 Vemanikdeo. This classification made the common features study easy for  understanding each section for Jain devotees.
17.-6 Leshya.-Changes in emotion and sentiments of soul is being studied by it's color called as Leshya. They are in all six. Three are
positive and balance 3 are negative. Detailed blog is also available.
18.-3 Drishti .-It is a manner in which a soul carry it's faith. They are
right, wrong and mix of both. Right is what Mahaveerswami  taught. It  consists three Samyag -Drishti, Mithya-Drishti and Mishradrishti.
19.-4 Dhyan.-It is state of mind's occupation. Aarta Dyan (engaged in fear and anxiety),Rodra Dhyan ( fraud. violence ,cheating etc.)
Dharma Dhyan and Shukla Dhyan. Former two needs avoidance.
20.-30 sections of 6 basic Draya. (substance).Please refer book. In all it is an important study with five category. Draya,,Kshetra, Kaal ,Bhav and feature for six Kaay which made whole universe. All 6 are of " Aadi-Anant" means are there for all 3 period without beginning or without the end. Jiva having "Chaitnaya and Upyog","Ajeev" has detoriation, Dharma helps movement,Adharma help stoppage while "Aakkash" offer place to stay. Drava wise Kaal is single." Jivas  and  Ajeeva, are Anant. Kaal, Dharma and Adharma are Asankhayat pradeshi. Lokaakash is Anant. Kaal is only in two and half Divpa.
21.-2 Rashi-- Rashi means collection. In complete universe there are only two major class. Living and non living. It is further classified
in 563 and 560 sub section. It is already being covered else where.

22.-12 Vrata of Shrawak-It covers vows from non violence to care
for incoming guests like monks to be adopted by devotee Sharawaks.

23.-05 Mahavrata of Sadhuji.-Major vows of monks till last breath.
24.-49  types of Pachkhan of Shrawak.--It is combination of possible actions of mind, language and body for taking vows. Very brilliant basis 11,12,13.21,22,23 .31,32,33. mind, speech and body.  one number to be taken for action(Karan) and  two number to be taken for (Yog) tool. For example number 31 denotes 3 Karan 1 Yog.
25.-5 Types of Charitra (conduct).The behavior adopted to nullify
8 Karmas is Charitra One is for Shrawak that is Samaik Charitra, Chedop-Stapniya,Pariharvishudhi, Sukshma Samparay and last one Yathakhyat Charitrya. Last balance 4  are for Monks. Hope this study will be useful to readers. Addition of book can be more useful.

JAINISM---25 BOL---PART-------1.

Friends recently I came across a small book for Jainism with above title. I found the book to be very useful to know basic things of life
and Jainism at a glance within a short time. All Bols are taken from
32 Aagams. One can find the list of reference in booklet index page.
I am sharing the summary form herewith for this blog readers. For
details one has to refer the book. The book is an accumulation of the various pieces from Aagams. For better knowledge it is very good.
In universe there cannot be more items than those specified things. If done in a systematic manner learning it very easy. first see the way it is being composed.1 to 10 are general principles of a soul. Last 22 to 25 are for Shrawaks. 11 to 21 are difference in living  and non living  with types of 14 Gunastan and types of souls and Leshaya, One can first note down title and contents numbers like-1.Gati 1-4.2.Jati 2-5.
1-Gati-4.It means various destinations where soul can go. They are hell ,plant and animal. human. Deolog .After Siddahgati soul need
no further life and death. It is   it's last and final destination-Moksha.

2-Jaati--5.It is birth based on organ classification-Souls having one
to five organs viz-water, shell ,ant, fly and we as human plus animal.

3-Kaay-6. Different bodies where soul takes birth soil, water. fire air,
,plant and moving souls having two to five organs.
4-Indriya-5. It means organs. Maximum they can be five viz-ear. eye. nose tongue and skin. We are called Panchendriya with 5 organ.
5-Prayapti-6. It is power of a soul to convert food and particles
into supplementary for body and living life. They are food. body.
organs .breathing, language and mind. A baby in mother's womb complete them serially one by one. Breathing ensures soul's life.

6-Pran-10. With maximum 10 tools soul lives the current life. They
are five organs, mind .speaking power, skin, breathing and life term. A soul lives in current body till it's current life term built expires.
7- Sharir-5. It means types of body. Commonly, we knew only one
visible body. Actually all living souls have additional two  invisible bodies known as Kaarman and Tejas body. Both these bodies always
accompany soul till salvation. It's full clearance gives  final Moksha. 
Karman body is storage of all Karmas related to past and present.
Tejas body offers digestion power and glory to soul's personality.
 Human has Odarik body (built out of perishable particles,). They
 have special small body known as Aaharak body in special cases. 
 It is used to clear doubts. Hell and Devta have Vekriya body. This 
 special can be changed as per desire based on specified eligibility. 
8-Yog-15. It covers types of actions of 3 viz- mind, speech and body.
It is based on truth, non-truth, combined one and practical elements.
(Satya, Asatya, Mishra and Vyavahar). They are four each related to 
mind and speech and seven related to soul's body. Special powered soul when get from Oadarik to Vekeriya likewise it is Mishra Yog.
9-Upayog-12. Special and common knowledge using  mind, speech and body is called Upyog. It means put to use the powers of  a soul
to obtain knowledge and faith. It has five types of knowledge, three types of absence of knowledge and four types of faith or vision. Now in this present era a Jain monk can have two Dyan and two Darshan.
10-Karma-08.-Soul can attract eight karmas. The four karmas are serious and balance four Karmas are body related.  First four are
Karmas related to knowledge, faith, sufferings and attachment. Second category consist Karmas related to life. personality, race and 
deprivation. The life term and all happiness or sufferings are being
results of Karmas built, It is the main cause of differential levels
among various living souls which are felt and seen apparently.
11-Gunastan14-.Those are spiritual development stages of a soul.
Starting point is wrong faith and last 14th stage is Siddaha-Moksha.
A soul add Samkit in 3rd stage to his Mittaya faith. In forth stage he leave Mitthatva and obtain Samkit but could not go for Pavhkhan,In 5th state soul become Samithdhari Shrawak with partial Pachkhan.In 6th stage he becomes monk but with few flaws.In7th stage monk act totally as per Bhagwan's guidelines.8 to 14stages are travel to get the Kewal Dyan and Kewal Darshan and Moksha.

12-23/240 wrongs for five organs.(Indriyoke Vishay and Vikar--They are ----3+5+2+5+8=23  respectively for each of them are for
ear, eye. nose tongue and skin.---------------12+60+12+60+96=240
It involve words color, smell ,taste and touch of good and bad nature.
Balance thirteen Bol we will study in second part-2 in next blog.
