JAINISM------JINWANI CLEARING SOME CONFUSIONS------------!!!.

Few days in hand remained for completion of current Chaturmas. A group of young Jain students staying abroad came to meet Gurudeo. They listened the lecture with patience and joined  group discussion at the end of session. Here is the brief coverage of entire session.
One young student asked Gurudeo "Sir, shall I ask you a question ? With permission of Gurudeo he first introduced himself. He was a student of a prestigious university of United States. Beside study he has also studied Jainism. In polite tone, he put forward his questions.
1) I find most teachings of Jainism in opposite directions of common beliefs and practices. Please excuse me for that but please allow me
to share  my opinion with  examples as my experience with Jainism.

A: We have been taught in business school to maximize profit and to build assets with maximum use of capacity and resources. Why some restrictions under name of 15 Karmadan are being advocated often.?
while Jainism tells to limit possessions. Also it believes - Happiness lies in giving than accumulation. Then why to work and earn--?
B: We have been taught to love our relatives and friends and make best use of money to have best things and enjoyment in life while Jainism teaches to give up love and hate and lead a simple life. It teaches to be alone and introspect my soul with proper meditation.
Without love how one can survive-?  Company makes life easy.
C: If we are fortunate enough to have better living standard then, why shall we change it and give up luxury of lavish leaving.
We have brain power .why we shall not use it to maximize wealth.
 I am surprised to see the life of a Jain Monk who gave up all of his possessions of domestic life.do not have home and depends upon food prepared by others. He has no permanent residential address.
D: How keeping fast can ensure better future. No one has seen a liberated soul, then why salvation should be the main motive of our
life
 Gurudeo as usual smiled and told him that his questions justify his age and generation. Gurudeo told him as long as he fails to differentiate materialistic and spiritual life it is difficult to have the answer. He can provide guidelines to change thinking ways.
"Dear friend your views are short term and will definitely change with passage of time with lessons of life. With my experience such changes are frequent and usually happens as we gain more maturity.
Further Gurudeo added that as per his observations most of present youth spends his valuable age of 30 to fifty to earn name, fame and wealth. Then he spend fifty onward life till last breath with visiting courts, advocates, doctors and hospitals for outcome of life's issues.
Gurudeo asked him to ask a billionaire whether he can sleep without  taking a compose pills and whether a peace of mind matters to him. After a point in life, money loses it's importance. One can study the huge donations people make, they are not unwise to throw away hard earned money. Such donations must be giving them back more than valuable thing than money which is inner peace which is priceless. 
  'Fasting' is a tool to test whether one can control his organs and related desires. You call your self as fortunate, how you became fortunate while many others find it difficult to match earning and basic needs. On inner inspection definitely, you can find answer.
 For  anyone  his soul is main  friend and relative. It will constantly accompany him forever, while others are with him for temporary period. Here one cannot ignore the effect of our accumulated good deeds. Similarly a liberated soul does not have body since he has cut  seeds of life and death then how one can see him other than Kewali.
One has to believe Kevaldyani Bhagwan to affirm faith in salvation. The happiness a Jain monk enjoys is beyond words."
Gurudeo concluded to have a faith in various teachings of Jainism and sooner he will realize that they contain the ultimate truth of life when he will start to examine life after death at later stage  life term.
I looked at his face, it seemed to be lost in thinking. One has to wait for some time to vouch for ultimate results for positive changes.

JAINISM-DEBTS CREATED BY MOHNIYA KARMA--LOVE OR HATE------!!!.

In the questions and answers session an old widower devotee who could not stand properly stood up and asked Gurudeo a query-----.
"Maharaj, why I am being constantly harassed and neglected by my son and his wife ? I have not expected such treatment to me even in my wildest dream "he said with a choke up voice and sat down.
Gurudeo looked at him sympathetically  and said." Yes I will try to answer your question but before that let all of us have a look at those various situations in day today's life around us :-----------.
1.Parent taking care of their only mentally retarded son.
2.A house wife serving her husband suffering from paralysis since long period immediately after wedding.
3. A husband drinking alcohol and beating his wife on a regular basis. In absence of drink he is too good and normal.
4. Real brothers are fighting in legal battle over property disputes since decades immediately after demise of father.
5. A person donating his accumulated wealth to uplift lives of many unknown people of other countries.
6. Various organizations working to save animals and plants. A nurse serving patient without any motive.
7.A lady loving her pet dog just like kids giving her full attention.
 Do you think all such incidents happens without any reason---- ? 
As a rule there is a unique thread creating those above cited and another similar complexities of relationships among living souls driven by Karma Theory.It is created out of our love or hate felings.

Jainism provides the reasons of such actions, one has to refer and study following Aagaams for better understanding.
1. Chapter 18/03 of Bhagwatisutra Dravya ( actual) and Bhav---- (emotional)  Bandhan (bondage). It shall be read with sub sections Prayogbandha (action) and Vistrthabandh ( natural).
In former, the actions of a particular soul creates good or bad connections with other soul out of love or hate .As a rule one has to clear all such deeds before his soul gets salvation. For example love and respect Guru Gautamswami carried for Mahaveer Bhagwan was proving a cause of former not getting salvation earlier.
Similar is the case between 22nd Thirthankar ShriNeminathji and Rajimatijitiji. The later was carrying her love for him for nine life cycles. At last on clarification by Bhagwan ,she gave up marriage plans and became monk and got salvation.
Such continuous relationships are termed in Hindi Language as "Rhunanubandh" to meant inner connections between various soul.

2. Chapter 12/07 of Bhagwatisutra explains numerous relations of a soul. It explains that each soul has been son, daughter, father, mother, friend and enemy for all other souls in the universe.
In current life if we protect a life we became his parent. On other hand we kill it or harass him we create negative bonding with him.

3. 30 types of actions and reasons of building Mahahohniya Karma. All such actions give same or severe than original action as per mechanism of boomerang. They are termed as Saatavedniya (good) and Asatavedniya Karma. ( bad ).Hence as per teachings of Jainism we have to conquer love and or hate for other living souls. Even in Pratikaman Raagbandhan (attachment by love) and Dweshbandhan (hate connections) are advised to be avoided. We have seen the rise of Karma and the consequences" Gajsukuuumalmuni" faced.
Thus there is no reason to feel sorry for the present state. No one can stop the natural process of operation of Karma results.
 If one decides to forgive the opponent and suffer the result silently then  only new cycle of  tit for tat and hate will not be generated,
It is my advice  in good faith to adopt a let go approach and repay the  old dues " Gurudeo concluded.
I looked at the face of that old person, there were tears in his eyes. He might have understood his own actions of past life and regretted. He bowed down and sat with some helping hands.

JAINISM-- SAMKIT----BE CONFIDENT @ 101% LEVEL----------------!!!

I happened to be in Malegaon near Nasik in Maharashtra for taking Gurudarshan. The showers of Jinwani was being showered by Pujya Gurudeo in this monsoon of Chaturmas for benefits of thousands of Jain Devotees. After lecture session his, the famous questions and answers session started. I was too happy to participate in the session.
One devotee stood up and asked Gurudeo -"How one shall carry on religious activities in the background of so much uncertainty: like whether he is Bhavi ( Eligible for salvation) or not is not known. If Bhavi then whether he is Shuklapakshi ( entry in salvation time zone) or Krishnapakshi ( yet to enter period of salvation.) also is not known ? Period of salvation is near or too late is also not known. There is no Kewaldyani with us to guide at present time of 5th Aara."

Gurudeo smiled a bit and said "Yes, you are correct when you talked about such uncertainty.  Now there is absence of Kevaldyan in our Bharatkhetra and no one can tell the exact truth about oneself. But there is no reason to get disappointed. First thing to note is that such confusion/questions arise in  the mind of Bhavi souls only. Abhavi souls are enjoying the series of life and death cycles and do not bother about freeing the souls from such cycles and to get salvation.
They do not bother about it and never thought ever to end the cycles.

Secondly one is best judge for himself. One may put mask for outer world but inside him he is aware of all his good and bad deeds and own qualities. Thus one can easily vouch for own's personality on basis of five criteria's. Let us examine if we clear them in self tests.
Those criteria are as given in Pratikaman. Practical test of Samkiti soul are - Sham, Samvega, Nirved, Anukaampa and Aastha ( sense of equality among living souls, wish for salvation, aloof from domestic affairs, care for others trouble and concern for them).
If all these tests are positive in one self- he can consider himself as Bhavi. Once he is Bhavi then he must get the salvation as Bhagwan Mahaveer has assured Jayanti Shravika in Bhagwatisutra while answering her query chapter 12/02.It is a  basic truth for all of us.

 A student who appeared for his final examination  can accurately predict that I will definitely pass and will secure good marks. One shall be confident @ more than 100%  level like the student for getting salvation. Hope we all will carry similar confidence level.
 One must think that I am Bhavi and Shuklapakshi and definitely get salvation in near future and carry on activities as per Jinwani. One has to believe in one self and think that no doubt ,the path of Moksh salvation is too difficult but at least not impossible I can definitely achieve it. I have the torch of right knowledge. faith and Character given by Mahaveerbhagwan. It will bring my mission success.
 So do not worry have full faith in teachings of Bhagwan and continue to accumulate good deeds "Gurudeo concluded. I can see now much more confidence on the face of that devotee --------!!!.
