JAINISM---NEED FOR SWADHYA OF AAGAMS---------!!!.

Friends, here is coverage of Gurudeo's lecture attended by me last full moon day. I am sharing it in brief as I feel, it covers almost and
most needed guidance for salvation of soul for all of Jain devotees.
"Dear Devanupriya Shramanopasak ( Lovely followers of Shraman Bhagwan Mahveerswami who are loved by heavenly Gods. I always
makes a point to motivate all of you to study Jain Aaggams. Basic

reason behind my intentions needs to be explained. As you all know,
Bhagwan has specified four steps for salvation--knowledge, faith,
conduct and fast. All steps are serial. Knowledge builds faith, faith
makes to change conduct as advised by Bhagwan combined with
fast as a tool to control needs of organs ,mind and living.

Today, I will try to elaborate first step knowledge. In your physical
world, you know the vast differences made by knowledge. A worker
earns hardly Rs 1,000 in a day after putting much of hard work. On the other hand a Supreme Court advocate engaged in defending for murder or property dispute case may earn Rs 1,00,000 per day. This
is mainly due to latter's efforts to gain knowledge than former who
rely on body for earning his daily bread and butter  around clock.
To emphasis gain of knowledge, I share story of a cat taken in court.
Four partners of a cotton warehouse decided to keep a cat to take
care of rats. All of fours have decided to take care of cat's four imaginary parts with mouth as a common part for all. One day the
cat's one leg got injured. The care taker of that leg got the leg duly
bandaged with cotton gauge. Same day in the warehouse.one leg of
cat cached fire. To save life the cat ran here and there, As a result
the fire spread in whole warehouse causing tremendous losses. The
three partners attributed the loss to owner of injured leg and the coverage of cotton strip and demanded compensation. The matter
went to court. The defending advocate told the Court, that leg of
his client was injured and cannot allow the cat to run. Hence there
is no fault of his client and he owes the compensation. Court agreed
for his argument and granted compensation. This is how knowledge
helps. In spiritual world, knowledge helps to reduce 18 sins and to keep away from sins and to accumulate good deeds. Hence to gain
correct knowledge, study of Aagams is a must for early salvation.
Swa means self or soul. Adhay means study. Thus Swadhaya is self study leading to discovery of soul. If you acquire in current  life
correct knowledge through 32 Aagams, it will accompany you up to
next three lives as told by Bhagwan in 01/01 of Bhagwatisutra.
In lecture of monk, they cover knowledge but mostly as story as
in interest of larger gatherings within limited time. So the books can
impart you what has exactly been told by Bhagwan Mahaveerswami.
Jain knowledge through thirty two  Aagams can be classified in four
categories of Anuyog as given here under the for easy understanding.
1.-Dravyanuyog--------It covers living and other five basic Draya.
2.-Ganitanuyog---------It covers details of four Gati.
3.-Charankarnanuyog--It covers conduct and behavior.
4.-Dharmakathanuyog- It covers religion based advice. Thus for real
and true knowledge go for Aagam Swadhya Gurudeo concluded".

JAINISM--EVANTAMUNI-THE KID WHO GOT SALVATION-------!!!

Herewith, I try to cover story by Gurudeo told in post Chaturmas kid's camp. The session started with favorite Stavan of Gurudeo-
"Arihantoki Raah Ho, Siddhomein Niwas Ho,"
Bhave Eisi Bhavna,Guru Ke Saath Pravas (travel) Ho". At the end of poem. with due permission a kid around age 10 years asked
Gurudeo, the prescribed minimum age to become Jain monk.
Looking to the kid with delight, Gurudeo told the  minimum age as
per "Vyavharsutra" to be completed 09 years. Gurudeo further added that today, he will share story of Evantamuni or Atimuktak Kumar
from era of Mahaveerswami Bhagwan based on 15th and  05/04th
chapters of "Antagarahasutra and Bhagwatisutra. The story goes as-

In Polaspur city King Vijay was ruling the kingdom with queen
Shridevi. The couple was fortunate to have a pure soul named as
Aatimuktakkumar. He kid entered in his sixth year of was and was
playing on ground. Suddenly he saw Gurugautamswami, who was
searching for food. The kid cached his finger and brought him to his
house and completed his food requirements. While dropping him,
he asked Guatamswami to allow him meeting with Mahaveerswami

The kid met Bhagwan. He was very much impressed with Bhagwan's
teachings. The kid expressed his desire to go for Diksha to become a
Jain monk. After much perusal he could obtain parent's permission.
Now Aatimuktakkumar became Evantamuni, the smallest Sadhuji of
of Bhagwan Mahaveerswami. He is also the smallest to get Moksh.
Once in rainy season. the little monk went outside for urinal with his
pots. On the way, he could not resist, temptation of childhood. He sat
down near a pond of water and started playing in water with pot.
With tremendous joy, the kid started to sing a song spontaneously.
"Meri Naav Tiri,Meri Naav Tiri (floated)."

Some senior monks ,saw the incidence and felt sorry for the kid's
playing with water as it is a breach of non violence vow. They
reported it to Mahaveerswami. Bhagwan warned them, not to insult
the kid monk as it was his last birth as human. Soon the kid with pure soul will achieve salvation and go for Moksha prior to them and Bhagwan. By the song ,he meant his soul getting destination.
The monks went back and made apologies to Evantamuniji. Finally
the Muni got Santhara and salvation on  the Vipulgiri mountains.
So dear kids, age does not matter much. The feelings of soul is of
almost importance "Gurudeo concluded. In the end Gurudeo sung a
very touching Stavan in praise of  Pujya Evantamuni ,it goes like---.

" Evanta Munivaar, Naav Tirayee, Bahta Neermein."
