Questions and answer between Gurugautamswami and Bhagwan
Mahaveerswami in Bhagwatisutra clarify following basic principles related to nature, quantum and related matters for souls of living.
1--Number of total souls in universe is constant for ever. They are infinite in number. Souls can be divided in two categories----Bhavi (eligible for salvation ) and Abavi (non-eligible for salvation Moksha
2--Though the number is infinite, the total does not change by a single unit at any given point of time. It is always at aconstant status.
3-Souls are permanent in nature though it may keep changing body as per four Gati ,till it gets a body less form while attaining salvation. Such liberated souls are Siddha. After salvation there is no rebirth.
4-The living soul can not be non-living soul and vice versa. To study this one can refer -05/08 and 07/02 Shatak of Aagam Bhagwati titled as "Jivoki Haani and Vridhi 'and ' Kya Jiva Shashwat Hai ". Both these chapters offer important study material.
In those chapters Bhagwan has told that in all there are three status--increase, decrease and constant for all categories of souls. Siddaha
are constant or increase only. For others all possibilities remains.
Gati are five ( generally four if Siddha treated separately then it is five )-Hell, Heaven, Human, Animal and Plants and Siddha (means( liberated souls). Out of those five only Siddha are increasing or constant without any single decrease. All other classes can have any of three options at a given point of time as the "Gati" cycle continue..
In second referred chapter it is told that souls are permanent with reference to Darvya ( basic element responsible for life )option but changeable with reference to Paryaya or Bhava ( options). Soul is a combination of individual Dyan, Dharshan and Upayoga. Layers can be changed by Nirjara or addition to bad deeds by actions of the soul.
Thirdly living soul will not become non living and vice versa. For example if one cuts a living soul like goat or hen, the body is said to be dead the soul element will immediately goes to the next birth. The body which was built by dead soul using non living elements particles at the time of birth will become non living particle in form of dead body or food or ash. Non living elements left here only.

First Bhagwan informed that elements of sky is numerous. They are termed as (Asekhenjya). Further he added that same and exact are
the components of any living soul. Though surprising but it is true.
The soul does all Karma oriented actions by all components 1/03.
Thus the study clears some of our misconceptions like --current is the only life, Siddha can take birth again or animal can take birth of animal only .To purify our beliefs constant Swadhya or reading of Aagams is highly desirable. We are fortunate to have those holy books to add to our knowledge. Let us prefer Aagam's Swadhya.

It is immense moment of joy for me to write for 100th blog of this
Mokhsadhana .Let me present some more facts related to it-------.
I started it on 24/11/2013 and completing 100th mark as on today 18/09/2014. In less than 10 months the viewers number has reached plus 12000 mark. It is not my writing skill or any other similar virtue being responsible for growing interest of viewers. Only thing that can be given credit is basic strong fundamentals of Jainism. It is not a ordinary religion but religion preached by none the less than pujya Kewalibhagwan. Hence the response is on expected lines.
In current complex life situation many souls are turning to the deep spiritual knowledge for inner peace. Jainism offers it to them to the fullest. No doubt for full gain ,we have to come out of traditional stamp of religion to understand it without any type of prejudice.
Jainism is in a broad sense is a art and style of living. If one lives simply with care for others living or non-living things. he is very much near to Jainism irrespective of his caste and religion. We cover our eyes with a particular glass or faith and prefer to ignore other good theories. In the process we miss so many good things.
Jainism never require it's own stamping on any individual but it expect one to have rational behavior for others equal to his own expectations for own soul. One can very much continue with his own religion but needs only to respect and care other souls.
If one understand Jainism basics. he may or may not follow it but definitely love it. Thus one can keep his inheritance intact.
I tried to simplify the Jinwani and put it into blog format so that youngster can easily understand the basics of Jainism. With limitation of my capacity, knowledge and understanding it is just impossible for me to even reproduce the things at nearby level as told by Lord Mahaveerswami through Aagams forming Jinwani.
But I tried my level best so that any other soul may be motivated to do the said Herculean task. Deep darkness removal needs more and more efforts. This is a first small step towards this vast object.I am very thankful for Blogger to provide me platform to write and viewers for major part of world to encourage my efforts.I express my deep sense of sorry if any thing in all those 100 blogs have caused to hurt feeling of any viewers. Similarly I regret any thing misinterpreted by me than told by Bhagwan Mahaveerswami.I believe truth will here to prevail all the time to come in future.

Jainism attach greater importance to professions or businesses that one one carries for living. It is applicable if one does not take Diksha and become monk. It is known as Karmadan. Bhagwan specifically warned not to get engaged in some business discussed as follow----. Building of Karmas is very much related to it. Bhagwatisutra Shatak 08/05 and Pratikaman sutra 7thStula and 7th Anuvarta deals with it. Bhagwan has broadly told that one shall not get engaged himself in activities involving Sarabha----- it means (determination of killings)
,Samarabha (giving actual trouble) and Aarabha ( actual killing).It is as a combination is called as "Aarambh-Sarabh" in Jain terminology.Above chapter of Bhagwati Sutra named as----- "Shramano-Pasak".
Mahaveerbhagwan told Guru Gautamswami that Shrawak not doing following business can take birth in heaven( Deologa) with their pure thoughts, Not doing those activities shows careful attitude toward all living souls while one is engaged in business to earn for his family.
They are listed here under-but one needs to have full study of it to know the real interpretation to avoid misunderstanding if any.
1-Ingaalkamme--fire related i.e. bricks, crackers and coal making.
2-Vannakamme--Buying forest-cutting trees, crushing seeds etc.
3-Saadikamme--Making and selling vehicles.
4-.Bhadikamme--Renting vehicles and animals on rent.
5-Fodikamme--Digging land with tools and explosives construction.
6-Dantawanije--Selling skins of animals.
7-Lakkawanije--Buying and selling Lakh ( a kind of adhesive)
8-Keswanije---Trading of hairy animals such as cow ,buffalo .
9-Rasawanije--Selling liquor and similar liquids.
10-Visawanije--Selling weapons ,Charas. Ganja, drug etc.
11-Jantapilankamme--Crushing with machinery-oil mills, ginning.
12-Nillanchkamme--Crushing gender organs of animals.
13-Dawaggidayanay---Burning forests on contract.
14-Sardahtalaysosanaya--Drying water sources.
15-Asaijanposanaya-- Immoral flesh trading running brothels, clubs pub, massage and dance bars. Earning through immoral activities.It is very important teachings by Bhagwan on matter of earning. Some Jain particularly out of India are engaged in food industry. They are working in capacity of franchise for restaurants dealing in a vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It is a matter of grave concern. They must reconsider it with reference to this part of teachings. One can be surprised to know that some of big Jain houses are also being engaged on large scale export of meats. Too much greed for money can make one to neglect religion and open gates of hell for next life.No doubt earning money is essential for living but it should not be at cost of lives of others. What ever may be the past of anybody but can must be available for rethinking the source of earning to give up it.Needless to say bad money may bring temporary wealth but attached sins are too difficult of repayment. This is the message Jainism study of prohibited Karmadhan gives to it's followers for earning livings.One shall take care while not doing it he shall not advise, approve and praise such activities done by others by any action of mind, or
body and speech. Since such action also larger involves sin for him.
Many people known to me even do not deal in shares of companies dealing in liquor ,meat, tobacco and similar one. See if one can hear the message of Bhagwan and make necessary corrections- required. It can assure life to animals who cannot speak. We must care of all.

Jain community have so far contributed much for the betterment of society. In traditional ways there are temples, hospitals, sanatoriums
,Upashray, Stanaks, college, educational aid trusts, money assistance widows and poor section, concessional medical stores, libraries, and
cataract surgery, blood donation camp endless too much good works
The new concepts that catches my attention are Chowihar houses and pigeon houses. Chovihar houses is spreading it's wings in major metropolitan cities. They aim to serve foods to fellows who wants to follow Jainism. Most Jain do not take dinner after sunset. They also do not eat roots and prefer boiled or ash mixed water for drinking ( Dhowan Pani ).They also avoid food in mixed restaurants mostly.
This is possible only if they are at home. Now most of us Jain has to leave home for business trips, job or education. For such a class the Chovihar houses provide Jain food before sunset. Noble purpose behind running such houses is to help people following Jainism.
With this facility such devoted people can carry out their Pachkans smoothly. In sunlight we can see tiny insects and can avoid it. More over sunlight prevents bacteria. Better if we can follow it as routine.

Second one is pigeon house. Most countries have it. In India, I can found one in Hyderabad-Malakpeth- through net. I am not aware of the founder, but must be follower of faith similar to the Jainism. Pigeon, sparrows are vegetarian and innocent birds. To provide for their shelter and food is an excellent way to serve humanity. I very much appreciate such efforts for birds who are not able to speak.
For entire life, we run here and there to earn money and to build the empires for us and relatives. But just remember ,we also carry our obligations and responsibilities towards society, religion and nation. If we can do our share for them that can certainly add to our good deeds. Small things done for others offers much more satisfaction and peace to us. Just have experience of same by doing possible small things for others as taught by Jainism. Arranging drinking water for bird in summer and other work like one can easily do.Same
distribution of blankets on street in winter, can be similar small but essentials job. All great and big things are small when initiated. Let us bear it in mind and start working for it. Let us give it a thought. To provide free medicines or free medical treatment for Jain monks
can also fall in this category. Many doctors make it point to provide
their services to weaker section at free or reduced cost. The list is
endless. The thing needed is ready mind frame of all of us for such.
To cover all water taps in home with cloth bags, may look a small
thing but it can protect tiny souls from water. Similarly to donate
unused wears in home to needy one also a good but needed one. On
road if some sharp objects like nail, blade or knife are noticed then
putting it on a safer place can ensure safety of next pedestrians. Thus
so many small things can be done to prove that a lamp of humanity
is still burning inside the soul. It can be done by small efforts, and less money. Even few sweet words can make difference for a person who is caught in some difficult situation. To help to accident victims, to put warning on oil slippery road such small care points can offer much consolation to sufferers Let us try ,think and practice possible. In so many cities in India people run "Roti Bank" tempo visits and collects waste food. Opposite to Jodhpur railway station, I saw 24x7 run concessional food thali and tea at a minimum token fee of Rs.10. In kitchen ladies can prefer to cut vegetables by hand instead of use of choppers. As such she can note tiny insects inside and initial little pain to vegetable. All put together is termed as Yatana care for others
A sticky note of "Namo Sidhhanam" at eating places at home or Derasar or Sthanak can easily remind to chat Mantra before food.Just give a thought to concept, options can be endless coming out.

All Jains have celebrated this Savastari to it's fullest. The last day of Parryushan is marked as Savastari and supported with Aalochana and Khamatkamna. Both are much important soul cleaning tools indeed.
Aalochana means regretting own misdeeds and "Khamatkhamna " means asking forgiveness from all living souls for harshness if any towards them. It is not to be done as a formality but requires very meaningful efforts from the soul seeking it backed by real feelingd.
If a same sin is committed frequently then it takes concrete shape making it difficult to nullify it. But if one adds a feeling of regret and decides not to make it again or to a lesser extents ,then it takes a washable form. A yearly review of own deeds make it possible
Gurudeo told to spare twenty minutes for these two rituals( on daily basis if possible). First we have to list down all 18 sins on a plain paper. Then to review past year being cut off date as Savastari. We have to weigh compulsions and intensity to commits such sins. We can warn our soul that it is prohibited by Jinwani but committed by us. So just have regret and decide not to do it again or to maximum possible lower extent. It is true Aalochana to reduce burden of soul.
Second part is Khamatkhamna. It is not just picking up mobiles and to call known circle or to send mails of Khamatkhamna. Again we have to note down five major disputes in past, heated arguments and quarrels that we made during the last year. At least two cases you will note that you were wrong or could have been avoided. Just think of the injury to receiving soul. You have to address to them with heart felt sorry saying "I was rude for that time, please forgive me" It can be a true Khamatkhamna. It is a two way ritual--secondly we have also to forgive others who dealt with you with cruelty just as Bhagwan forgave Chandkoushik snake.
Medical research has covered study of heart to good extent but study of brain is yet to be completed. Heart may forget the mistakes of others but brain tends to keep Xerox of it to it's tiny cell for future.To wash it out it fully from it is a real challenge. Let us use this unique opportunity given by Jainism to clean our soul and march on road of salvation. Let us start new year with clean slate for self and others. Be careful for dealings with others. The homes where seniors are available has tradition to do Aalochana in group at home from books known as "Brihataalochna" by Shri Ranjitji Shrawak
and Jadavjisati. It covers all sins in lucid language and stanzas. One
must aim to do from it.
