AAYUSHYA BANDH AND PARYUSHAN---JAINISM.

According to Jainism life fixation movement comes only once in entire life time for every one. Individual cannot know it, As it is of Anabhognivatiniya nature------ ( It means life fixation without self awareness unknowingly ). It can occur any moment after 2/3 rd passage of current life cycle till last Antarmuhurta of life. It refer to
 a ( period of less than 48 minutes ) span. Let us study other feature.
Current life was already fixed in same way in immediately current preceding Life. No body can change it. Six fixation is made at this time-i.e.-Jati, Gati, period, shape. Pradesh and Anubhag.- -Jati means variation of organs ( Ekendriya to Panchendriya ), Gati means four categories ( animal to Deo),shape refer body structure-Avagahana, Pradesh mean Karma that will arise to give results and Anubhag means severity of Karmas to be faced. For details one can refer holy
Bhagwati Sutra 06/08 chapter. The Shatak give detailed information.

Major chances of such life  fixation is on Shukla Panchmi  day of Bhadrapada month .On this day the Mahaparva of Jain Paryushan ends. The day is known as Sawantasry, Hence the entire period is celebrated by Jain with full religious acts to provide engagement in good thoughts .No doubt the entire accumulated Karmas play main role. It is just like sudden examination of a soul taken by it's own Karma without declaring time table. In routine life we can see the
special feature of a particular day. Let us check some examples of it.
On a particular festival of another faith many goats loose their lives
On festival like Dushera or Diwali many flowers loose lives. So this particular Panchmi day of Sawassatri is major for all of Jain. So for good state of mind in those period Mahveer Bhagwan suggested to follow Paryushan Parva, so that we can be in good frame of mind.
The moment involves shaping of self new birth and  it's subsequent surroundings ,one must be caution for own thoughts and conduct. So every Jain must do maximum religious activities in this Parva.

BIG OBSTACLES FOR SALVATION---WRONG BELIEFS AND ATTACHMENT---!!!

 Major obstacles for attaining salvation  are wrong beliefs. They are
( Mithyatava ) and conduct out of it. Second one is love, affection or hate ( Mohniya ), towards own body, relatives, friends, other living things and rest of  non-living things possessed by self or family.
 Love for such non living things can be-of various types being-- land, building .bungalow. ornaments etc.  Every one is knowing the fact that, we come to this world alone and definitely will go alone. As a universal truth everybody enters the world with empty hands also goes without any thing in his hands. Even knowing this basic
 non changeable rule, our love for our circle is not reduced.

This attachment give birth to insecurity of all sorts. The fear is the only basis of business of all types of insurances offered. We never try to reduce our love for living or non living things. At the time when death is knocking the door, this attachments makes it more painful. The basic thing that birth and death is beyond human control is conveniently forgotten. As a result current life is made miserable along with delayed salvation. A soul having too much possessions become too disturbed while passing through his last moment of lile,
Secondly we know right path preached by Thirthankar Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami. We can give up all false beliefs and can advance on Moksha- Path . Following wrong path makes salvation difficult.
For small gain or relief we forget Karma theory and seek shelter
else than Bhagwan Mahaveer. In the process we go through wrong
faith and that shakes our basic precious foundation of Samkit.
Wrong beliefs ( Mithyatava) are being categorized under ten main heads and 15 additional heads. Here we can see  major 10 heads.
1- Treating living things as non-living.
2- Treating non-living things as living. Various statues and photo.
3- To treat correct religion as wrong religion.
4- To treat wrong religion as correct one.
5- To treat real Saadhu (Monk) as wrong Saadhu.
6- To treat wrong Saadhu as true Saadhu.
7- Treating domestic life as a way to salvation
8- Treating way to salvation as a way to domestic life.
9- Treating free souls from Karmas as non-free one.
10-Treating  non free souls as free souls.
Balance  wrong beliefs are  summarized as following in brief------.
 Aabhigrahik( belief without logic),Anabhighrahik(Without judging
merits and demerits),Abhineshik. ( not changing wrong views), Sansashiyikm, (doubts),Anabhog (without proper thoughts),
Lokik (Beliving other than Jain Bhagwan),Lokottar (asking for domestic pleasures from Jain Bhagwan ),Kupravachnik,(attending
lectures of other preachers ) Less. extra or opposite faith other than Jainism, Akriya, Adnyana, Avinay (disrespect),Ashatana Mithyatva.
Ashatana means disrespect of any or five Panch Parmesthi.
Right faith comes from study of 9 Tatva, Swadhaya of Aagam and
listening of Suguruwani. We shall engage ourselves constantly on
great this path. Without giving Mithyatva- Samkit is not possible,
Without Samkit Moksha is not possible. So it is, almost necessary to clear those two major obstacles to attain salvation. Rest obstacles are easy to clear. Let us study Jainism and it's principles so as to make our march on salvation path easy. This is the secret behind Mahaveer
Bhagwan has made Diksha compulsory to get salvation. Only monk can conquer Mithathv and attachment in better ways.

18 SINS AS PER JAINISM--------!!! PART-1.

We hear that one shall not engage in act of sins. Unless we know, what causes it, we are not able to avoid it or reduce it. Even as a true follower of Bhagwan Mahaveer, we have to condemn such sins. Jainism categorizes such sins in eighteen 18 heads. Let us study them
First five are- Violence, Untruth, Theft, Abrama & Possessiveness
depicted as below image. Abrama means absent from relationships.
Theft is not uncommon. One can easily read or heard theft even at religious places, temples or trusts. No doubt it is a bigger crime and sin than theft done to quench the stomach hunger by a lay man.

 
 Next thirteen------ 13 sins are-Anger, Arrogance, Deceit, Greed, Attachment, Hate, Quarrel, Accusation, Gossip, Criticism, Like and Dislike, Malice and Wrong faith. We have to give up all those sins. 
Let us check Hindi-translation of  all sin for better understanding.
Pranatipaat,Mrishawad,Adattadan.Maithun,Parigraha,Krodh,Maan,Maya,Lobh,Raag,Dwesh,Kalah,Abhyakhan ( wrong allegations),
Peshunya ( gossip),Parpariwad  (taunt or malign),balance three are---
Rati-Arati( joy for liked things and hate for disliked things),Maya-Mrushawad ( lie with cunning sense ) and Mithyadarshanshalya,

First five sins are against basic principles of Jainism. Violence is killing of living ones including eating eggs, fish, meat etc.It is taking out any one or more organ, element out of 10 known as "Pran". All Pran are essential to hold life for any one. If one is running restaurant as a franchise having vegetarian and non vegetarian food ,he is incurring first most prohibited sin of violence. He is directly get the connection  and involvement in depriving animals from lives.
 One can argue that, even eating vegetables amount to killing them,  then how does it is justified, It is correct ,but it is bare minimum necessary to keep us going. If it is done with feeling of regret ,there is less sin since vegetables have one organ -Sparshnedriya . While hen, fish, goat have five organs. When they are being cut the  
 pain to their soul feeling is much greater ever beyond imagination. 
Study of these sins and keeping one self away or trying to minimize it ,can help soul to have minimum negative Karmas. Needless to say that Karma theory governs our destiny and happiness ,sorrows in current and next lives series. So one must be careful.If one decides to reduce sins or remain absent from it,his "Charitra-Mohniya" Karma gets reduced. It can allow him to do more religious activities, take Samaik,Pachkan.We can see it in own house for practical checking.

 Sins for all above can be attached to soul in threefold ways--done by self. authorized others to do and approval by self. More over those attachment is by any or all components of mind, speech and body actions. It is known Yog & Karan .There can be various combination.

 As we dislike harm to our self, just  think how harm to others by us can go unpunished .We cannot avoid consequent punishment if such Karmas are not nullified or reduced by "Pratikaman" or "Micchami Dukadam" regret feeling. Some sins, even cannot be undone by it.
Let us be grateful  to Lord Mahaveerswami to explain us the sins and their after effects, so that we can avoid them at our best. Otherwise, we would have never bothered about them. His debts cannot be paid.

In Bhagwatisutra 01/09 chapter while answering question of  Guru
Gautamswami Bhagwan Mahaveerswami explained 18 sin as reason  causing heaviness of soul. Such weight gives us birth in hell and increase our life and death cycles. Later on those sins were adopted in Pratikaman for use of Shrawaks to reduce such sins.

Last sin "Mittyadarshanshalya" means wrong faith---- not following Lord Mahaveer's teaching is most dangerous and may deprive us of Jainism in future. So friends just decide to keep away from all these sins and aim for salvation. One thing must to know in connection with sins. Sins are never get subtracted from good deeds. They need to be suffered separately unless nullified. Sins causes payment
of adverse nature as we pay interest on loan. While good deeds or
Punya is getting interest on fixed deposits.

Bahot Kiya Hai,Abhi Na Karenge, Kabhi Nahi Kabhi Nahi Re-!"
We all Bhavi devotees are definitely a future "Siddhas." Hence it is almost necessary that we shall keep safer distance from 18 sins so as looking back we should definitely not regret our late salvation. Just note all 18 sins are being committed each x6 by mind, speech and body. 2,11.12,13,14 and 17 are by speech .Sayam is best tool to cut off from all of 18 sins. Let us try our best to cut from all possible .

JAINISM----SIX LESHYAS---COLOR OF SOUL-------!!!..

Soul is colorless still Jainism gives a imaginary concept of Leshaya so that one shall be careful for his all actions. Leshya is term used to denote color of feeling within soul. We can see the color of body as fair, then whitish, brown or black. In the similar fashion each soul is supposed to change it's color as per change in his feelings and his the intention for actions. When one is boiling with anger his face gives a different red outlook. Similarly when we visit temple or monk a holy
soul like Sadhu our face and eyes glitter with joy respect and peace.
These feeling are being measured by thermometer of color termed as Leshya  beingdivided in 6 categories. Let us study same in brief------.

1 Krishna -( black) Leshaya-- This soul is burning with anger and engaged in most negative thinking for others. Life of others is not important for him. Rude and absolutely non-caring attitude signaled.
2- Neel----( blue) Leshya-- Selfish and arrogance with  no value for others engaged in various cheating plan to cheat others for own gain.
3-Kapot Leshaya-Bad conduct and speech. Always sad and gloomy. This color resembles color of pigeon.
 These 3 leshaya are negative one while following three are positive. 
4-Tejo Leshaya- ( yellow)-This soul is sensitive for his action care for feelings of others and is full of religious actions and thoughts.
5-Padam Lesya-Religious with minimum negative points. He is kind and of  helping nature for all living souls doing best possible.
6-Shukla ( Snow-White) - He is follower of right  knowledge and right faith constantly trying for attaining salvation at earliest. Out of 14 Gunastana the Leshya classification is-1 to 6 stage  can have all 6 Leshaya,7th Gunstan Tejolesya, Shukla and Padam from 8-12 Sthan
only "Shuklaya Lesha".14 th Stan is Leshya-less liberated souls.

As a rule Leshay at the time of death indicates the Gati the particular soul is going to get in next birth. The various feelings in our action is explained in the following image. Here basic purpose is to have fruit from tree. Six persons adopt different methods to have it. It explains state of their mental attitude, they are engaged in a different actions from cutting of tree to collecting already fallen without harming tree.
The person ready to cut tree is marked by cruel thinking, while the person who is not going for any detachment of fruit from tree is one caring for life of others. Thus one must be very careful for his action, speech and feeling all the time. Thus the study warns us to avoid bad
action and bad thinking to avoid ill effects of bad Leshyas. One may be different to outer world by his sweet words but may have different smart plans within mind, brain and heart. Soul express all intentions.
Naturally his soul cannot have positive color. So friends this is an a

unique gift of Jainism to study color of soul of a individual. Briefly
your action and thoughts are representative of color of your soul. In reality soul is invisible and colorless but body reflect it's color.Try to live life with last three Leshya as for as possible to avoid bad Karma.

JAIN UNIVERSE AND 4 GATI----------!!!

Before attaining salvation soul travels through four categories known as Gati. Hell or narki birth is taken to clear wrong deeds. Thiyanch gati means life of plants, animals .soil, water,fire.air and  last moving (Trasakaay). Mostly we starts journey from Thiriyanch /Nigod Gati.
Manushya Gati is for doing all possible good things, Heaven is for ripping fruits of good deeds with birth as super human- Deo. It may be difficult to digest but all of us has taken birth in all four categories number of times except few exceptions .Very few fortunate souls as 
like Moradevimata has taken maximum three live to attain salvation. 

For salvation seekers birth in human is regarded best in all those four
categories for two reasons. One can  take Diksha and become monk only in human life. In this life only one can attain right and complete knowledge and complete faith (Kewaldyan and Kewaldarshan) and get salvation through this Gati only. Hence for maximum human try
efforts to cut off bad Karma, one has to use human life to the fullest.

In heaven there is full wealth ,luxury and comforts. But they cannot engage in religious activities. Deolog is being dominant by money, wealth and full comforts and enjoyment. It cause increase in the life cycles. Still if any particular soul is being accompanied by Jainism knowledge in any heaven, he can have correct faith and  they can visit Thirthankara Bhagwan to offer respect to worship Viharmanji.
Human with mind has10 Pran. Same is case with soul in hell and heaven. Pran means essential tools and organs to live life. They are
five organs, mind, speech, skin, breathing and life span. We start life
from Ekeinrda and reach to Panchendriya. Ekendriya soul has only
4 Pran- touch. skin. breathing and life. Beindriya get 2 additional as
taste and speech. Teindriya get 1 additional smell. Choendriya gets
additional eye. Ordinary Panchedriya gets 1 additional hearing and
at last complete Pnachendrya gets mind known Sanni Pnchendriya.
Frog is example of Pancedriya without mind (Asanni ).Ant has three organs only body, smell and taste. Mosquito or butterfly get only one added organ as eye. Panchedriya are fortunate to have  all five organ. Basics Stawar - air, water, fire have 1 organ and worm has body and 
smell one can refer 36 chapter Uttaradhyansutra"- Mahaveerswami. 


As per our deeds we take birth in various location of universe. Jain Universe concept is explained in following as "Jambudivpa image".

On top of Universe it is place for pure soul attain salvation known as Siddhashila. It's  below it is location for heaven, At the end ,there are 7 hells . On surface of first hell there is Human world called as Manushya Lok. Presently we reside in Bharat- Khetra. It is called as Jambudivpa, It is at middle level. The real universe is too vast than what we study in present geography. One has to rely on Jainism only  for universe study if one is really interested in knowing truth. Then so many of our beliefs will undergo radical and magical changes. We witness  a single "Kalchakra" of 20 Kodakodi Sagaropam having 2 periods 10 KS  known as Utsarpini and Awaasarpini. Each Chakra has 24 Thirthankars in part of 3,4 and small part of Pancham Aara.

Bhagwan has informed that beyond universe there is "Alok" where there is only sky and other 5  Drayas are missing .He further added that forever this design of whole universe will remain as it is. For us present world of 6 continentals is too big with one Sun and moon, If one studies "Jambudiwpapranati Aagam" he can find that world is only a dot compared to universe. Jambudiwpa has total 132 each sun and moon. Beyond that they are numerous suns and moons.

JAINISM--14 STAGES OF SPIRITUALITY (GUNASTHAN)

In physical world we see growth of a child from childhood to old age with passage of time.Similarly for spiritual world Jainism provide 14 stages. First stage is "Mithyatav " it means wrong faith and the final
last or 14th one is salvation or Moksha. Those steps are termed as a "Gunstanstana".Through those 14 stages a soul passes to attain the
salvation. When a particular soul enters transaction zone ( termed as ("Vyavahar Rashi ") he enters first stage. After his so many cycles of
life and deaths eligible Bhavi souls reaches the last 14th stage to be Siddha. Abhavi soul means who could not gave up wrong faith does 
not reach Moksha ,we can discuss  stages with following given chart.
Mahaveer Swami himself cleared all these steps. As an ordinary lay human ,we are not able to know present status of our standing on this ladder of 1 to 14 stages. Generally it is believed that real "Shrawak" and "Sadhu" stands on 5th and 6th stage of ladder respectively.
1---1 to 3-- Here soul is passing through wrong faith and wrong knowledge. Generally crores and crores year consumed to clear this stages. Once correct faith touched, soul leaves first long stage. Then
his faith may be mixed one, partly correct and partly wrong.
 2--4 to 5- Here soul posses right knowledge-He start believe right path and follow conduct in partial or full as per Jainism principles. In 5th stage the soul becomes twelve Vratadhari  Jain Sharavak .
 3--6- The soul takes Dikha become Sadhu ( Monk ) by giving up domestic life but not conquered all negative points i.e. Pramad.
4--7 to 12- Here the soul being a monk progressively conquers all negative points falling and regaining virtue .Seventh is most difficult
stage to reach. Once a soul reach it, there is no rebirth for him as the
Aayushyabandha is only up to 6th stage."Apramatta Sadhu" is a most difficult stage. A soul builds "Aayushya Bandh" only up to  6th step. Once he reaches 7th stage then if not fallen to Mittav reach 13th . 
5-13 & 14- In 13th stage the soul attains full correct knowledge and full correct faith known as Kevaldyan and Kevaldarshan known as Kewali Bhagwan with physical body. In 14th stage the soul gives up physical body and attain pure form of soul and attain salvation for
ever and reside permanently
 in Siddasheela. Here the highest, noble mission  of soul ends forever. The soul never takes birth again.
Let us give up 1 to 3 stages in current life and follow-.5, 6.7 stages at least in current birth. So that we can be more near to our aimed destination of getting Moksha or salvation. It can end all life cycle.
After getting Samkit 6th and 13th these only stages cover maximum time.7-12th stage period is small with sentiments only Antamuhurta. 
One important things about these stages is also a ray of hope for all
concerned souls. These stages can be changed by our character and
faith improvement. There are maximum chances a soul gets in a
life time are as next lines.12,13 and 14 stages one can get in all his
lives is only 1 time.1,3,4 and 5 stages in a single life minimum one
and maximum 9000 times. 2 and 11 stage minimum one and can be maximum 2 times.6 and 7 minimum 1 maximum 99 times.8,9,10
stage minimum 1 and maximum 4 times. Thus if one is engaged in
constant self improvisation he can reach to higher stage, One need
to be constant engaged to keep the higher stage achieved. Readers please not without Samkit, we cannot uplift our soul out of wrong faith.For Samkit and Moksha Bhagwan's Jinwani is the only option.
