JAINISM-RELIGIOUS MEMORIES OF CHILDHOOD-------!!!-------PART---2.

Friends memories cannot be said to be completed unless one shares memories of parents .Parents and teachers play a major role to shape
mental frame of a kid. I was not exception to this basic rule. On the
contrary, I was more gifted compared to my counterparts. My father was an educated personality. In British era of pre- independence .he
has completed matriculation. he was well read. Many poems and Sholaks from Geeta, Manache-sholak, he remembered well. He was
well traveled for Gurudarshan and Thirth. I remember visiting with
him to Ahmedabad, Jodhpur and many other Thirth. Yearly he used
to welcome devotees with sugar juice on Mahveer Jyanti. As per
family legacy he used to practice preaching of Pujya Jaymaljiguru.
He has a deep faith for Jainism. Due to engagement he failed to be
fully engaged in it. He has too many friends in town. T hat can be a good thing from living in small town. Almost whole town get to
know you well and vice versa. His generation may not have a
higher education in today's term. But they all were highly educated
in art of living. I never saw a fear or nervousness on his face even

facing odds of life. He was a ardent believer of Karma theory of our
Jain religion. I still recall his four Sutra of life as he usually spoke.
1.As per his simple Karma theory all living soul are being governed
by self built Karmas. Not a single other force can trouble us. He
taught me to keep silence in bad time and move on silently. As per
his theory to challenge time and destiny may invite more trouble.

2.-Marathi Sant Tukaram has one famous Abhang."Aaliya Bhogasi
Asave Sadar".It means we must face all risen Karma with coolness.
Tukarammaharaj and Ramdaswami were his favorites one.
3.-His favorite 1 liner was "Honi Ko Namskar Hai".Honi means
happening. Whatever happens, respect it and move on softly. To
adjust with happenings or events is only available in our hands.
4.-Forth simple one liner his father taught him and he shared with
us. It was " Niti Mein Khot Nahi".Niti derived from Hindi word
"Niyat"means intentions and Khot means wrong. Never to act with wrong intentions. Your decisions may be wrong but never with bad
or wrong intentions of harming others. It makes one fearing sins.
I was witness to  possible extent of his major up and down between
his period (1926 to 1992) including his illness. I was surprised to
imagine how he carried on his struggle. Till today I am proud of him
and his generation .I really wonder how his generation lived life with such a easy attitude for life together. Caring for each other and the
strong bondage with religion was their basic foundation .It helped
all of them to live a king size life even with less money. no any
other help of laptop, net or Google and less or no medical facilities.
He treated his whole circle as one family. As a senior member ,he
took care of each one without caring for personal financial loss.
I remember a Urdu-sher for his fighting spirit. It says like this---.
( Nakudha means sailor and Langar means parking rope of ship).

Lastly I remember my mother for her determination. She was not
much educated. But at advice of Gurumata, she learnt Pratikaman
after reaching plus 50 years of age. Her speed of work, expertise in
cooking and ability to bought up kids was really amazing. I feel proud for both of them and their entire generation. One needs to
have much positive accumulated Karmas to have such parents.
I am sure everyone from us must have such wonderful parents.
At last pay my tribute to my dad with his favorite song of Kavi
Pradeep. With philosophy similar to song he tried his best to offer
help to his his possible level to his circle, friends and relatives .It is
but natural in time of distress so many hands backed him.

JAINISM--RELIGIOUS MEMORIES OF CHILDHOOD-------!!!------PART---1.

Friends with moving of Gurudeo ,unseen force guiding me to pen down blog was missing. It created a void for me. This gap coupled
with February 2020 communal riots in Delhi made me sad. Riots
are not uncommon in India since days of partition. Slowly reaction
is changing. Previously majority felt bad for such incidents. Now a
small class enjoy the category of dead's caste. No doubt still news
of silver lining coming to ears. Some one giving shelters to other
casts ,while some are protecting worship places of other religion.

All this forced me to revisit my childhood's memories. For all of us
childhood period is a golden period.Reasons may be different  but  this period opens gates of sweet memories for all of us. One reason
I feel each time past time was richer in values than current one. The
old time of 1960 was different. People were trusting each other very
easily. There was no need to pass through security checks in shops,
malls, stations etc. Small bunch of bad people has damaged forever
the structure ,innocence and trust of society and nation as a whole.

I belonged to small town in Maharashtra state of Dhulia district.
Our town has a real cosmopolitan culture. Nobody was bothered to
check out other people's religious practices, food habits or speaking
languages. Each one is busy in one's business. Main reason was
lack of money. Till 1991 the rupee has small but real value. T hen the number of Rupee flows increased with reduction in  real value.
No doubt it resulted in fall of moral values also. We used to practice
religion as per individual legacy. At the same time ,we had mutual
respect for other's faith. I have friends from all communities. I used
to visit Sthanak, Jain Derasar for a while doing small time Puja
with Navkar and Loggas. Whenever monks visited town going for
their Darshan was a must. This was my practice of Jain religion.
But rest of times with friends I also visited Hindu temples ,Kirtan
and other holy places. When my Muslim friend decided to go to
Ajmer Sharif for blessing, he took group of his five friends along
with his ailing father ,I was in his group. With my mother I attended
many ladies religious festivals like Teej, Gingor, Shitlamata Pujan.
Attending Satyanarayan Puja andNavratri Dandiya was common.
From Rajastan there were special team of play group doing play
of Ramayana. Ramdeobaba and puppet show. Vridavan Pandit did
Kirtan of Shrikrisna and Mahabharat at a  regular yearly basis.

Now, moving to metropolitan city, I missed it all. With influence of
Gurudeo,I could understand Jainism to a basic level. Gurudeo made
me to understand Samkit and it's requirement. It brought change in
me .confining me to single worship of Mahaveerswami Bhagwan.
On the same hand, with my childhood gift, I never forget to respect
faith of others. For all of us senior lot ,it is a need of an hour that we
impart training to our kids to value price of a single life ,respect the
freedom of religious faith and to keep away from hate crimes. For a
mob of rioters use of a fire stick with petrol may be a small thing
but ,the subsequent destruction burn countless dreams forever.

Let us learn from our mistakes. What happened in Delhi shall act as
eye-opener for all of us. Check own self that we are not failing in
our duty towards  nation and social building by imparting liberal
training to our kids. Teach them if human is missing what purpose
the holy places built so far will be serving------------------------???.

JAINISM--BHAVI AND ABHAVI SOUL DIFFERENCE----------------!!!.

Friends, it was a much time gap since Gurudeo moved from my location. I happened to attend a distant place to attend wedding of my relative. In a chat with local relatives, I came to know presence of Gurudeo in same city. I extended my stay for a day and attended
Gurudeo's question and answer session. Here is the brief coverage.
A devotee put a question to Gurudeo" Sir, I have heard concept of
Bhavi and Abhavi souls from you in last few sessions. I am worried
for future of my son who is leading a free life style. He never visit
any Sthanak or Derasar. Has very little faith for Jainism. Can you
guide me if he is Bhavi or Abhavi. Can he will ever change -----" ?
Looking at him Gurudeo started answer "You have asked a very
important issue. I try to explain it for benefit of all of us. It is very
difficult for me to tell for any one if he is definitely a Bhavi or no,
Only Kewali Bhagwan with their Kewaldyan and Kewaldarshan.
(Current behavior may give some hints, but they are not conclusive)

can give a definite answer as they are able to look into all the three
periods of any soul. Here I can share information and criteria of it.
Bhavi  soul means a soul who has power to cut off all wrong faiths
and follow Bhagwan Mahaveer's path exactly. You cannot stamp
your son as Abhavi for his conduct in a single life. One can be very
much surprised to know that even present Bhavi souls have lived so
many cycles of lives in wrong faith. Bhavi only can get salvation.
As a fact all Bhavi will get Moksha definite at different time point.

To understand whole concept clearly let us start from initial stage of Nigod (Tiny plants for example in Hindi it is called "Shewal".It
is green colored plants near river or ponds) From such smallest
living soul, generally soul starts journey. Initially there are 2 types.
One is operational category and second one is non operational one.
They are termed as " Vyavhar and Avyavhar Rashi". All Abhavi
souls are from beginning in operational class where they can go to
all 4 Gati. But future Bhavi souls are in " Avyavhar Rashi" .When
a noble soul gets liberated ,then the future Bhavi souls leaves the
non operation class and starts life in all four Gatis. For Abhavi| souls

there is nil possibility to get liberated. They will carry on living in
all four Gati as per Karmas built. They cannot be Bhavi by any tool.
As Bhagwan explained to Jayantishrawika, Bhaviness is natural.
Bhavi soul may fall to wrong faith after touching Samkit but they
will recover to correct one at some point.

When after numerous life cycles ,a soul touches Samkit or correct
faith he changes status from "Krishnapakshi" to " Shuklapakshi".
A Shuklapakshi can get salvation in "Ardhapudgalparavartan",.It is
the rule in general.Few exception can be there as of Marudevimata.
She simply had only three Bhav to get Moksha and become Siddaha.
In simple terms it can be minimum 15 lives- 7 in Deologa and 8 in
human life. A prior condition to it that the particular soul has done
with all 6 steps. They are Bhavi,Samyakdristhi,Paritsansari,Sulabh
Bodhi,Aardhak and Charimshariri. Bhavi souls will become monk
in last life.will attain Kewaldyan and Kewaldarshan  get liberated.

                             ये संत बडे़ ही निराले है ! जिनशासन के उजाले है !
                 इनकी महिमा क्या गाये हम सबको तिराने वाले है !
                 वीर के कोहिनुर हिरों को वंदन है अभिनंदन है ! ...........!

Abahvi are also called "No-Bhavy".They can have birth up to nine
Greveyak and can achieve knowledge up to 9 Purva. Siddha Prabhu
are called "Nobhavya-Noabhavya" as they are achieved last status.
So there is no reason to get disappointed for future of your son. As
he will cut negative Karmas covering correct faith and knowledge
,he will be automatically attracted to Bhagwan's Jainism. Only tool
in your hand as a parent to brief him his good fortune to get birth in
Jain background. To waste such golden opportunity is not a wise
thing to do. May he will get such a life time opportunity after gap
which may run into numerous life cycles. One need to keep a watch
that he is free from bad company and bad habits .Otherwise it will
be a difficult task to bring him back on track "Gurudeo concluded.

JAINISM--FACING THE DIFFICULT TIME----!!!--PART-2.

Friend here is next and final part of Gurudeo's guidance for devotee
"I believe for physical issues you may be guided by doctors. Even
most doctors in India used to display signboard in their clinic. Now
one must not make mistake God for super power. The sign refer to
individual destiny. God do not interfere in personal matters. First of
all if He can, He will not give health issues to anyone at the first instance,He guide us to achieve salvation. Salvation ends all issues of body. You can regain good health if you go far frequent fast.
daily dinner before sunset and use of boiled or ash mixed water. In
this period take care not to fall in trap of God man, astrologer and
palm readers etc. .Better to read Aagam and Jain Granths.
Now on spiritual front do not loose connectivity to religion. Often in
weak moments, one start disliking religion. One thinks, what is the
use of such religion, which fails to support me in dark movements.
This can be a biggest blunder of your life. It the religion which at
least keeping you going on. With religion practice, the bad Karmas
are getting milder before attacking you. Not for a single movement allow your faith on Jinwani to be shaky and on slippery ground.
Try to have a Samaik.,hearing Manglik and Chatting Navkarmantra as minimum on daily basis. If possible do not miss Gurudarshan.
You may be tired of wait and watch approach, waiting endlessly for
positive turning of things. Have faith as it is said spring follows the
autumn or every dark night ends with dawn. There is no point in

crying over split milk. Just bear in mind the basic of Karma theory.
All particles stored in Karman body are to be faced. The design of
particles is termed as"Karmadalik".On maturity one has to face it.
One must have example of  Pujya Bhagwan Mahaveer while facing the adverse time .Bhagwan in a short span of 72 years cleared huge
negative Karmas. You can try meditation with Puchhisunam and
12 Bhavna to avoid Aartyadyan. Try to get engage into good work
in religious filed like working as teacher in Jainpathshala like.one
can use this adverse time to grow in spiritual section. I remember
in similar situation I left domestic life to become monk. This time
you can learn a lot from life being isolated from friend, relative and
society. In such a darkness do not ever think of suicide .Just have a
reading of Bhagwan's last line in "Uttaradhyansutra" 36 chapter. He
narrated the serious results of more life cycles for such attempts.
With human life and birth in Jain religion you are in a better and
privileged state of life to fight adversaries. Hope to see you in the
better state of life when I visit to your place in future" Gurudeo has

concluded his guidance. I  looked at him and slowly turned off my
neck, I could not gather courage to watch his tearing eyes. I prayed for him and left  the venue after bowing down to Gurudeo.

JAINISM--FACING THE DIFFICULT TIME----!!!--. PART-1.

This Sunday was last lecture of Pujya Gurudeo at our suburb before moving to a new destination. I made it a must point not to miss this.
Here is the related coverage. In question answer session one devotee
with due permission put a question to Gurudeo "Sir can you please
guide me  how to face difficult time .Since last 5 years I am going
through a very testing time mentally and physically. I do not wish to
elaborate it in this hall but you can guess it. While you were here, it was a source of strength ,now your moving will be a great loss and
darkness for me" With a choked voice he said. Gurudeo looked  him
and replied "Certainly. I will try it with Bhagwan's teachings. There
is no darkness till the Jinwani is with you all. Mind well. here you
are not alone. In present time it is the same case with all of living
one. Anyhow you have gathered courage to speak out while others
are keeping to their heart. Those sufferings souls are going through
is a feature of this period. As Mahaveer Swami has warned this fifth
cycle of Avasarpini  is called as "Dukham Aara".The total period of
21000 years will be marked by maximum sorrows. Thus you might
have noticed that our grandfather lived a more happy and tension
free life than our father. As the name suggests day by day this era
will be watching fall in moral values, ethics and peace. Even with
running after so called happiness we will invite additional sorrows.
The time is not to be blamed alone. We will cover other points also.
This period is termed as "Pancham Aara" in Aagam.

Please note following references of Bhagwatisutra ,from which I,
intend to guide this august house. Please have a homework for it.
1.-12/05-Bhagwan told Karma is shaping all changes in our lives.
2.-01/02-All living souls has to face Karma on maturity time. Those
Karma were built by the particular soul facing it.
3.-03/03-There is first Karma and then result. Result do not happens
without action out of sudden or  on trial basis.
4.-16/02-Souls with mind will have additional mental sorrows.
5.-01/03-Karma are of two type-Pradeshkarma and Anubhagkarma.
While all Karmas have to faced, Pradeshkarma one may not felt. But
Anubhag Karma has to be faced as built in case of Nikachitkarma,
One can reduce the severity of other than Nikachit with Nirjara
before they get matured. All above clearly emphasis the role of the
rise of Karma in our lives. With reading Bhagwan's Karma theory
and putting full faith into it, you can guess the root cause of sorrow.

As a basic rule of Jainism, we all have to suffer alone in silence.
Guru, relatives, friends no one can share the pain on our behalf.
Others can only pray and sympathize for you. Take a example, if
you happened to taste  chilly powder, you will taste the burning for
the particular moment. As a proverb the wearer can only know how
the shoe is troubling him. Even I can guess your sufferings but I do
not have remedy to put immediate end to it. I can guide you only to
face the results calmly. I knew that it is but natural to loose calm and
peace in adversities for a lay man. But as a follower of Mahaveer
Swami, Jain are at a better position to bear the shocks. Now, I will
discuss your personal case as a sample study for all of you.

Friends, since Gurudeo continued the session for another 15 minutes,
I will cover the balance lecture in next second part of this blog .

JAINISM--NAVKAR MANTRA FULL TEXT----------!!.

Friends my attendance to Gurudeo's lecture on  last full dark day (Pakkhi) can be very useful for all Navkarmantra lovers and Jain. In
the lecture Gurudeo covered  full text of Navkar. A devotee asked
him why the Mantra  is termed as Navkar. Here is related coverage.
"Devanupriya, today I will cover the full text of Navkarmantra. The
original Mantra has full text .Later on for handy use of lay man, i t
got reduced to present form. Even this edited version covers original
meaning. Let me explain it. This is original one. It is being called
as Navkar because Nav means 9 and Kar means best suited actions.
Bhagwan asked all devotees to live life by bowing to first 5 deities
and by adopting last 4 virtues. Let us learn last four virtues. Even
when Pada are 9,there is "Panch" in full text to keep original intact.

These 9 Pada are used daily 9 days in Navpaad Ayambil Oli. Let us
check it's meaning. You all know the meaning of first 5 Padas. The
sixth Pada is bowing down to correct knowledge. Next is related to
correct faith, next one is bowing down to correct conduct and last
one is bowing down to Tap (Keeping fast and correct conduct).
Here correct means the ways exactly told by Bhagwan Mahaveer
through 32 Aagams. In real sense the last 4 are the ways of getting
salvation. All travelers to path of salvation are covered in first five
deities. All devotees having status of Shrawaks will soon join this
path by taking Diksha and entering  the holy fifth stage of Sadhuji.

As I have already explained this Mantra is totally bowing down to
virtues of soul of all 3 periods. There is no mention of any name
or part of universe. All travelers on this virtue path is definite to get
liberated from cycles of life and death. Navkarmantra is the basic
summary of Jainism. five Pada of five deities cover in all 108 virtue.
They are 12+08+36+25+27 serially. When a soul chat a Navkar ,he
is indirectly bowing down to 108 virtues of all noble souls. Navkar
One must learn all 108 virtues as given in Pratikamana-Sutra.

Navkarmantra is a divine, holy and most auspicious of Jain religion.
One may to try to remember full text. Last four Pada are related to

Dyan, Dharshan. Charitrya and Tap. When we refer the full text one
may call it Navkar. When you refer smaller version it is to be called
as Namokar .It is a slight difference to differentiate Nav-9 nine and
Namo-Namaskar. There is no harm as long as one chat it utmost
sincerity and devotion". Smaller version\s last four lines gives us purpose, result, nature and objects of Navkar .In full text the 6 to 9
lines give tools to nullify all Karmas"  Gurudeo concluded lecture.
