JAINISM-CAN ONE CAN INCREASE LIFE SPAN--------------????


In present age with advanced medical treatment  most of people can believe that ,yes life span can be increased. Jainism does not support said view. Let us examine the related theory by Bhagwan Mahaveer.
 In Bhagwati Sutra in 20th Shatak bhagwan has told that life span is of two types. One is called Sopkrama life ( which can be broken with 7 reasons ) and another one is called Niruprakrama life (which can not be broken by any reason).Only souls from hell and heaven enjoy second type of life. All others belong to first category barring few exceptions. One can refer the relevant reference in Bhagwatisutra.
 As per explanation provided, there are two basic ways of putting any principal or theory for masses. They are Finite ( Nichaya Naya ) and Common or practical parlance (Vayhara Naya ). As per the first finite theory life build by any soul in previous life, can never be changed. What ever reason told to be cause of death was in fact prefixed. The Sopkrama life theory is based on common parlance. Thus even the human, animal or plants enjoy exact term. However there can be a
any attributable or apparent reason. But it is not real cause of death.
Real reason is behavior of soul in last life and life built circumstance.
The seven reasons ,causing so called deaths given in' Sthanang Sutra can be briefly summarized as  being Mental agony, result of weapon or punishment, food ,pain. falling. bite and problems of breathing created. Death can be termed as natural or by otherwise causes.

In Bhagwati Sutra 13 Shatak Bhagwan has specified twelve types of death. Main five among them are Aavichik  Maran -( each moment reduction of life Pudagals ) , Avadhi, ( Again to consume same life Pudgal )Aatyantik (not to consume such Pudagal any more) others-
.Bal-maran ( death without Pachkhan and without Samyag/correct knowledge) and Pandit-maran(death with Pachkhan,Pratikaman and Santhara  Aalochna).Shrawaks and monks can be Balpandit. Pandit

We have two case study to believe the unchangeable life span. First can be studied from 14 Shatak of Bhgwatisutra which tells story of Laavsaptamdeo. This study exactly shows importance of a fraction
of second out of  life term fixation components for death timings. 
Only if such category God could increase life span by  time in which seven grass leaves can be cut off, they would became Siddha. Due to shortage of few moments they have to take birth in high Deologa---- "Sarwarthsidhaviman" with life span of 33 Sagropam. They have to
wait for such long period due to shortage of few seconds to cut their Karmas and become Siddha. Such noble souls  are now enjoying Ekabhavaavtari (A single birth then salvation) status at present.

 Second case study is from life stories of Bhagwan Mahaveer. At the
end of his life span, when he was about to get Moksha, King of God Shakendra requested, Bhagwan to postpone his salvation by fraction seconds since on the scheduled time One planet named Bhasma was dominating the then  running Nakshtra. If Bhagwan  leave the world on that time ,it can cause deteriorating future quality of followers of Jainism. But even knowing it Bhagwan expressed his inability to do it. On prefixed time he left forever.This is power of scheduled time.


 This basic has been very well explained in Brihadaloyana one liner-    "Raee (seed of mustard ) Matra Wadhgat Nahi--------- (addition or reduction) Dekhya Kevaldyan----------------!!. It mean to say---
 (There cannot be deviation even equal to a seed of mustard in what Bhagwan has visualized for any person in his Kewaldyan.)
 Hence the followers of Jainism must remove fear of death and use available time to purify soul to his or her maximum extent

JAINISM- KARMA--- TURNING TO SAMKIT FROM MITTHYATVA-----------!!!.

As a child like many others I was too curious to know who created this world and who is controlling it. How the birth and death timings are decided and how our sufferings or happiness takes shape. There  were so many questions but no clear answers marked the childhood.
With knowledge level at those years-- I easily started believing the thoughts shared with me by seniors. I used to believe that there is a major Gods who are working in different departments like to put to birth, to ensure growth and to give a death call. These God have got personal account of each individual with minute details. Accordingly they decide happiness or misery of person concerned. They can hear prayers and worship made to them and they can issue orders which  can reduce one's sufferings and can grant wishes for happy times. In short we humans are just like puppet controlled by heavenly Gods.

These God are residing in blue sky above us and looking all our actions-small or big. They can take birth on this planet whenever needed or depute their representatives to guide human in bad times.
This was general theory fixed in my mind from childhood based on various stories, Hindi films and discussions with age group friends.
As a child I was fascinated by beautiful color sheds of peacock, big 
oceans Sun-it's power of heat and light, Moon, stars. milky ways, Sky, different sizes of animals from tiny ant to king size big elephant.

Similarly different intellectual levels of individuals, different people with financial position-some are begging for two time meals while others are worried for size of wealth created and it's protection. All these contradictions used to create questions in my mind. Like why God can be partial for his own creatures-? Why there can be deaths in stampede at holy places, accidents to buses used to visit pilgrim places ,killings in school or public places by bombs ,killing of hens or fishes for food, dropping atom bombs on so called enemy country and so on. All the inputs were too confusing but are stayed with me

Why God with all his power fails to protect own innocent products- ?Why there are earthquakes, floods and droughts? Why all of living objects not showing value of life for other living ones- ? If God is there who created him-? Whether such creator was super God. The search for mystery behind the curtain was going on. But the question of first remains unanswered all time until I was connected with true
 Jainism. Now the suspense came to finite end. Doubts got melted. I got introduction to Karma throty from Gurudeo.Gurudeo asked me to read Aagam and intoduced to this powerful master behind curtain. 

 With passage of time and  mixed experiences given by life created challenges to my basic faith. Some incurable deceases for close ones, young widow in family, sudden change in economic conditions from rich to poor and so many other things made me to rethink my faith. Slowly my basic faith was shattered. I turned to study all religious theories available. At last I concluded that Controlling God is a man made concept for providing psychological strength to us  or oneself. Reality is something different. To discover it more study was needed

 Everyone want some point of shelter and blame some one else for his actions and results. This necessity created God concept. Only one good thing done by this concept was that it created some sense of fear in some people engaged in evil deeds and made them little civil. In general, human tried to behave rationally unless is being marked and overtaken by greed and jealousy. It can take evil out of him.
With study of Jainism the Karma theory gave the answer for all the disparities. It told that there is no controlling God but only guiding God free from love and hate having crystal clear soul. He guide one for being good human and to attain salvation. The Universe's nature  is permanent and not confined to Earth only. It has no beginning nor end. It was there, it is there and will be there for ever, This nature is called Anaadi  Annat. Anandi means without the beginning it mean
that it will be for ever. Slowly I started to give up wrong Mittyatva.
There are set rules for smooth operations of  total Universe such as gravity, nature cycles is called as Science. Total things being non living take care of it's own. All contents of Jainism found logical.
Even we will be there in one or another form for ever till we get the salvation. Only our residing place and form of body will change.  The 8 Karmas and soul are shaping present and future of all living things, Jainism helped me to clear all doubts and to provide path for salvation. It also taught to care about Karmas. Unless one believe it,
there will be no answer for all confusion. Many thanks to Gurudeo.   

Only pray to have only Jainism in all those births that I have yet to pass through till salvation. It is essential because then we can have correct faith. With it we will be able to cut life and death cycles.

JAINISM-BHAGWAN MAHAVEER 5 KALYANAK----------!!!

Bhagwan Mahaveerswami is center of faith and knowledge for billions of followers of Jainism. As a last Thirthankara ,he showed the way of salvation to world. It is but natural for everybody to be curious for knowing major events of his life. I am sharing some of
major events of Bhagwan as given in Angasutra--Samvayangsutra. 11,55 and 82 Samyay can be referred for more details of it.

A--Chavan,birth and Diksha---.As a rule Thirthankars get birth in Skhatriya family only. But soul of Bhagwan has made pride of his great family in his birth of Marichi. So after completing life of Deogati from 10th Deologa-Pranat, he came to uterus of mother
Devanandamata ,wife of Bramin Rishabhdatta staying in Bhraman Kundapur. The day was Aashwin Krishna Teras. He stayed with this mother for 82 days.Subsequently, returned to Trishalamata.

 Then ambassador of Shakendra-Harinegmeshideo transferred his soul to mother Thrishalamata, wife of King Siddarath who was ruling Skshtriya Kundalpur. Approx2613 years before present time, Bhagwan took birth. Mata Trishala got the hint of great soul taking birth, when she saw 14 great dreams. Those dreams are being duly covered in another blog in detail. All mothers of Thirthankar see
these fourteen dreams as a hint for arrival of a noble soul to her.
The birth day was Chaitra Shukla Trayodashi and Nakshatra was
Uttarafalguni.It was the same Nakshtra for his Diksha and obtaining Kevaldyan. At age of 30 he took Diksha. He alone took Dikhsha. He got his first food as Kheer by Bhahul. Guru Gautamswami and Sati Chandanbalaji were his main and principle disciples


B-Kevaldyan---After 12.50 years of  Sadhana ,Bhagwan obtained complete knowledge. The day was Vaishakshukla Dashmi. The place was outside of Jumbhikagram Nagar. It was outside skirt of Rujubaluka river and  it was under the tree called Shaal-Vriksha. Bhagwan has fast of two days and was in Ukaduaasan known as Goduhika-Aasan when he obtained this unique great Kewaldyan

C--Salvation-- In Apapa Nagar Bhagwan got salvation .The day was Kartikvadi Amavashya and Nakshtra was being Swati. Before salvation Bhagwan was giving Deshna of Vipak and Uttaradhyan
Sutra ,sitting in Paryank Aasan. His parents Devananda and Mata Rishabhdatta also got salvation. Trishalamata and Siddarthraja took birth in 12th deoloka. 700 disciples of Bhagwan got salvation.This was prior to 2541 years ago. For all those years, this great soul is guiding us for path of salvation. No one can match his achievement 

We bow down to this great soul who showed us way of life and salvation. Let us try to follow path shown by him. Grand Salute--!!!.

JAINISM+ WHAT HAPPENS FIRST--ACTION OR PAIN------!!

Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami told the basic truth to his sixth Gandhar Shri Manditputraji in Shatak 3rd of Bhagwati Sutra. The chapter is named as Karma and vedana .To his question Bhagwan explained the sequence. He told that first action or Karma happens and as a result pain or sorrow follows. Never ever Karma offers suffering first.
Even in exceptional case it never happens that you face any problem without doing such or similar things. One has definitely done such Karma which are giving the results today. For deep study one has to go through Badha and Abhadha period of Karma theory of Bhagwan. Abhadha means in store and Badhakaal means rise of  maturity time from bunch of accumulation. Accumulation stored in Karman Sharir.
So many times in our life with examples of self, relative, friends or society, we get confused. We can not find answer to sufferings even though the conduct of person involved in is unquestionable in present life. Some incurable deceases ,some accidents, sudden financial losses, sudden death of closed relatives one and another, the list of human sufferings is endless. In our life suffering is inevitable.
 Bhagwan has categorically told that, one cannot suffer unless he has committed same or similar Karmas. As a ordinary human without the Kevaldyan ,we fail to know the time of a particular commitment of the particular Karma by us. One wonder if ever he has built Karmas giving such sorrows . If one has full faith in preaching of Bhagwan he can face the sufferings gracefully and in calm and quite way, Thus new karmas will be reduced. For it one must have faith in Jinvachan.
Bhagwan has classified all actions into five main sections of Kriya or actions. They are Kayiki (Done with Body and organs.),Adhikarni (acquisition or making weapons by body or using soul) for 18 sims. 
Pradweshiki( jealousy).Paritapaniki (giving trouble ) and Pranapatiki ( killing ).Last one is too serious and may create "Nikachit Karma".
All results are to be suffered in similar ( Evambhut Vedna) pain or different than original pain (Aneyvambhut Vedna). With Nirjara or good deeds time or severity of some Karmas other than Nikachit
Karma can be changed by self. It is called Anyevambhut Vedna,

 Thus nothing is in our hand, we have to face results with patience and braveness. We must continue to follow Jainism and good deeds. We have to remember that even Bhagwan Mahaveer can not avoid

facing of such results. He suffered lot of suffering and sorrows. But he knew that Karma does not recognize person,it only knew the doer. On  due date ,it has to award result and walk away.

GAJSUKUMALJI-SALVATION IN ONE DAY WITH ZERO BOILING POINT---------!!!

This is the most touching story from "Antagarhsutra"-- I ever had heard. In Paryushan ,when ever I hear it unknowingly each time eyes became wet. In brief ,Gajsukumalji was son of Devakimata and the younger brother of Lord Shrikrishna who ruled Dwarikanagari. Kid was christened as Gajsukumal since he was too delicate as our palate Shrikrishna has selected Soma ,the daughter of Somil Bramin to be bride of Gajsukumalji. It was a perfect and beautiful matching  pair.

In early youth Gajsukumal, refused to get married Gajsukumal told
parents desire to take Dikha and become monk. With this proposal Devakimata and Shrikrishna were highly shocked.They were unable to restrain Gajsukumal from his determination to give up the wish to become a monk. He was a "Charam-Shariri" soul." Charim'  Hindi
meaning- last birth on earth and is destined to get definite salvation.
 At last they permitted him on condition that only for a single day Gajsukumalji will be king of Dwarika since they wanted to see him as a king. After swearing as a king Gajsukumalji taken Diksha under Thirthankar Bhagwan Shri Aristanemiji. On the same day young Gajsukumalji with permission from Bhagwan went to graveyard to perform meditation known as "Bhikshupratima" a too difficult Tap.

Bhikshpratima  is most difficult form of meditation. As a result one can get salvation otherwise, heavy causalities one has to face. Somil Bramhin  happened to see Gajsukumalji while in meditation. He got boiled with anger since Gajsukumalji to become a monk has left his daughter unmarried. With burning revenge desire, he made a plan to kill the monk ,he built clay pot over his head and put burning coals into it. It was due to similar Karmas Gajasukumalji built against him before 99 crores Purva long long time ago. Karma roused  for results 
Neither Muni broken his Dyan nor he opened his eyes. Silently---he faced the severe pain of burning. Even in his mind for a fraction of seconds- Muni not expressed any anger against the killer. He entered into broader thinking process and thought "Oh! here I got a chance to clear my old debts because unless, I have created it nobody can make me suffer. Let me clear all debts to get salvation. This is life time opportunity I was waiting for. Thanks to soul who made me to get what I desperately needed to clear the heavy burden over my soul "

The thinking caused him to get Keval dyana and salvation in same day. Diksha, having crown of King and Moksha all major events in a single day--------!! Only exceptional soul can get all 3 in a single day.
Thus this a unique story. Many noble soul carried out longer Tap and Sadhana and got salvation. But here in a single day Gajsukumalji got
it. Of course the price and courage shown by Muni was great and unparalleled  with no matching over centuries. This story has also a

great example of power of Karma. A prince, disciple of Bhagwan
and brother of Lord Krishna all in one. Such a grand personality but
Karma and it's rise has to be faced by every one in spite of his/her
background. No one can avoid the result of Karma. It warns all of
us to be careful for all our actions small or big. You are free to have
any type of action but not free to escape the results. Have the same
amount of courage to repay the loan of Karma.Gajsumalji had the
courage and Karma rewarded him  by unique gift of Salvation.

Just imagine the tremendous pain of burning .he went through. When Devakimata gave permission to her son Gajsukumalji--She told--" Mhane Chod Chalya Lalji,Biji Maata Mat Kijoji "means you are leaving me my dear son but see  that you get salvation so that no any need remains to search for another mother for getting next birth.
Gajsukumalji fulfilled the expectation of mother his unparalleled courage. Our heart felt salute to his noble soul----!!!- Jai Ho----!!!.
Whenever I read burning of newly weds for dowry or other reasons , it reminds me this story of  this great  soul Pujya Muni Gajsukumalji.
If with this story we compared ourselves, we can  sadly see our own weaknesses. We can not bear a slight burn. We get furious even with words ,better not to imagine bodily torture. We have now to be more tolerate knowingly Karma theory. At least this we can learn from it.
The great soul of Gajsukumalji not uttered a slow cry and suffered the pain silently. A tiny question why this to me would have deferred his salvation, The prize he got was priceless and beyond any words i.e. Moksha. Every Bhavi soul is waiting for it. For it be tolerate.
