ABHIGRAHA----SATI CHANDANBALA DISCOVERY-------!!!

Bhagwan Mahaveer has taught us a new way of fast. It being called 'Abhigraha ". It means some conditions set to be completed before a Tapsavi can take food. There is no time limit set for it's completion.
It is testing tool for organs and determination. Too hard kind of Tap.

Conditions may be fulfilled or may not be. We can go for a simpler one in beginning and add more conditions later on as suited to us.
Abhigraha is conquering fear or insecurity for the living. Here is the story of  Sati Chandanbala who fulfilled the Abhigraha of Bhagwan Mahaveerswami. It was too great and rare achievement for any soul.

There was a kingdom called Champa. Vasumati was princess of this state. Her father lost one war and the soldier of enemy sold his only daughter as a slave to a trader. Dhannaseth bought the princess to his house and properly treated her. He renamed her as Chandana but his wife gave her bad treatments out of jealousy out of a small incidents. Once Seth returned from outside. Chandana washed his feet. While doing it her hair felled which set tried to reset.  She shaved her hair and locked her in dark room with chains when trader went outside.

In those days Mahveerswami has taken Abhigraha that He will only eat food if his 13 conditions are met- the food ( Udid Bakle Gochari
should be offered by princess with bald head and chains in feet. Her one feet shall be inside the house and another shall be outside home. There must be tears in her eye. Too difficult abhigraha even to think. 
Only Bhagwan can dare and take such a difficult Abhigraha. It was
for a period of fast covering five month and 24 day. On 176th day for
Gochari Bhagwan Mahaveer himself moved out of his staying place.

First when Chandana saw Mahaveerswami, She completed main four conditions. but there were no tears in her eye. When Mahaveerswami started moving without taking food from her, Chandana started just crying. She was cursing her destiny and misfortune. Mahaveerswami looked back saw her and returned. With tear in her innocent eyes, his

condition of tears was met. He took food from her. Chandana's long  long cherished dream came true. It's a great life time event for her.

Suddenly there was sound waves from heaven from heavenly God.
"Aho Danam-!!! Aho Danam--!!! "--- What a great charity-!!!).
Gods from heaven celebrated this event. There was happiness every

where on completion of such a difficult Abhigraha. They poured rain consisting diamonds, jewels and pearls. Indra and other gods were relieved from worry of Bhagwan's health and future, Since overall probability of completion of such Abhigraha was too rare and much difficult. Bhagwan dared it as He was  truly fearless. Bhagwan was
in hurry to cut off his huge debt of Karma in short span of 72 years.

Then ,Chandana became Chandanbala Sati and took Diksha from Mahaveerswami. She became his first principle lady disciple. All  Sadhviji of Bhagwan were under her supervision and guidance. She engaged herself on path of salvation and with Dharma Sadhna  she achieved the aim and became Siddha.Sidha Sidhi Mam Di Santu---!!.

Many salutes to such a great soul are due from all of us She is most 
respected and worshiped Mahasatiji in Jainism history. She has the
full credit of giving Gochri to no other than "Thirthankarbhagwan".
